Introduction

Please make sure you familiarise your-

self fully with the way the device works

before you use it for the ﬁrst time and

that you understand how to handle electrical pow-

er tools correctly. To help you do this please read

the accompanying operating instructions.

Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass

the device on to anyone else, please ensure that

you also pass on all the documentation.

Proper use

The belt sander is designed for dry sanding of

large surfaces of wood, plastic, metal, plaster and

painted surfaces. The device may only be used for

dry sanding. Always use a sanding belt and grade

of grit suitable for the particular surface you are

sanding. The speed selected should also be appro-

priate for the material. The device is not intended

for commercial use. Any other use or modiﬁcation

to the device shall be considered as improper use

and could give rise to considerable dangers. The

manufacturer will not accept liability for loss or

damage arising from improper use.

WARNING!

The vibration level given in these

instructions has been measured in accordance with

a standardised measurement procedure speciﬁed

in EN 60745 and can be used to compare devices.

Diﬀerent uses of the device give rise to diﬀerent vibra-

tion levels and in many cases they may exceed the

values given in these instructions. It is easy to underes-

timate the vibration load if the electrical power tool is

used regularly in particular circumstances.

Note: If you wish to make an accurate assessment

of the vibration loads experienced during a particu-

lar period of working, you should also take into

account the intervening periods of time when the

device is switched oﬀ or is running but is not actual-

ly in use. This can result in a much lower vibration

load over the whole of the period of working.

The PBS 900 A1 belt sander has full-wave electron-

ics with additional control electronics, soft start with

inrush current limiting.

Electrical safety

The mains plug on the device must match

the mains socket. The plug must not be

modified in any way. Do not use an

adapter plug with devices fitted with

a protective earth. Unmodiﬁed plugs and

matching sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.

b) Avoid touching earthed surfaces such

as pipes, radiators, ovens and refrig-

erators with any part of your body.

There is an increased risk of electric shock if

your body is earthed

c) Keep the device away from rain or

moisture. Water entering an electrical device

increases the risk of electric shock.

Do not use the mains lead for

any purpose for which it was

not intended, e.g. to carry the

device, to hang up the device or to pull

the mains plug out of the mains socket.

Keep the mains lead away from heat,

oil, sharp edges or moving parts of the

device. Damaged or tangled mains leads

increase the risk of electric shock.

e) When working outdoors with an

electrical power tool always use ex-

tension cables that are also approved

for use outdoors. The use of an extension

cable suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk

of electric shock.

f) Use a residual current device (RCD)

for protection if operating the electri-

cal power tool in a moist environment

is unavoidable. The use of an RCD reduces

the risk of electric shock.

3. Personal safety

a) Remain alert at all times, watch what

you are doing and always proceed

with caution. Do not use the device if

you are tired or under the influence of

drugs, alcohol or medication. One mo

ment

of carelessness when using the device can lead

to serious injury.

Wear personal protective

equipment and always wear

safety glasses. The wearing of

personal protective equipment such as dust

masks, non-slip safety shoes, safety helmets or

ear protectors, appropriate to the type of elec-

trical power tool used and work undertaken,

reduces the risk of injury.

c) Avoid unintentional operation of the

device. Check that the electrical power

tool is switched off before you connect

it to the mains, pick it up or carry it.

Accidents can happen if you carry the device

with your ﬁnger on the ON / OFF switch or with

the device switched on.

d) Remove any setting tools or spanners

before you switch the device on. A tool

or spanner left attached to a rotating part of a

device can lead to injury.

e) Avoid placing your body in an unnat-

ural position. Keep proper footing

and balance at all times. By doing this

you will be in a better position to control the

device in unforeseen circumstances.

f) Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear

loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your

hair, clothing and gloves clear of mov-

ing parts. Loose clothing, jewellery or long

hair can become trapped in moving parts.

g) If vacuum dust extraction and collection

devices are fitted do not forget to

check

that they are properly connected and

correctly used. The use of these devices

reduces the hazard presented by dust.

Careful handling and use

of electrical power tools

a) Do not overload the device. Always

use an electrical power tool that is

intended for the task you are under-

taking. By using the right electrical power

tool for the job you will work more safely and

achieve a better result.

b) Do not use an electrical power tool if

its switch is defective. An electrical power

tool that can no longer be switched on and oﬀ

is dangerous and must be repaired.

c) Pull the mains plug from the socket

before you make any adjustments to

the device, change accessories or when

the device is put away. This precaution is

intended to prevent you from unintentionally

starting the device.

d) When not in use always ensure that

electrical power tools are kept out of

reach of children. Do not let anyone use

the device if he or she is not familiar

with it or has not read the instructions

and advice. Electrical power tools are dan-

gerous when they are used by inexperienced

people.

e) Look after the device carefully. Check

that moving parts are working prop-

erly and move freely. Check for any

parts that are broken or damaged

enough to detrimentally affect the

functioning of the device. Have dam-

aged parts repaired before you use

the device. Many accidents have their origins

in poorly maintained electrical power tools.

f) Keep cutting tools clean and sharp.

Carefully maintained cutting tools with sharp

cutting edges are less likely to jam and are

easier to control.

g) Use the electrical power tool, accesso-

ries, inserted tools etc. in accordance

with these instructions and advice, and

the stipulations drawn up for this par-

ticular type of device. In doing this, take

into account the working conditions

and the task in hand. The use of electrical

power tools for purposes other than those in-

tended can lead to dangerous situations.

Safety advice for

belt sanders

Hold the device by the insulated han-

dle surfaces as the sanding belt could

strike the device’s own mains lead.

Damaging a live wire could result in the metal

parts of the device also becoming live and

could lead to an electric shock.

J DANGER OF FIRE FROM FLYING

SPARKS! Sanding metal creates ﬂying sparks.

For this reason, always make sure that nobody

is placed in any danger and that there are no

inﬂammable materials near the working area.

J When undertaking prolonged sanding of wood,

and in particular when working on materials

that give rise to dusts that are hazardous to

health, the sander must be connected to a

suitable external dust extraction device.

J Ensure that there is adequate ventilation when

working on plastic, paint, varnish etc.

J The belt sander is designed for the dry sanding

of large surfaces of wood, plastic, metal and

plaster and painted surfaces. The device is to

be used for dry sanding only.

J Do not sand materials containing asbestos.

Asbestos is a known carcinogen.

WARNING!

POISONOUS DUSTS!

Sanding paints containing lead, some types of

wood and metal for example may give rise to

hazardous or poisonous dusts and represents a

risk to the health of the person operating the

device and to anyone near the work area.

Wear safety glasses and a dust

protection mask!

J Securely support the workpiece. Use clamps or

a vice to grip the workpiece ﬁrmly. This is much

safer than holding it with your hand.

J Never support yourself by placing your hands

near or in front of the device or the workpiece

surface. A slip can result in injury.

J If a dangerous situation arises, pull the mains

plug immediately out of the mains socket.

J Always work with the mains lead leading

away from the rear of the device.

J Avoid contact with the moving sanding belt.

J Do not work on moistened materials or damp

surfaces.

J Always switch on the device before placing it

against the workpiece. After sanding, lift the de-

vice from the workpiece before switching it oﬀ.

J When working always hold the device securely

with both hands (see Fig. D). Always keep

proper footing and balance.

J Switch the device oﬀ and allow it to come to

a complete standstill before you put it down.

J When taking a break from your work, before

carrying out any tasks on the device itself (e.g.

changing the sanding belt) and when you are

not using the device, always pull the mains

plug out of the mains socket.

the sanding belt

WARNING!

RISK OF INJURY! Before

you carry out any work on the belt sander always

pull the plug out of the mains socket.

1. Then release the tensioner for the sanding belt

by moving the tensioning lever

fully out-

wards (see ﬁg. A). The tensioner is now open

and the sanding belt can be removed.

2. Next insert a new sanding belt or change the

belt for one suitable for a diﬀerent material or

one with a diﬀerent grit size.

IMPORTANT: The direction of the arrows on

the inside of the sanding belt must agree with

that on sander housing.

3. Press the tensioning lever

back into its

initial position.

Adjusting the sanding belt:

j Pick up the device, switch it on and turn it over.

Adjust the belt tracking by turning the adjuster

screw

until the edge of the sanding belt is

ﬂush with and runs parallel to the edge of the

device (Fig. B.).

IMPORTANT: Always make sure that the

sanding belt does not cut into the housing.

Check the sanding belt regularly and if neces-

sary re-adjust it using the adjuster screw

Advice on use

Light sanding pressure is enough:

j Apply light sanding pressure only. The weight

of the belt sander alone is adequate to pro-

duce good sanding results. By adopting this

approach you will also prolong the life of your

sanding belts and obtain a smoother work-

piece surface.

Sanding and surfaces:

The sanding output and the quality of the surface

ﬁnish obtained are determined by the belt speed

and the grade of grit on the sanding belt (see the

section on “Selecting the correct rotational speed

and sanding belt”).

Sanding procedure:

j With the sander switched on, bring it into con-

tact with the workpiece and move it forward

carefully. Work in parallel and overlapping

widths. Always work in the direction of the grain

to avoid undesirable transverse sanding marks.

After sanding always lift the device from the

workpiece before switching it oﬀ.

Vacuum dust extraction

WARNING!

DANGER OF FIRE! There is

the danger of ﬁre when working with electrical de-

vices that have a dustbox or can be connected to a

vacuum cleaner. Under certain conditions the

wood dust in the dust collection box (or in the vacu-

um‘s dust bag) may self-ignite, e.g. as a result of

ﬂying sparks generated when abrading metals or

metal objects left in wood. This can happen partic-

ularly if the wood dust is mixed with paint residue

or other chemicals and the abraded particles are

hot from prolonged abrasion. Therefore you must

empty the device’s dust collection box and the vac-

uum cleaner’s dust bag before taking a break or

stopping work and always avoid overheating of the

abraded particles and the device.

If there is an explosive mixture

of dust and air you must use a vacuum device espe-

cially intended for that purpose.

DANGER OF FIRE! Do not use vacuum dust

extraction (dust collection box or vacuum cleaner)

when sanding metals (ﬂying sparks).

Operation

Switching on and oﬀ

The PBS 900 A1 belt sander has full-wave electronics

with additional control electronics, soft start with

inrush current limiting.

When operating the belt sander you can select

between intermittent or continuous operation mode.

For short sanding tasks use the intermittent operation

mode. For longer sanding tasks we recommend the

continuous operation mode. Whilst working in your

selected mode the device functions as follows:

To switch on intermittent operation mode:

j Press the ON / OFF switch

To switch off intermittent operation mode:

j Release the ON / OFF switch

To switch on continuous operation mode:

j Press the ON / OFF switch

To switch off continuous operation mode:

j Press and then release the ON / OFF switch

Selecting the correct rotational

speed and sanding belt

You can select the belt speed using the belt speed

adjuster wheel

even whilst the sander is running.

The optimum belt speed depends on the workpiece

and the workpiece material. Always conﬁrm the

best speed by carrying out a small test. The follow-

ing table lists some recommended values to help

you determine the optimum speed.

Using the sander in

a ﬁxed mounting

The ﬁxed mounting kit allows you to use the device

for sanding vertically or horizontally by fastening

it on to a ﬂat stable surface (e.g. workbench).

Sanding horizontally (see Fig. E):

j Place the belt sander on to the mounting frame

and guide the dust extraction spout

through the opening of the mounting frame

Tighten the screws

j Place the two clamp plates

on to the holes

provided on the opposite side and screw the

clamp plates tight with the provided screws.

j Insert the pins of the screw clamps

into the

holes on one of the long sides of the mounting

frame

(see Fig. E). Attach the mounting

frame

by tightening the screw clamps

Sanding vertically (see Fig. F):

j Insert the pins of the screw clamps

into the

holes on one of the short sides of the mounting

frame

. Attach the mounting frame

to a

ﬂat, stable surface (e.g. workbench) by tighten-

ing the screw clamps

j Place the belt sander on to the mounting frame

and guide the dust extraction spout

through

the opening of the mounting frame

. Tighten

the screws

j Place the two clamp plates

on to the holes

provided on the opposite side and screw the

clamp plates tight with the provided screws.

Tips and tricks

j Never use the same sanding belt to sand wood

and metal.

j Worn or ripped sanding belts can damage

the workpiece. Change sanding belts at the

appropriate time.

j Keep the sanding belt properly tensioned so

that it does not hang down too much and

become unusable due to nicks, creases etc.

Maintenance and cleaning

WARNING!

RISK OF INJURY! Before

you carry out any work on the belt sander always

pull the mains plug out of the mains socket.

The belt sander is designed to be maintenance-free.

j Clean the device frequently. This should be done

immediately after you have ﬁnished using it.

j Use a dry cloth to clean the device - never use

petrol, solvents or cleaners that attack plastic.

j Always keep the ventilation slots clear.

j Remove any adhering dust with a narrow

paint brush.

er parts only. This will ensure that your de-

vice remains safe to use.

lead needs to be replaced, always

have the replacement carried out by

Warranty

The warranty for this appliance is for 3

years from the date of purchase. The ap-

pliance has been manufactured with care

and meticulously examined before deliv-

ery. Please retain your receipt as proof

of purchase. In the event of a warranty

claim, please make contact by telephone

with our Service Department. Only in this

way can a post-free despatch for your

goods be assured.

The warranty covers only claims for material and

maufacturing defects, but not for transport damage,

for wearing parts or for damage to fragile compo-

nents, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for

private use only and is not intended for commercial

use.

The warranty is void in the case of abusive and im-

proper handling, use of force and internal tamper-

ing not carried out by our authorized service branch.

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way

by this warranty.

The warranty period will not be extended by repairs

made unter warranty. This applies also to replaced

and repaired parts. Any damage and defects extant

on purchase must be reported immediately after

unpacking the appliance, at the latest, two days after

the purchase date. Repairs made after the expiration

of the warranty period are subject to payment.

Disposal

The packaging is wholly composed of

environmentally-friendly materials that can

be disposed of at a local recycling centre.

Do not dispose of electric tools

in the household waste!

In accordance with European Directive 2002 / 96 / EC

(covering waste electrical and electronic equipment)

and its transposition into national legislation, worn out

electrical power tools must be collected separately

and taken for environmentally compatible recycling.

Tračna brusilica PBS 900 A1

Uvod

Prije prvog puštanja u rad se upoznajte

sa funkcijama uređaja i informirajte se o

ispravnom načinu ophođenja sa električ-

nim uređajima. Pročitajte slijedeće upute za rukova-

nje. Ove upute dobro sačuvajte. Prilikom predavanja

uređaja trećim osobama obavezno priložite i ove upu

te.

Namjenska upotreba

Trakasta brusilica je namjenjena za suho brušenje

površina drva, plastike, metala i kita kao i lakiranih

površina. Uređaj se smije upotrebljavati samo za

suho brušenje. Pazite da za obradu različitih mate-

rijala upotrebljavate brusne listove s različitom gra-

nulacijom, te da broj okretaja također prilagodite

materijalu. Uređaj nije namjenjen za uporabu u

komercijalne svrhe. Svaka druga uporaba ili preinaka

stroja smatra se nenamjenskom i skriva znatnu opa-

snost od nesreće. Za zbog nenamjenske uporabe

nastale štete proizvođač ne preuzima odgovornost.

ćenja tijekom određenog radnog vremena, potrebno

je također uzeti u obzir vremena kad je stroj isključen,

Trakasta brusilica PBS 900 A1 raspolaže punovalnom

elektronikom sa dodatnom regulacijskom elektronikom,

lagano pokretanje sa ograničenjem uklopne struje.

U sigurnosnim uputa rabljeni izraz „električni alat“

odnosi se na električne uređaje sa mrežnim pogo-

nom (sa mrežnim kabelom) i na električni alat sa

akumula

torskim pogonom (bez mrežnog kabela).

Sigurnost na radnom mjestu

a) Vodite uvijek računa o tome, da Vaše

radno mjesto bude čisto i dobro os-

vjetljeno. Nered i ne osvjetljeno područje

rada, može uzrokovati nezgode.

U slučaju nepažnje, možete izgubiti kontrolu

nad strojem.

Električna sigurnost

a) Mrežni utikač uređaja mora odgova-

rati utičnici. Utikač se ni na kakav

način ne smije mijenjati. Ne koristite

adapterske utičnice zajedno s zaštitno

uzemljenim uređajima. Neizmijenjeni

utikači i odgovarajuće utičnice smanjuju rizik

električnog udara.

b) Izbjegavajte dodir tijela s uzemljenim

površinama kao što su cijevi, radijatori,

pećnice i hladnjaci. Postoji povećana opa-

snost od električnog udara ukoliko je vaše tijelo

uzemljeno.

c) Uređaj držite podalje od kiše i vlage.

Prodiranje vode u unutrašnjost uređaja poveća-

va opasnost električnog udara.

Ne koristite kabel u neke

druge svrhe, npr. za nošenje

uređaja, vješanje uređaja ili

za izvlačenje utikača iz utičnice. Kabel

držite podalje od topline, ulja, oštrih

rubova i pokretnih dijelova uređaja.

Oštećeni ili spetljani kabel ili utikač povećava

rizik električnog udara.

e) Kod rada na otvorenome koristite

samo produžni kabel koji je dozvoljen

za korištenje na otvorenome. Upotreba

produžnog kabla namijenjenog za korištenje

na otvorenome smanjuje rizik električnog udara.

f) Ako je korištenje električnog alata u

vlažnim prostorima neizbježno, rabite

zaštitnu strujnu sklopku. Korištenje zaštit-

ne strujne sklopke, smanjuje rizik strujnog udara.

3. Sigurnost osoba

a) Budite uvijek pozorni, vodite računa

o tome što radite i razumno pristupite

radu s električnim alatom. Ne rabite

stroj, ako ste umorni ili pod utjecajem

droga, alkohola ili lijekova. Jedan trenu

tak

nepažnje za vrijeme korištenja stroja, može

uzrokovati teške ozljede.

Nosite osobnu zaštitnu opre-

mu i uvijek zaštitne očale.

Korištenje osobne zaštitne opreme,

kao maske za prašinu, protuklizne zaštitne

cipele, zaštitnu kacigu ili štitnik za uši, ovisno o

vrsti i uporabi električnog alata, smanjuje rizik

od ozljeda.

c) Spriječite slučajno uključenje. Uvjerite

se u to, da je električni alat isključen,

prije uključenja na struju, podizanja

ili nošenja. Ako pri nošenju uređaja držite

prst na sklopki za UKLJUČENJE / ISKLJUČENJE

ili ako je uređaj uključen, prijeti opasnost od

nezgode.

d) Prije uključenja stroja, uklonite alat

za podešavanje ili vijčani ključ. Alat ili

ključ, koji se nalazi u rotirajućem dijelu stroja,

može prouzročiti ozljede.

e) Izbjegavajte nenaravan polažaj tijela.

Vodite računa o tome da sigurno

stojite na tlu i održavate vlastitu rav-

notežu. Na taj način bolje možete kontrolira-

ti uređaj, posebno u neočekivanim situacijama.

f) Nosite prikladnu odjeću. Ne nosite

široku odjeću ili nakit. Držite kosu,

odjeću i rukavice dalje od pomičnih

dijelova. Opuštena odjeća, nakit ili duga kosa

mogu biti zahvaćeni od pomičnih dijelova.

g) Ako se montira uređaje za usisavanje

i prihvaćanje prašine, uvjerite se u

to da su priključeni i da se pravilno

koriste. Uporaba tih uređaja, smanjuje

ugrožavanje od prašine.

Pažljivo postupanje s

električnim uređajima i

njihovo korištenje

a) Nemojte uređaj preopterećivati.

Koristite onaj električni uređaj koji

odgovara za Vaš rad. S odgovarajućim

električnim uređajem bolje i sigurnije ćete radi-

ti u navedenom području rada.

b) Ne koristite električni uređaj s neisprav-

nim prekidačem. Električni uređaj koji se više

ne može uključiti i isključiti opasan je i treba

ga dati popraviti.

c) Izvucite utikač iz utičnice, prije namje-

štanja uređaja, zamjene dijelova

opreme ili odlaganja uređaja. Ova

sigurnosna mjera spriječava slučajno

pokretanje električnog alata. Ova mje-

ra opreza spriječava nenamjerno pokretanje

uređaja.

d) Čuvajte ne korišteni električni uređaj

tako da nije na dohvatu djeci. Ne

dopustite da uređaj koriste osobe

koje s njim nisu upoznate ili koje nisu

pročitale upute. Električni alati su opasni

kada ih korite osobe bez iskustva.

e) Pažljivo održavajte uređaj. Kontroli-

rajte da li pokretni dijelovi uređaja

besprijekorno funkcioniraju i da ne

zapinju, da dijelovi nisu slomljeni ili

tako oštećeni da je funkcija uređaja

upitna. Molimo da oštećene dijelove

dadete popraviti prije korištenja ure-

đaja. Brojne nesreće imaju uzrok zbog loše

održavanih električnih alata.

f) Alat za rezanje treba biti oštar i čist.

Brižljivo njegovani alat za rezanje sa oštrim

reznim rubovima, manje zaglavi i jednostavniji

je za rukovanje.

g) Rabite električni alat, opremu i ugrad-

ni alat, itd. sukladno ovim uputama i

na način kako je propisano za ovaj

posebni tip uređaja. Pri tome uzmite

u obzir radne uvjete i rad koji se izvodi.

Uporaba električnog alata za drugu osim

predviđene primjene, može uzrokovati opasne

situacije.

Siguronosne upute

za trakaste brusilice

J Držite uređaj na izoliranim dijelovima

držki, jer brusna traka bi mogla do-

dirnuti vlastiti mrežni kabel. Oštećenje

voda pod naponom, može metalne dijelove

uređaja staviti pod napon i time prouzročiti

strujni udar.

J OPASNOST OD POŽARA ZBOG ISKRI!

Kada brusite metale nastaje iskrenje. Pazite

stoga obvezno na to da ne ugrožavate osobe i

da se nikakvi zapaljivi materijali ne nalaze u

blizini radnog mjesta.

J Priključite uređaj kod obrađivanja drva i posebno

pri obrađivanju materijala, kod kojih se prilikom

obrade stvaraju prašine koje ugrožavaju zdravlje,

na prikladnu vanjsku usisnu napravu.

J Brinite se kod obrade plastike, boja, lakova i

sličnog za dostatnu ventilaciju.

J Trakasta brusilica je namjenjena za suho brušenje

površina drva, plastike, metala i kita, te lakiranih

površina. Uređaj se smije upotrebljavati samo

za suho brušenje.

J Materijal koji sadrži azbest se ne smije obrađi-

vati. Azbest se smatra kancerogenim.

UPOZORENJE!

OTROVNE PRAŠINE!

Kod brušenja npr. olovnih namaza, nekih vrsta

drva i metala nastaju štetne / otrovne prašine

koje predstavljaju ugrožavanje zdravlja osobe

koja vodi uređaj ili osoba koje se nalaze u blizini.

Nosite zaštitne naočale i masku

protiv prašine!

J Osigurajte izradak. Upotrebljavajte zatezne

naprave / škrip za pričvršćenje izradka. Tako je

bolje osiguran, nego da ga držite svojom rukom.

J Ne oslanjajte ni u kojem slučaju ruke pored ili

ispred uređaja i na površini koju obrađujete, jer u

slučaju iskliznuća prijeti opasnost od ozljeđivanja.

J Izvucite u slučaju opasnosti odmah mrežni utikač

iz utičnice.

J Vodite mrežni kabel uvijek iza uređaja.

J Izbjegavajte kontakt sa rotirajućom trakom.

J Ne obrađujte namočene materijale ili mokre

površine.

J Vodite uređaj uvijek uključenog prema izradku.

Podignite uređaj nakon obrađivanja od izradka

i tek ga onda isključite.

J Držite uređaj za vrijeme rada uvijek čvrsto s obje

ruke (vidi također prikaz Abb. D). Osigurajte

se da sigurno stojite.

J Pustite uređaj da se potpuno zaustavi i isključite

ga prije nego li ga odložite.

J Izvucite pri svim radnim prekidima, pri svim

radovima na uređaju (npr. mijenjanju brusnog

papira) i kod nekorištenja uvijek mrežni utikač

iz utičnice.

UPOZORENJE!

OPASNOST OD OZ-

LJEĐIVANJA! Izvucite mrežni utikač uvijek iz

utičnice prije izvođenja radova na trakastoj brusilici.

1. Otpustite najprije zateznu napravu za brusnu

traku, tako da zateznu polugu

potpuno

zaokrenete (vidi prikaz A). Zatezna naprava je

sad otvorena i brusna traka se može izvaditi.

2. Stavite sada novu brusnu traku tj. izmijenite je

za obrađivanje drugog materijala ili mijenjanje

granualcije.

VAŽNO: Pravci strijelica na unutarnjoj strani

brusne trake i na kućištu uređaja se moraju

podudarati.

3. Pritisnite zateznu polugu

ponovno u početnu

poziciju.

Namještanje brusne trake:

j Podignite, uključite i okrenite uređaj. Namjestite

sada brusnu traku tako da vrtite vijak za namje-

štanje

tako dok rub brusne trake nije izjed-

načen i paralelan s rubom uređaja (prikaz B).

VAŽNO: Pazite obvezno na to da se brusna

traka ne ureže u kućište. Provjeravajte redovito

hod trake i namjestite ga ako je potrebno sa

vijkom za namještanje

Upute za rad

Dovoljan je neznatan brusni pritisak:

j Radite s neznatnim brusnim pritiskom. Vlastita

težina trakaste brusilice je dovoljna za dobre

rezultate brušenja. Dodatno štedite takvim

načinom rada trošenje brusne trake, te će povr-

šine biti glatkije.

Uštrb i površine:

Uštrb i kakvoća površine se određuju brzinom brusne

trake i jačinom zrna brusne trake (vidi također

poglavlje “odabir broja okretaja i brusne trake”).

Postupak brušenja:

j Postavite uključeni uređaj na izradak i radite s

umjerenim pomakom. Izvodite postupak brušenja

paralelno i preklapajući prema brusnim trakama.

Za izbjegavanje smetajućih, poprečnih brusnih

tragova, brusite samo u smjeru vlakana. Dignite

uređaj nakon obrade od izradka i tek ga onda

isključite.

Usisavanje prašine

UPOZORENJE!

OPASNOST OD PO-

ŽARA! Kod radova s električnim uređajima, koji

raspolažu s kutijom za prihvat prašine ili se mogu

spojiti na naprave za usisavanje prašine, prijeti

opasnost od požara! Pod nepovoljnim okolnostima,

kao npr. iskrenje - kod brušenja metala i metalnih

ostataka u drvu - se drvena prašina u kutiji za prihvat

prašine (ili u vrećici za prašinu usisavača) može

sama zapaliti. To posebno može nastupiti ako se

drvena prašina pomiješa sa ostacima laka ili drugih

kemijskih tvari i kad je brusni predmet nakon duge

obrade postao vruć. Izbjegavajte stoga obvezno

pregrijavanje brusnog predmete i uređaja, te ispra-

znite kutiju za prihvat prašine tj. vrećicu za prašinu

usisavača uvijek prije svake radne stanke.

(iskrenje) ne upotrebljavajte usisavač (kutiju za pri-

hvat prašine ili vrećicu za usisavač).

2. Stavite cijev dozvoljene usisne naprave (npr.

radionički usisivač) na usisni adapter

Rukovanje

Uključivanje i isključivanje

Trakasta brusilica PBS 900 A1 raspolaže punoval-

nom elektronikom sa dodatnom regulacijskom

elektronikom, lagano pokretanje sa ograničenjem

uklopne struje.

Prilikom rada trakaste brusilice možete birati između

trenutnog i trajnog pogona. Upotrebljavajte za kratke

radove trenutni pogon. Za dugotrajne radove pre-

poručavamo trajni pogon. Rukovanje vaših željenih

namještanja funkcionira kako slijedi:

j Pritisnite prekidač uključivanje / isključivanje

Isključivanje trenutnog pogona:

j Pustite prekidač uključivanje / isključivanje

Uključivanje trajnog pogona:

i držite ga pritisnutoga, te pritisnite dugme za

ﬁksiranje

te ga otpustite.

Odabir broja okretaja

i brusne trake

Postavnim kotačićem za namještanje brzine trake

možete odabrati broj okretaja čak za vrijeme

rada uređaja. Optimalna brzina okretaja je ovisna

o izradku tj. materijalu kojega želite obraditi. Utvr-

dite uvijek sami najbolji broj okretaja u praktičnom

pokusu. U slijedećoj tabeli naći ćete neobvezavajuće

vrijednosti, koje vam mogu olakšati utvrđivanje.
