Carefully read all instructions before operating the appliance and save them for future

reference. By carefully following these instructions you can considerably prolong the

service life of your appliance.

The safety measures and instructions contained in this manual do not cover all possible

situations that may arise during the operation of the appliance. When operating the

device the user should be guided by common sense, be cautious and attentive.

ments and operation rules of the appliance.

This appliance is intended to be used for nonin-

dustrial use in house hold and similar spheres of

application. Industrial application or any other

misuse will be regarded as violation of proper

service conditions. Should this happen, manufac-

turer is not responsible for possible consequenc-

Before plugging in the appliance ensure that the

Use only earthed electric sockets as this is an ob-

Do not touch the housing while the kettle is

operating. Do not lean over the appliance

when the lid is on to avoid scalds.

Use the appliance for its intended purpose only.

Otherwise it will be considered as misuse.

Kettle may be used only with a specially designed

base (included).

•

Do not place the cord in doorframes or by heat

sources. Do not twist or bend the power cord, en-

sure that it is not in contact with sharp objects,

corners and edges of furniture.

Accidental damage to the power cord may

cause electric shock or breakdown not covered

by the terms of warranty. Promptly contact the

service centre to have the damaged power

cord replaced. Do not place the appliance on

soft, unstable surface.

Do not put the kettle on temperature-sensitive

surface, do not cover the appliance while it is in

operation as it may result in a fault or breakdown

of the appliance.

•

Do not use the appliance outdoors as ingress of

moisture or foreign objects inside the housing can

result in damage.

•

Before cleaning the appliance ensure that it is

unplugged and has cooled down. Follow the in

structions while cleaning the device.

I. PRIOR TO THE FIRST USE

Carefully take the appliance and its detachable parts out of the package.

Remove all wrapping materials and stickers except for the serial number identication

sticker!

After the appliance transportation or storage at low temperature keep it at room

temperature for at least two hours before plugging in.

Wipe the base of the appliance with a damp cloth, then let it dry. You may notice



malfunction.

You are advised to boil water in the kettle a few times before the rst use to get foreign

smell out and disinfect the appliance.

I I. OPERATION OF THE APPLIANCE

Fix the kettle with the base to the dry, solid, horizontal surface. Ensure the escaping

steam does not fall on wallpaper, decorative coats, electric units and other items, which

can be damaged by steam and high temperature.

Unwind the power cord to the desired length. Put the excessive part into the compart-

ment located on the base bottom. If necessary use the extender of a suitable power (no

less than 2.5 kW).

Remote control of the appliance via the Ready for Sky application

The Ready for Sky application allows you to control the appliance remotely in the near

area using your smartphone or tablet.

Turn on the Bluetooth function on the electric kettle (see the “Bluetooth Function”

section).

Remote control of the RK-M216S-E kettle is only possible if the Bluetooth function is

enabled.

2. Download the Ready for Sky application from the App Store or Google Play (de-

pending on the operating system of your device) to your smartphone or tablet.

Check the minimum supported version of the operating system on the ofcial website

of www.redmond.company or in the description of the application in the App Store and

Google Play.

3. Start the Ready for Sky application, create an account, and follow the on-screen

prompts.

4. In the standby mode, press and hold down the button for a few seconds, the

appliance will produce three short beeps. During the connection, the temperature

indicators will come on alternately. Once the connection is established, the ap-

pliance will produce three short beeps.

If the Bluetooth function is disabled or the connection is not established within

30seconds, the appliance will produce two short beeps and enter the standby mode.

5. To disable remote control, press and hold down the button until a long beep

is produced. When the connection fails, the temperature indicators will blink.

To ensure stable communication, the mobile device should be no more than 15 meters

away from the appliance.

Bluetooth function

To enable Bluetooth:

1. Remove the kettle from the base.

2. Press and hold down the buttons and to place the kettle back on the base.

3. The heating temperature indicators will come on for a few seconds and go off.

To disable Bluetooth:

1. Remove the kettle from the base.

2. Press and hold down the buttons and to place the kettle back on the base.

3. The heating temperature indicators will blink three times and go off.

Water Boiling

1. Remove the kettle from the base. Press the lid release button.

Pour water into the kettle, water level should be between the MIN and MAX points

on the scale. If water level is higher than MAX point, the boiling water may be

splashed. In case of water undersupply the appliance may be switched off in

advance.

ATTENTION! The unit is intended only for water heating and boiling.

3. Close the kettle lid and set the kettle to the base. The appliance will be oper-





Press the button . The appliance will produce a beep, the operation status

indicator will come on, the boiling process will start.

During the heating process, the operation status indicator will change its color.

6. At the end of the water heating, the appliance will produce three short beeps, the

heating indicator will turn off and the appliance will enter the standby mode (no in-

dication).

7. To interrupt the water heating process, press again or remove the kettle from the

base.

Press the buttons on the control panel only with your ngertips, as shown in gure

(page 4). Pressing with your nails can damage the buttons!

Water Heating Without Boiling

1. To heat water without boiling to 40, 55, 70, 85°C in the standby mode, select the

necessary temperature using (the indicator will come on next to the selected

value), press .

If the temperature in the kettle is higher than the adjusted heating temperature, three

audible signals will be heard after pressing , the appliance will switch to the Keep

Warm mode.

2. At the end of the water heating, the appliance will produce three short beeps

and switch to the Keep Warm mode (Keep Warm value indicator and operation

status indicator are on).

To interrupt the Keep Warm mode, press or remove the kettle from the base.

be automatically enabled. Water is not re-boiled. At the end of the process, the appliance

switches to the standby mode.

To enable the Keep Warm mode during boiling, select the necessary temperature using

(the indicator will come on next to the selected value). To disable the mode during

boiling, press , until the temperature indication goes off.

Disabling audible signals

To disable and re-enable audible signals in the standby mode, press and hold down for

several seconds.

When re-enabling the audible signals the appliance will produce a beep.

Safety Systems

• The kettle is equipped with the system of auto shut-off upon boiling or removing

from the base.

• In case of water shortage the automatic overheat protection turns off the kettle.

Let the appliance cool down, thereafter it will be ready for operation.

III. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Regularly wipe the kettle

housing and base with a damp cloth. Let the kettle and base dry thoroughly before use.

DO NOT immerse the appliance, its base, plug, or power cord in water or wash it under

running water!

DO NOT use a sponge or tissue with hard or abrasive surface, any chemically aggressive

substances, or any other agents which are not recommended for cleaning items that

come into contact with food.

While in operation scale deposits may form on both the heating element and the

housing inner walls of the appliance depending on water type being used. Use special

nonabrasive cleaning substances for kitchen utensils and appliances. Follow the prod-

uct application instructions. Thoroughly wash the appliance with water after cleaning

and wipe with a damp cloth.

ATTENTION! Before use the appliance, please, make sure that its electric contacts are dry.

Transportation and Storage

Before repeated operation or storage completely dry all parts of the appliance. Store the as-

sembled appliance in a dry, ventilated place away from heating appliances and direct sunlight.

During transportation and storage, do not expose the device to mechanical stress, that

may lead to damage of the device and/or violation of the package integrity.

I. AVANT DE PROCEDER A L’UTILISATION

Sortez l’appareil avec précaution, éliminez tous les entoilages et les étiquettes publi-

citaires.

Gardez sur place toutes les étiquettes prémonitoires, les étiquettes-indicateurs (si elles

sont présentes) et la plaque avec le numéro de série de l’appareil xée sur son boîtier!

Après le transport ou la conservation de l’appareil dans des conditions de basses

températures il est nécessaire de le laisser à la température ambiante au moins 2heures

avant le démarrage prévu.

L’odeur étrangère apparue à la première utilisation n’est pas une conséquence de la

panne de l’appareil.

Avant de procéder à l’utilisation il est conseillé par le producteur de faire bouillir l’eau

dans la bouilloire, an d’éliminer des odeurs éventuelles et de désinfecter l’appareil.

I I. LE FONCTIONNEMENT DE L’APPAREIL

Fixer la bouilloire avec la base à la surface sèche, solide, horizontale. Assurez — vous

que la vapeur qui s’échappe ne tombe pas sur le papier peint, les manteaux décoratifs,

les unités électriques et d’autres éléments, qui peuvent être endommagés par la vapeur

et la température élevée.

Déroulez le cordon d’alimentation à la longueur désirée. Mettez la partie excessive dans

le compartiment situé sur le fond de base. Si nécessaire, utiliser le prolongateur d’une



Vériez la version minimale supportée du système d’exploitation sur le site ofciel de

www.redmond.company ou dans la description de l’application dans App Store et

Google Play.

3. Démarrez L’application Ready for Sky, créez un compte et suivez les instructions

à l’écran.

4. En mode veille, appuyez et maintenez le bouton pendant quelques secondes,

l’appareil se produire trois bips courts. Pendant la connexion, les indicateurs de

température s’allumeront alternativement. Une fois la connexion établie, l’appa-

reil produira trois petits bips.

Si la fonction Bluetooth est désactivée ou si la connexion n’est pas établie dans les

30 secondes, l’appareil produira deux courts bips et entrera en mode veille.

5. Pour désactiver la télécommande, appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton

jusqu’à ce qu’un long bip soit produit. Lorsque la connexion échoue, les indicateurs

de température clignote.

Pour assurer une communication stable, l’appareil mobile ne doit pas se trouver à plus

de 15 mètres de l’appareil.





Pour activer Bluetooth:

Pour désactiver Bluetooth:

Les indicateurs de température de chauffage clignoteront trois fois et s’éteindront.

Retirez la bouilloire de la base. Appuyez sur le bouton de déverrouillage du

couvercle.

2. Versez l’eau dans la bouilloire, le niveau de l’eau doit être entre les points MIN et

MAX sur l’échelle. Si le niveau d’eau est supérieur à MAX point, l’eau bouillante peut

être éclaboussée. D’eau en cas de pénurie de l’appareil peut être éteint à l’avance.

ATTENTION! L’unité est destinée uniquement au chauffage et à l’ébullition de l’eau.

3. Fermer le couvercle de la marmite et le chaudron à la base. L’appareil sera utili-



dommager les boutons!

Chauffage De L’Eau Sans Ébullition

Pour chauffer l’eau sans faire bouillir jusqu’à 40, 55, 70, 85°C en mode veille,

sélectionnez la température nécessaire en utilisant 

 .

Si la température dans la bouilloire est supérieure à la température de chauffage

ajustée, trois signaux sonores seront entendus après avoir appuyé sur , l’appareil

passera en mode Keep Warm.

désactiver le mode pendant l’ébullition, appuyez sur , jusqu’à ce que l’indication de

température s’éteint.

Désactivation des signaux sonores

Pour désactiver et réactiver les signaux sonores en mode veille, Appuyez et maintenez

enfoncé pendant plusieurs secondes.

Lorsqu’on réactive les signaux sonores, l’appareil émet un bip.

Les Systèmes De Sécurité

• La bouilloire est équipée avec le système d’arrêt automatique dès l’ébullition ou

la suppression de la base.

• En cas de pénurie d’eau automatique protection contre la surchauffe d’éteindre

la bouilloire. Laisser refroidir l’appareil, puis il sera prêt à fonctionner.

III. LE NETTOYAGE ET L’ENTRETIEN

Avant de nettoyer, débranchez l’appareil et laissez refroidir. Essuyez régulièrement le

corps et la base de la bouilloire avec un chiffon humide. Laisser sécher complètement

la bouilloire et la base avant utilisation.

Ne pas immerger l’appareil, sa base, son bouchon ou son cordon d’alimentation dans

de l’eau ou le laver sous l’eau courante!

Ne pas utiliser d’éponge ou de tissu à surface dure ou abrasive, de substances chimi-

quement agressives ou d’autres agents qui ne sont pas recommandés pour le nettoyage

des articles qui entrent en contact avec les aliments.

Pendant l’opération, des dépôts d’écailles peuvent se former sur l’élément chauffant et

les parois intérieures du logement de l’appareil, selon le type d’eau utilisé. Utilisez des

produits nettoyants spéciaux non abrasifs pour les ustensiles et les appareils de cuisine.

Suivez les instructions d’application du produit. Laver soigneusement l’appareil à l’eau

après le nettoyage et essuyer avec un chiffon humide.

ATTENTION! Avant d’utiliser l’appareil, s’il vous plaît, assurez-vous que ses contacts

électriques sont secs.

Transport et Entreposage

Avant le stockage et la réutilisation, nettoyez et séchez complètement toutes les parties

de l’appareil. Rangez l’appareil dans un endroit sec et bien aéré, loin des appareils de

chauffage et de la lumière du soleil.

Lors du transport et du stockage, il n’est pas conseillé d’exposer l’appareil à des

contraintes mécaniques qui peuvent causer des dommages à l’appareil et/ou la dété-

rioration de l’intégrité de l’emballage.

Il est nécessaire de préserver l’emballage de l’appareil de l’eau et autres liquides.

Betrieb nicht mit bloßen Körperteilen berüh-

ren. Um Verbrennungen mit dem Heißdampf

zu vermeiden, bücken Sie nie über das Gerät

beim Öffnen der Deckel.

Das Gerät ist nur bestimmungsgemäß zu gebrau-

chen. Abweichender Gebrauch des Gerätes, als es

in dieser Anleitung vorgeschrieben ist, gilt als eine

bestimmungswidrige Verwendung.

Der Wasserbehälter darf nur mit dem Sockel aus

dem Lieferumfang betrieben werden.

•

Zuleitung nicht durch die Türöffnungen oder über Wär-

mequellen ziehen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich das

Netzkabel nicht verdreht bzw. knickt, nicht über schar-

fe Gegenstände, Ecken und Möbelkanten gezogen wird.

VORSICHT: zufällige Beschädigung des Netz-

kabels kann die Störungen verursachen, auf

die sich die Garantie nicht erstreckt, sowie

zum Stromschlag führen. Die beschädigte An-

schlussleitung muss umgehend durch den

Kundendienst ersetzt werden.

Das Gerät mit Behältnis nicht auf unstabile und

I. VOR DEM GEBRAUCH

Das Produckt vorsichtig auspacken, alle Verpackungsmaterialien und Werbeaufkleber

entfernen.

Den Aufkleber mit Seriennummer und Warnaufkleber bleiben lassen!

Nach Transport bzw. Lagerung bei tiefen Temperaturen das Gerät bei Raumtemperatur

für mindestens 2 Stunden halten, bevor es eingeschaltet wird.

Das Gerätegehäuse mit feuchtem Tuch abwischen, dann trocken abwischen. Der Beige-

ruch beim ersten Gebrauch ist kein Defekt des Gerätes.

Der Hersteller empehlt, einige Kochfüllungen vor dem ersten Gebrauch wegzuschüt-

ten, um eventuelle Beigerüche zu entfernen und das Gerät zu desinzieren.

I I. BEDIENUNG DES GERÄTES

Befestigen Sie den Wasserkocher mit der Basis an der trockenen, festen, horizontalen

-

rative Mäntel, Elektrogeräte und andere Gegenstände fällt, die durch Dampf und hohe

Temperatur beschädigt werden können.

Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel auf die gewünschte Länge ab. Legen Sie den übermäßigen

Teil in das Fach auf dem Boden der Basis. Verwenden Sie bei Bedarf den Verlängerungs-

kabel einer geeigneten Leistung (nicht weniger als 2,5 kW).

Fernbedienung des Geräts über die Ready for Sky-Anwendung

Die Ready for Sky-Anwendung ermöglicht es Ihnen, das Gerät fern in der Nähe mit

Ihrem smartphone oder tablet zu Steuern.

Schalten Sie die Bluetooth-Funktion am Wasserkocher ein (siehe Abschnitt „Blue-

tooth-Funktion“).

Die Fernbedienung des RK-M216S-E kettle ist nur möglich, wenn die Bluetooth-Funk-

tion aktiviert ist.

2. Laden Sie die Ready for Sky-Anwendung aus dem App Store oder Google Play (ab-

hängig vom Betriebssystem Ihres Geräts) auf Ihr smartphone oder tablet herunter.

Überprüfen Sie die minimal unterstützte version des Betriebssystems auf der ofziellen

website von www.redmond.company oder in der Beschreibung der Anwendung im App

Store und Google Play.

Starten Sie die Ready for Sky-Anwendung, erstellen Sie ein Konto und Folgen Sie

den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.

Im standby-Modus drücken und halten Sie die Taste für einige Sekunden

gedrückt, das Gerät erzeugt drei kurze Pieptöne. Während der Verbindung werden

die temperaturindikatoren abwechselnd eingeschaltet. Sobald die Verbindung

hergestellt ist, erzeugt das Gerät drei kurze Pieptöne.

Wenn die Bluetooth-Funktion deaktiviert ist oder die Verbindung nicht innerhalb von

30 Sekunden hergestellt ist, erzeugt das Gerät zwei kurze Pieptöne und tritt in den

standby-Modus.

5. Um die Fernbedienung zu deaktivieren, drücken und halten Sie die Taste , bis

ein langer Signalton erzeugt wird. Wenn die Verbindung fehlschlägt, blinkt die

Temperaturanzeige.

Um eine stabile Kommunikation zu gewährleisten, sollte das mobile Gerät nicht mehr

als 15 Meter vom Gerät entfernt sein.

Bluetooth-Funktion

So aktivieren Sie Bluetooth:

1. Entfernen Sie den Wasserkocher von der Basis.

Drücken und halten Sie die Tasten und gedrückt, um den Wasserkocher

wieder auf den sockel zu stellen.

Die Heiztemperatur-Indikatoren werden für ein paar Sekunden eingeschaltet und

gehen aus.

So deaktivieren Sie Bluetooth:

1. Entfernen Sie den Wasserkocher von der Basis.

Drücken und halten Sie die Tasten und gedrückt, um den Wasserkocher

wieder auf den sockel zu stellen.

3. Die Heiztemperatur-Indikatoren blinken dreimal und gehen aus.
