quality product. The instructions for use are

part of the product. They contain important informa-

tion concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using

the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the

safety information and instructions for use. Only use

the product as described and for the speciﬁed appli-

cations. If you pass the product on to anyone else,

please ensure that you also pass on all the documen-

tation with it.

Proper use

This product is designed to weigh out and tare quanti-

ties of food. The product is designed only for use in

private household and must not be used in medicinal

or commercial areas. The manufacturer is not liable to

damage caused by improper use.

supervision or instruction concerning

components. This means that if it is

interference. This could be, for ex-

and microwaves. If the display in-

dicates a problem, move such ob-

jects away from it.

Electromagnetic interference / high-

frequency emissions can lead to

the product failing. In cases of the

product failing to work, remove the

battery for a short while and then

Protect the product from electrostatic

the internal data exchange, which

causes errors in the LC display

Risk of leakage of batteries /

Avoid extreme environmental con-

ditions and temperatures, which

If batteries / rechargeable batteries

have leaked, avoid contact with

skin, eyes and mucous membranes

with the chemicals! Flush immedi-

ately the aﬀected areas with fresh

water and seek medical attention!

Remove all packaging materials from the product.

Turn the product over and place it on a soft under-

lay to avoid scratching the surface. Loosen the

screw

located at the cover of the battery com-

partment

on the back of the product.

Open the cover of the battery compartment

on the back of the product.

Pull out the insulation strip from the battery

compartment

Close the cover of the battery compartment

and tighten the screw

Replacing the battery (Fig. C)

Turn the product over and place it on a soft underlay

to avoid scratching the surface. Loosen the screw

located at the cover of the battery compartment

on the back of the product.

Open the cover of the battery compartment

on the back of the product.

Remove the used battery, if present.

Insert a battery type CR2032 in the battery

compartment

Note: Make sure you insert the batteries with the

correct polarity. This is indicated on the cover of

the battery compartment

Close the cover of the battery compartment

and tighten the screw

Operation

Set the product on a solid, level and ﬂat surface to

weigh.

Weighing

Note: Always place the object you wish to weigh

gently onto the weighing surface

to avoid damag-

ing the glass surface.

To activate the product, you may directly put a

load (e.g. food container) with minimum 250 g

onto the weighing surface

. Pressing onto the

weighing surface

with a certain force is also

possible to activate the product. You can always

press the button TARE

at any time to set the

zero point.

Place the item you wish to weigh onto the product.

The numerical display

will show the weight of

the item you are weighing.

Incremental weighing

Touching the button TARE

with the product on

will change the numerical display

from the

reading to “0“. The “T“ symbol

will appear.

Note: A slight touch of the button TARE

and the

button UNIT

is suﬃcient to operate the product.

If there is too much pressure, the product may

cause tilting.

Now add another item to weigh onto the product.

The numerical display

will show the weight of

the newly added item.

If you remove the item added to the product, the

numerical display

will again read “0“.

If you remove all items from the product, the LC

display

will show a negative value indicated

by the minus symbol

Then brieﬂy touch the button TARE

, and the “T“

symbol

will disappear.

Important! Be sure never to add more than 5 kg

to the weighing surface

. Overloading the product

can damage it.

Changing the measuring unit

The product will display the weight in the oﬃcial Euro-

pean measuring unit “g“ (grams), as well as the tradi-

tional unit of weight “oz“ (ounce, 1 oz ≈ 28.35 g) or

“lb’oz“ (pound: ounce, 1lb = 16 oz ≈ 453.59 g).

When measuring the volume of water, the product

calculates it by the weight using the oﬃcial European

unit of volume “ml“ (millilitres) or the traditional unit of

measure ﬂ’oz (ﬂuid ounces, 1ﬂ’oz ≈ 28.41 ml).

To switch the unit of measure, brieﬂy touch the UNIT

button

. After each time it is touched, the unit

display

will switch to the next unit listed:

g → oz → lb’oz → ml → ﬂ’oz

Holding the button TARE

for approx. 3 seconds

will oﬀ the product. If no movement is detected on

the weighing surface

for 3 minute and no but-

ton is pressed, the product will automatically

switch oﬀ.

Electrostatic discharges can lead to malfunctions. In

cases of the product failing to work, remove the

batteries for a short while and then replace them.

Cleaning and care

Never immerse the product in water or other

liquids. This can damage the product.

Clean the product with a slightly dampened, ﬂuﬀ-

free cloth. To remove more stubborn dirt, you can

also dampen the cloth with a weak soap solution.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials,

which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging

materials for waste separation, which are

marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers

(b) with following meaning: 1–7: plas-

tics / 20–22: paper and ﬁbreboard /

80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are

recyclable, dispose of it separately for bet-

ter waste treatment. The Triman logo is

valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority

for more details of how to dispose of your

worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please

dispose of the product properly when it has

reached the end of its useful life and not in

the household waste. Information on

collection points and their opening hours

can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must

be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/

EC and its amendments. Please return the batter-

ies / rechargeable batteries and / or the product to the

available collection points.

Environmental damage through

incorrect disposal of the batter-

ies / rechargeable batteries!

Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed

of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain

toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste

treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols

for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg =

mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of

used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local col-

lection point.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality

guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery.

In the event of product defects you have legal rights

against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights

are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed

below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date

of purchase. Should this product show any fault in ma-

terials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of

purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice

– free of charge to you.

This warranty becomes void if the product has been

damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or

If functional or other defects occur, please contact the

You can return a defective product to us free of charge

to the service address that will be provided to you. En-

sure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt)

and information about what the defect is and when it

Rukovanje

Mijenjanje mjerne jedinice

Proizvod pokazuje težinu u službenoj europskoj mjernoj

edinici „g“ (gram), ali i u tradicionalnim jedinicama

vaganja „oz“ (unca, 1 oz ≈ 28,35 g) ili „lb’oz“ (funta:

unca, 1lb = 16 oz ≈ 453,59 g).

Ako želite mjeriti volumen vode, proizvod ga na osnovi

težine preračunava u službenu europsku jedinicu „ml“

(mililitar) ili tradicionlnu mjernu jedinicu ﬂ’oz (unca za

tekućine, 1ﬂ’oz ≈ 28,41 ml).

Za mijenjanje mjerne jedinice kratko dodirnite uklopno

polje UNIT

. Prikaz jedinice

sa svakim dodirom

prelazi u sljedeću jedinicu koja je ovdje navedena:

Isključivanje

Kod trajnog dodirivanja uklopnog polja TARE

cca. 3 sekunde, proizvod se isključuje. Ako se na po-

vršini za vaganje

3 minute ne registrira nikakvo

kretanje i ako se ne dodirne uklopno polje, proizvod

se automatski isključuje.

prikažu pogreške, uklonite takve

uređaje iz okoline proizvoda.

Elektrostatsko pražnjenje može prouzročiti funkcijske

smetnje. Uklonite pri takvim funkcijskim smetnjama na

kratko baterije i umetnite ih ponovno.

Čišćenje i održavanje

Proizvod nikada ne uranjajte u vodu ili u druge

tekućine. U protivnom može doći do oštećenja

proizvoda.

Proizvod čistite lagano navlaženom krpom koja

ne ostavlja vlakna.

Kod jače prljavštine također

možete krpu navlažiti blagom sapunicom.

Zbrinjavanje

Ambalaža se sastoji od ekološki neškodljivih materijala

koje možete zbrinuti na lokalnim mjestima za reciklažu.

Uvažavajte obilježavanje ambalaže za

odvajanje otpada, ono je obilježeno s

kraticama (a) i brojevima (b) sa slijedećim

značenjem: 1–7: plastika / 20–22: papir i

karton / 80–98: miješani materijali.

Proizvod i ambalaža se mogu reciklorati,

zbrinite ih odvojeno za bolje obrađivanje

otpada. Triman-Logo važi samo za Francusku.

O mogućnostima zbrinjavanja dotrajalog

proizvoda možete se raspitati kod vaše

općinske ili gradske uprave.

Zbog zaštite okoliša ne bacajte dotrajali

proizvod u kućni otpad, već ga predajte

stručnom zbrinjavanju. Informacije o mje-

stima za sakupljanje otpada i njihovom

radnom vremenu možete dobiti pri Vašem

nadležnom općinskom uredu.

Oštećene ili potrošene baterije / punjive baterije se

moraju reciklirati u skladu s Direktivom 2006/66/EZ

i njenim izmjenama. Vratite baterije / punjive baterije

i / ili proizvod putem ponuđenih ustanova za sakuplja-

nje otpada.

Štete za okoliš zbog krivog

zbrinjavanja baterija / punjivih

baterija!

Baterije / punjive baterije se ne smiju zbrinjavati zajedno

s kućnim otpadom. One mogu sadržavati otrovne teške

metale i podliježu zbrinjavanju kao poseban otpad.

Kemijski simboli teških metala su slijedeći: Cd = kadmij,

Hg = živa, Pb = olovo. Stoga predajte istrošene baterije /

punjive baterije na komunalno mjesto za sabiranje

otpada.

Jamstvo

Proizvod se brižno izrađuje prema strogim smjernicama

kvalitete i prije isporuke savjesno ispituje. U slučaju nedo-

stataka na ovom proizvodu, na raspolaganju imate

zakonska prava protiv prodavača tog uređaja. Vaša

zakonska prava ovim našim jamstvom koje je predstav-

ljeno u nastavku, ostaju netaknuta.

Za ovaj proizvod dobivate jamstvo u trajanju od

3 godine od datuma kupnje. Jamstveni rok počinje s

datumom kupovine. Molimo dobro sačuvajte originalan

račun s blagajne. To je dokumentacija kao dokaz

kupovine koji će se zahtijevati.

Ako u razdoblju od 3 godine od datuma kupovine

ovog proizvoda nastane kakva greška na materijalu

ili tvornočka greška, proizvod ćemo – prema našem

izboru – besplatno popraviti ili zamijeniti. Ovo jamstvo

se poništava, kada se proizvod ošteti, nestručno koristi

ili ne održava.

Jamstvo vrijedi za nedostatke na materijalu ili tvorničke

pogreške. Ovo jamstvo se ne proteže na dijelove proi-

zvoda, koji podliježu normalnom trošenju i stoga se

mogu smatrati kao normalni potrošni dijelovi (npr.

baterije) ili za oštećenja na krhkim dijelovima, npr.

prekidaču, punjivim baterijama ili takvi, koji su izrađeni

od stakla.

123456_7890) kao dokaz o kupnji.

Ukoliko nastanu greške u funkcioniranju ili drugi kvarovi,
