The instructions for use are part of the product. They

contain important information concerning safety,

use and disposal. Before using the product, please

familiarise yourself with all of the safety information

and instructions for use. Only use the product as

described and for the speciﬁed applications. If you

pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure

that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

Intended use

The product is only designed to trim natural hair. It

may only be used on human hair, and not on artiﬁ-

cial or animal hair. The product is only intended for

use indoors in private households and is not inten-

ded for commercial use or for any other use.

Repairs should only be carried

out by a specialist. Improper re-

pairs may result in considerable

danger to the user. This will also

make any warranty claims void.

Do not use defective attachments

with the product as these could

have sharp corners.

Defective components must al-

ways be replaced with original

spare parts. Only by using origi-

nal spare parts can you ensure

that safety requirements are met.

Connect the plug-in mains

well within reach.

Connect the supply cord to the

Use the original accessories only.

Do not place the product on hot

WEAR PROTECTIVE

GLOVES! Leaked or

damaged batteries / rechargea-

ble batteries can cause burns

on contact with the skin. Wear

suitable protective gloves at all

times if such an event occurs.

This product contains a recharge-

able battery which cannot be

removed. The removal or replace-

ment of the rechargeable battery

may only be carried out by the

manufacturer or his customer ser-

vice or by a similarly qualiﬁed

person in order to avoid hazards.

When disposing of the product,

Before use

Note: The product may be powered using the

built-in rechargeable battery or the plug-in mains

adapter.

Remove all parts from the package.

Charging

Note: Before ﬁrst use, the rechargeable battery in

the product should be charged for at least 90 minu-

tes. A charging time of 90 minutes is also required

subsequently.

To avoid injuries and damage to the product,

always switch the product oﬀ before charging

the battery (ON / OFF switch

”0” position).

Insert the cable plug of the plug-in mains ad-

into the socket on the underside of

the product.

Insert the plug-in mains adapter

into a

socket which meets the product requirements.

Indirect charging (see Fig. D)

To avoid injuries and damage to the product,

always switch the product oﬀ before charging

the battery (ON / OFF switch

set to the

”0” position).

Connect the cable plug of the plug-in mains

adapter

with the charging base

Place the product into the recess of the char-

ging base

with the cutting unit

pointing

upwards.

Insert the plug-in mains adapter

into a

socket which meets the product requirements.

Note: During the charging process, the red

charging display

will light up and the battery

status display

will show the battery level.

Note: As soon as the battery is charged, the

battery status display

will switch oﬀ, while the

charging display

will continue to be red.

Note: You can use the product for up to approx.

60 minutes with a full battery without it being

connected to the power supply.

Note: When the battery is almost empty, the char-

ging display

on the display will ﬂash. Then, the

product may only be used for a short period of

time without being connected to the power supply.

Operating using the plug-in mains adapter:

If the product stops working during use due to an

empty or insuﬃcient battery, you can continue if

the plug-in mains adapter is connected.

Insert the cable plug of the plug-in mains ad-

apter

into the socket on the underside of

the product.

To avoid injuries and damage to the product,

always switch the product oﬀ before connecting

to the plug-in mains adapter

Insert the plug-in mains adapter

into a

socket which meets the product requirements.

After a few seconds you can switch on the pro-

duct by pressing down the travel lock

and

sliding the ON / OFF switch

into the desired

position for the desired speed. If the product

does not start working immediately, switch it

oﬀ by sliding the ON / OFF switch

to the

”0” position. Wait approx. 1 minute before

you try to switch it on again.

Oiling the blades

It is recommended that you oil the blades before

ﬁrst use and after cleaning to guarantee complete

functionality (see Fig. E).

Apply one or two drops of blade oil

bet-

ween the blades and distribute them evenly.

Wipe away any excess oil using a cloth.

You can also use any acid-free oil such as

sewing machine oil.

Changing the attachments

Carefully place the desired comb attachment

onto the product as depicted in Fig. F. Ensure

that both recesses of the comb attachment

properly engage into the lateral detents at both

sides above the cutting unit

To remove the comb attachment

, press and

lide it forward and upwards using both t

humbs,

as depicted in Fig. G.

Setting the trim length

To set diﬀerent trim lengths, hold the upper part

of the product

and twist the lower part of

the product

into the desired position

(0.8–2.0 mm). The set trim length will be dis-

played on the length position indicator

which aligns with the dot-marking on the upper

part of the product

Trimming hair

Note: The hair being trimmed should be clean,

dry and untangled.

Carefully comb the hair using the supplied

comb

to disentangle any potential knots.

Place the hairdressing cape

around the

neck and nape to prevent bits of hair from

falling into the collar.

Begin by using the longer comb attachment

and trim the hair gradually to the desired length.

Note that the desired trim length can only be

achieved if the product is held perpendicularly

to the skin‘s surface.

Avoid making sudden movements when

trimming.

Switch the product on by pressing down the

travel lock

and sliding the ON / OFF switch

to the ”I” position. To maximize performance,

slide the ON / OFF switch

to the ”Turbo”

position. The Turbo display

will appear on

the display if this is the case.

Always trim from the nape in the direction of

the top of the head, or from the forehead and

temples towards the centre of the head.

Guide the product slowly and steadily through

the hair. If possible, trim against the direction

of the hair‘s growth.

While doing so, hold the product in such a

way that the selected comb attachment

positioned as level as possible.

Move the product over the head several times

to collect all of the hair. To achieve a straight

line, move the product through the hair several

times from diﬀerent directions.

Comb the hair repeatedly.

You can graduate the desired trim length of

the comb attachment

more accurately by

rotating the lower part of the product

ac-

cording to length position indicator

. These

gradations diﬀer by 0.3 mm.

Thinning hair

Note: Using this function you can reduce the

volume of the hair by collecting and cutting only

some of it oﬀ.

Place the thinning attachment

onto the pro-

duct as described in the chapter ”Changing

the attachments.”

Note: The thinning attachment

prevents

every hair from being cut.

Trimming beards

Note that the desired trim length can only be

achieved if the product is held perpendicularly

to the skin‘s surface.

Comb the beard using the supplied comb

in its direction of growth.

Shorten the beard downwards from the ear to

the chin, one side after the other.

Use the cutting unit

without the comb

attachment

to trim the beard very short or

to trim a moustache or hairline.

Graduate the desired trim length by rotating

the lower part of the product

according to

length position indicator

. The trim length

may be set to 5 diﬀerent levels (0.8 mm /

1.1 mm / 1.4 mm / 1.7 mm / 2.0 mm).

To trim a moustache, ﬁrstly comb it straight

downwards. Begin in the centre above the

mouth, then one side and then the other.

Cleaning and care

CAUTION! DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC

SHOCK! Pull the plug-in mains adapter

out

of the mains socket before cleaning the product.

Never touch the plug-in mains adapter

with

moist or wet hands, especially when you plug

it into the socket or pull it out of the socket.

Always keep the plug-in mains adapter

and

supply cord dry.

Do not submerge the product in water or any

other liquid to clean it as the product is not

waterproof. This could damage the live parts

(rechargeable batteries).

Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning

Clean the housing and the charging base

using a damp cloth and a mild detergent.

Switch the product oﬀ by sliding the ON / OFF

switch

to the ”0” position.

Disconnect the supply cord from the product

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable mate-

rials, which you may dispose of at local recycling

facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging

materials for waste separation, which

are marked with abbreviations (a) and

numbers (b) with following meaning:

1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and ﬁbre-

board / 80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials

are recyclable, dispose of it separately

for better waste treatment. The Triman

logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal

authority for more details of how to

dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please

dispose of the product properly when

it has reached the end of its useful life

and not in the household waste. Infor-

mation on collection points and their

opening hours can be obtained from

your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries

must be recycled in accordance with Directive

2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return

the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the

product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through

incorrect disposal of the

batter-

ies / rechargeable batteries!

Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be dis-

posed of with the usual domestic waste. They may

contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to haz-

ardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The

chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows:

Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is

why you should dispose of used batteries / recharge-

able batteries at a local collection point.

The product has been manufactured to strict quality

guidelines and meticulously examined before deliv-

ery. In the event of product defects you have legal

rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal

rights are not limited in any way by our warranty

detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the d

of purchase. Should this product show any fault in

materials or manufacture within 3 years from the

date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at

our choice – free of charge to you.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase.

Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe lo-

cation. This document is required as your proof of

purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product

has been damaged, or used or maintained impr

operly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or man-

ufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts

subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered

consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to frag-

ile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or

glass parts.

igračka! Djeca često podcje-

njuju opasnosti u rukovanju s

Ovaj proizvod mogu koristiti

djeca od 8godina i starija djeca,

kao i osobe s umanjenom psihič-

kom, senzoričkom i mentalnom

sposobnošću ili s pomanjkanjem

iskustva, ako su pod nadzorom

U slučaju

da proizvod padne u vodu,

obavezno prvo izvucite mrežni

utikač iz utičnice, prije nego što

dirate vodu.

Nikada ne

dirajte mrežni utikač s mokrim

rukama, posebno kada ga gu-

rate u utičnicu ili izvlačite iz nje.

Nikada ne

uranjajte proizvod ili strujni ka-

bel i stalak za punjenje u vodu

ili neku drugu tekućinu te ih ni-

kada ne ispirite pod tekućom

vodom.

Ne koristite

proizvod za vrijeme kupanja.

Za dodatnu zaštitu preporučamo

instalaciju opreme za zaštitu od

strujnih smetnji (FI/RCD) sa

mjernom okidnom strujom sa ne

više od 30 mA u strujnom krugu

kupaonice. Potražite savjet insta-

latera.

Za strujni pogon koristite samo

isporučeni originalni mrežni

utikač.

Izvucite mrežni utikač iz utičnice

- kada dođe do smetnje,

- prije čišćenja proizvoda,

- ako proizvod ne koristite duže

vrijeme,

- dok traje nevrijeme

- poslije svake uporabe.

Pritom vucite direktno za mrežni

utikač, a ne za strujni kabel.

Izbjegavajte opasnost

od ozljeda

Ne mijenjajte pribor kada je

proizvod uključen.

Ne koristite proizvod, ako utvr-

dite bilo kakva vidna vanjska

oštećenja. Ne upotrebljavajte

proizvod ako je oštećen.

Ako tekućina dospije u proizvod,

provjerite ga prije ponovne upo-

rabe.

Ako se utvrdi oštećenje na struj-

nom kablu, na mrežnom utikaču,

na kućištu ili na drugim dijelo

vima,

proizvod se ne smije koristiti.

Izvođenje popravaka prepustite

samo specijaliziranom trgovcu.

Nestručni popravci mogu pred-

stavljati ozbiljne rizike za kori-

snika. Osim toga prestaje svako

pravo na jamstvo.

Ne koristite proizvod sa defek-

tnim nastavcima, jer ovi mogu

imati oštre bridove.

Defektne komponente se uvijek

moraju zamijeniti sa originalnim

dijelovima. Ispunjavanje sigur-

nosnih uvjeta se može jamčiti

samo ako se upotrebljavaju

originalni dijelovi.

Priključite mrežni utikač samo u

lako dostupnu utičnicu.

Nikada ne puštajte proizvod da

radi bez nadzora i puštajte ga

da radi samo u skladu sa speci-

ﬁkacijom na označnoj pločici.

Priključite strujni kabel u proizvod,

prije nego što gurnete mrežni

utikač u utičnicu.

Vrhovi nastavaka su oštri.

Isključite proizvod prije svakog

stavljanja ili mijenjanja nasta-

vaka te prije čišćenja.

Provedite strujni kabel tako da

nitko ne može na njega stati ili

preko njega pasti.

Ne koristite proizvod kod

otvorenih rana, posjekotina,

opekotina od sunca ili žuljeva.

Izbjegnite opasnost

od materijalne štete

Električni proizvodi mogu pred-

Uvijek držite životinje podalje

Zaštitite proizvod od vlage,

da se ne vuče po vrućim površi-

nama. Inače bi se mogla oštetiti

izolacija strujnog kabla.

Koristite samo originalni pribor.

Ne stavljajte proizvod na vruće

površine, u blizini vrućih površina

ili ispred otvorenog plamena.

Ne pokrivajte mrežni utikač niti

proizvod, da biste spriječili

nedopušteno zagrijavanje za

vrijeme uporabe i punjenja.

Ne koristite abrazivna ili zače-

pljujuća sredstva za čišćenje.

Držite ulje za škare podalje od

djece. Ne gutajte ulje za škare,

ne mažite ga po očima. Ako

ga ne koristite, spremite ga na

sigurnom mjestu.
