Introduction

Please make sure you familiarise yourself

fully with the way the device works before

you use it for the ﬁrst time and that you

understand how to handle electrical power tools

correctly. Further details can be found in the operating

instructions. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If

you pass the device on to anyone else, please ensure

that you also pass on all the documentation.



Intended utilisation

The appliance is suitable for the dry sanding and

buﬃng of wood, metal and paint. Any other uses,

and modiﬁcations to the appliance, are deemed to

be improper usage and may result in serious physi-

cal injury. The manufacturer will not accept liability

for loss or damage arising from improper use.

This appliance is not intended for commercial ap-

plications.



The mains plug on the device must match

plugs and matching sockets reduce the risk of

electric shock.

b) Avoid touching earthed surfaces such

as pipes, radiators, ovens and refrig-

erators with any part of your body.

There is an increased risk of electric shock if

your body is earthed

c) Keep the device away from rain or

moisture. Water entering an electrical device

increases the risk of electric shock.

any purpose for which it was

not intended, e.g. to carry the

device. Damaged or tangled mains leads

e) When working outdoors with an

electrical power tool always use ex-

tension cables that are also approved

for use outdoors. The use of an extension

cable suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk

of electric shock.

f) Use a residual current device (RCD)

for protection if operating the electri-

cal power tool in a moist environment

is unavoidable. The use of an RCD reduces

the risk of electric shock.

3. Personal safety

a) Remain alert at all times, watch what

you are doing and always proceed

with caution. Do not use the device if

you are tired or under the influence of

drugs, alcohol or medication. One mo

ment

of carelessness when using the device can lead

to serious injury.

Wear personal protective

equipment and always wear

safety glasses. The wearing of

personal protective equipment such as dust

masks, non-slip safety shoes, safety helmets or

ear protectors, appropriate to the type of elec-

trical power tool used and work undertaken,

reduces the risk of injury.

c) Avoid unintentional operation of the

device. Check that the electrical power

tool is switched off before you connect

it to the mains, pick it up or carry it.

Accidents can happen if you carry the device

with your ﬁnger on the ON / OFF switch or with

the device switched on.

d) Remove any setting tools or spanners

before you switch the device on. A tool

or spanner left attached to a rotating part of a

device can lead to injury.

e) Avoid placing your body in an unnat-

ural position. Keep proper footing and

balance at all times. By doing this you will

be in a better position to control the device in

unforeseen circumstances.

f) Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear

loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your

hair, clothing and gloves clear of mov-

ing parts. Loose clothing, jewellery or long

hair can become trapped in moving parts.

g) If vacuum dust extraction and collection

devices are fitted do not forget to

check

that they are properly connected and

correctly used. The use of these devices

reduces the hazard presented by dust.

Careful handling and use

of electrical power tools

a) Do not overload the device. Always

use an electrical power tool that is

intended for the task you are under-

taking. By using the right electrical power

tool for the job you will work more safely and

achieve a better result.

b) Do not use an electrical power tool if

its switch is defective. An electrical power

tool that can no longer be switched on and oﬀ

is dangerous and must be repaired.

c) Pull the mains plug from the socket

before you make any adjustments to

the device, change accessories or when

the device is put away. This precaution is

intended to prevent you from unintentionally

starting the device.

d) When not in use always ensure that

electrical power tools are kept out of

reach of children. Do not let anyone use

the device if he or she is not familiar

with it or has not read the instructions

and advice. Electrical power tools are dan-

gerous when they are used by inexperienced

people.

e) Look after the device carefully. Check

that moving parts are working prop-

erly and move freely. Check for any

parts that are broken or damaged

enough to detrimentally affect the

functioning of the device. Have dam-

aged parts repaired before you use

the device. Many accidents have their origins

in poorly maintained electrical power tools.

f) Keep cutting tools clean and sharp.

Carefully maintained cutting tools with sharp

cutting edges are less likely to jam and are

easier to control.

g) Use the electrical power tool, accesso-

ries, inserted tools etc. in accordance

with these instructions and advice, and

the stipulations drawn up for this par-

ticular type of device. In doing this, take

into account the working conditions

and the task in hand. The use of electrical

power tools for purposes other than those in-

tended can lead to dangerous situations.

Safety advice relating

speciﬁcally to random

orbital sanders

 When working in outside areas, pro-

tect yourself against leakage current

by fitting an FI protection switch with

a max. activation rating of 30 mA.

 Use exclusively an extension cable

that is certified for use outdoors

 Secure the workpiece firmly. Use

clamps or a vice to ﬁrmly hold the workpiece.

This results in a safer grip than with your hand.

 Under no circumstances should you

place your hands next to or in front of

the appliance or on the area to be

worked, you could be seriously injured if you

slip or stumble.

 In event of danger, immediately re-

move the power plug from the socket.

 Always run the power cable away

from the appliance to the rear.

 Ensure that nobody is endangered by

flying sparks. Remove combustible materials

from the immediate vicinity. Flying sparks are pro-

duced when metals are ground.



CAUTION! DANGER OF FIRE!

Ensure that the material being

ground and the grinder itself

do not overheat. Always empty the dust

container before taking a break from work.

Grinding dust in the dust sack, microﬁlter, paper

sack (or in the ﬁlter sack or ﬁlter of the vacuum

cleaner) can ignite automatically under unfa-

vour-able conditions such as ﬂying sparks when

metal is being ground. There is a par-ticular

hazard if the grinding dust is mixed with paint or

polyurethane residues or other chemical sub-

stances and the material being ground is hot

after being worked on for a prolonged period.

WARNING!

TOXIC VAPOURS!

The working of materials that can produce

harmful / toxic dusts presents a health risk for

the operator and for people located in the

close vicinity.

Wear safety glasses and a

dust protection mask!

 When working for extended periods

on wood and, in particular, materials

that produce dusts that are hazardous

to health, connect the appliance to an

appropriate external suction device.

 Provide for sufficient ventilation when

working plastics, varnishes and paints.

 Do not soak materials or surfaces to

be worked with liquids containing

solvents.

 The electric tool must only be used for

dry grinding. The penetration of water into

the electric device increases the risk of an elec-

tric shock.

 Avoid sanding lead-based paints or

other materials that are hazardous to

health.

 Material containing asbestos may not

be worked. Asbestos is considered to be a

carcinogen.

 Avoid contact with the moving sand-

ing sheet.

 Use the appliance only with a sanding

sheet in place.

 Never use the appliance for purposes

other than those intended and only

with original components / accessories.

 Introduce the appliance to the work

piece with it switched on. On task com-

pletion, lift the appliance from the work piece

and then switch it oﬀ.

 Permit the switched off appliance to

come to a complete standstill before

putting it down.

 The appliance must always be kept

clean, dry and free of oil or grease.

 Keep your workplace clean. Material

mixtures are particularly dangerous. Light met-

al dust can burn or explode.

 Do not use the electric tool with a

damaged lead. Do not touch the damaged

lead and remove the mains plug if the lead be-

comes damaged while you are work-ing with

the device. Damaged leads increase the risk of

an electric shock.



Original accessories / tools

 Use only the accessories detailed in

the operating instructions. The use of in-

serted tools or accessories other than those

recommended in the operating instructions

could lead to you suﬀering an injury.



Selecting the Grinding Disc

Metal Removal and Surface:

The rate of metal removal and the surface quality

are determined by the grain size of the grinding disc.

 lease note that corresponding grinding discs

with diﬀerent grain sizes should be used for

processing diﬀerent materials.



Changing sanding sheets

WARNING!

RISK OF INJURY! Before

carrying out work on the appliance, always re-

move the plug from the power socket.

The rotary sander is ﬁtted with a velcro rapid attach-

ment, making possible a quick and easy exchange

of sanding sheets.

 Lift the grinding disc

at the side and pull it oﬀ

from the backing pad

in order to remove it.

Note: Before securing a new sanding sheet

remove all dust and dirt from the sander plate

 Ensure that the openings in the sanding sheet

concur with the boreholes of the sanding plate



Dust / Swarf Removal by Suction

 Please note the “Safety instructions” section.

Removal by Suction with Dust Collector:

 Push the dust collector

completely onto the

device.

 In order to empty the dust collector

pull it

oﬀ the device.

Note: Empty the dust collector

in good

time and regularly in order to ensure the opti-

mum removal of dust by suction.

External Exhaust Suction (see Illustration A):

Connection:

 Push the adapter for external exhaust suction

on to the exhaust nozzle

and turn it clock-

wise to ﬁx it in place. If necessary, use the re-

ducing piece

by pushing it into the adapter

for external exhaust suction

 Push the hose of an approved suction device

(e.g. a workshop vacuum cleaner) on to the

adapter for external exhaust suction

, using

the reducing piece if necessary

Removal:

 Pull the hose of the suction device oﬀ the

adapter for external exhaust suc-tion

 Turn the adapter for external exhaust suction

in an anticlockwise direction and pull it oﬀ with

the reducing piece

if necessary.



Commissioning



Switching on and oﬀ

Note! Always switch the rotary sander on before

applying it to the material to be worked, then make

contact with it.

When operating the device you can select between

intermittent or continuous operation mode:

To switch on intermittent operation mode:

 Press the ON / OFF switch

To switch off intermittent operation mode:

 Release the ON / OFF switch

Switching on continuous operation:

 Press the ON / OFF switch

, keep it pressed

down and press the locking button

Switching off after sustained operation:

 Press the ON / OFF switch

and then release it.



Working instructions

 Wait until the electric tool has stopped moving

before you put it down.



Grinding Surfaces

 Turn the electric tool on, place the entire grinding

surface on the substrate that is to be worked

on and move it with moderate pressure across

the workpiece (see Illustration B, C, D).

Note: The rate of metal removal and the

grinding pattern are essentially determined by

the grinding disc that has been selected and

the grinding pressure. Only grind-ing discs that

are in perfect condition will provide good

grinding performance.

 Please ensure that the grinding pressure is

even. An excessive increase in the grinding

pressure leads not only to a higher rate of met-

al removal, but also greater wear and tear on

the grinding disc.

 You should not use a grinding disc that has

been used for working metal for other materials.



Maintenance and Cleaning

WARNING!

RISK OF INJURY! Before

carrying out work on the appliance, always remove

the plug from the power socket.

The rotary sander is maintenance free.

 Clean the appliance regularly, preferably direct-

ly on completion of the task.

 Use a dry cloth to clean the device. Under no

circumstances should you use petrol, solvent or

cleaners which attack plastic.

 Keep the ventilation openings clear at all times.



Remove dust clinging to the sander



The warranty for this appliance is for 3

years from the date of purchase. The ap-

pliance has been manufactured with care

and meticulously examined before deliv-

ery. Please retain your receipt as proof

of purchase. In the event of a warranty

claim, please make contact by telephone

with our Service Department. Only in this

way can a post-free despatch for your

goods be assured.

The warranty covers only claims for material and

maufacturing defects, but not for transport damage,

for wearing parts or for damage to fragile compo-

nents, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for pri-

te use only and is not intended for commercial use.

The warranty is void in the case of abusive and im-

proper handling, use of force and internal tamper-

ing not carried out by our authorized service branch.

U sigurnosnim uputa rabljeni izraz „električni alat“

odnosi se na električne uređaje sa mrežnim pogo-

nom (sa mrežnim kabelom) i na električni alat sa

akumula

torskim pogonom (bez mrežnog kabela).

Sigurnost na radnom mjestu

a) Vodite uvijek računa o tome, da Vaše

radno mjesto bude čisto i dobro os-

vjetljeno. Nered i ne osvjetljeno područje

rada, može uzrokovati nezgode.

Električna sigurnost

a) Mrežni utikač uređaja mora odgova-

rati utičnici. Utikač se ni na kakav

način ne smije mijenjati. Ne koristite

adapterske utičnice zajedno s zaštitno

uzemljenim uređajima. Neizmijenjeni

utikači i odgovarajuće utičnice smanjuju rizik

električnog udara.

b) Izbjegavajte dodir tijela s uzemljenim

površinama kao što su cijevi, radijato-

ri, pećnice i hladnjaci. Postoji povećana

opasnost od električnog udara ukoliko je vaše

tijelo uzemljeno.

c) Uređaj držite podalje od kiše i vlage.

Prodiranje vode u unutrašnjost uređaja pove-

ćava opasnost električnog udara.

Ne koristite kabel u neke

druge svrhe, npr. za nošenje

uređaja, vješanje uređaja ili

za izvlačenje utikača iz utičnice. Kabel

držite podalje od topline, ulja, oštrih

rubova i pokretnih dijelova uređaja.

Oštećeni ili spetljani kabel ili utikač povećava

rizik električnog udara.

e) Kod rada na otvorenome koristite

samo produžni kabel koji je dozvoljen

za korištenje na otvorenome. Upotreba

produžnog kabla namijenjenog za korištenje

na otvorenome smanjuje rizik električnog udara.

f) Ako je korištenje električnog alata u

vlažnim prostorima neizbježno, rabite

zaštitnu strujnu sklopku. Korištenje zaštit-

ne strujne sklopke, smanjuje rizik strujnog udara.

3. Sigurnost osoba

a) Budite uvijek pozorni, vodite računa

o tome što radite i razumno pristupite

radu s električnim alatom. Ne rabite

stroj, ako ste umorni ili pod utjecajem

droga, alkohola ili lijekova. Jedan trenu

tak

nepažnje za vrijeme korištenja stroja, može

uzrokovati teške ozljede.

Nosite osobnu zaštitnu opre-

mu i uvijek zaštitne očale.

Korištenje osobne zaštitne opreme,

kao maske za prašinu, protuklizne zaštitne

cipele, zaštitnu kacigu ili štitnik za uši, ovisno o

vrsti i uporabi električnog alata, smanjuje rizik

od ozljeda.

c) Spriječite slučajno uključenje. Uvjerite

se u to, da je električni alat isključen,

prije uključenja na struju, podizanja

ili nošenja. Ako pri nošenju uređaja držite

prst na sklopki za UKLJUČENJE / ISKLJUČENJE

ili ako je uređaj uključen, prijeti opasnost od

nezgode.

d) Prije uključenja stroja, uklonite alat

za podešavanje ili vijčani ključ. Alat ili

ključ, koji se nalazi u rotirajućem dijelu stroja,

može prouzročiti ozljede.

e) Izbjegavajte nenaravan polažaj tijela.

Vodite računa o tome da sigurno

stojite na tlu i održavate vlastitu rav-

notežu. Na taj način bolje možete kontrolira-

ti uređaj, posebno u neočekivanim situacijama.

f) Nosite prikladnu odjeću. Ne nosite

široku odjeću ili nakit. Držite kosu,

odjeću i rukavice dalje od pomičnih

dijelova. Opuštena odjeća, nakit ili duga kosa

mogu biti zahvaćeni od pomičnih dijelova.

g) Ako se montira uređaje za usisavanje

i prihvaćanje prašine, uvjerite se u

to da su priključeni i da se pravilno

koriste. Uporaba tih uređaja, smanjuje

ugrožavanje od prašine.

Pažljivo postupanje s

električnim uređajima i

njihovo korištenje

a) Nemojte uređaj preopterećivati.

Koristite onaj električni uređaj koji

odgovara za Vaš rad. S odgovarajućim

električnim uređajem bolje i sigurnije ćete radi-

ti u navedenom području rada.

b) Ne koristite električni uređaj s neisprav-

nim prekidačem. Električni uređaj koji se više

ne može uključiti i isključiti opasan je i treba

ga dati popraviti.

c) Izvucite utikač iz utičnice, prije namje-

štanja uređaja, zamjene dijelova

opreme ili odlaganja uređaja. Ova

sigurnosna mjera spriječava slučajno

pokretanje električnog alata. Ova mje-

ra opreza spriječava nenamjerno pokretanje

uređaja.

d) Čuvajte ne korišteni električni uređaj

tako da nije na dohvatu djeci. Ne

dopustite da uređaj koriste osobe

koje s njim nisu upoznate ili koje nisu

pročitale upute. Električni alati su opasni

kada ih korite osobe bez iskustva.

e) Pažljivo održavajte uređaj. Kontroli-

rajte da li pokretni dijelovi uređaja

besprijekorno funkcioniraju i da ne

zapinju, da dijelovi nisu slomljeni ili

tako oštećeni da je funkcija uređaja

upitna. Molimo da oštećene dijelove

dadete popraviti prije korištenja ure-

đaja. Brojne nesreće imaju uzrok zbog loše

održavanih električnih alata.

f) Alat za rezanje treba biti oštar i čist.

Brižljivo njegovani alat za rezanje sa oštrim

reznim rubovima, manje zaglavi i jednostavniji

je za rukovanje.

g) Rabite električni alat, opremu i ugrad-

ni alat, itd. sukladno ovim uputama i

na način kako je propisano za ovaj

posebni tip uređaja. Pri tome uzmite

u obzir radne uvjete i rad koji se izvodi.

Uporaba električnog alata za drugu osim

predviđene primjene, može uzrokovati opasne

situacije.

Za dotični uređaj karakte-

ristične sigurnosne upute

za ekscentričnu brusilicu

 Uređaj priključite, kada radite vani,

preko FI-zaštitne sklopke sa aktivacij-

skom strujom od maksimalno 30 mA.

 Koristite samo produžni kabel koji je

dozvoljen za korištenje na otvoreno

me.

 Osigurajte predmet rada. Koristite ure-

đaje za stezanje / škripac, kako biste učvrstili

predmet obrade. Na taj način on će imati čvršći

oslonac nego u ruci.

 Niukom slučaju se ne oslonite rukom

pokraj ili ispred uređaja i površine za

obradu, jer u slučaju otklizavanja postoji opa-

snost od ozljede.

 U slučaju opasnosti neizostavno izvu-

cite mrežni utikač iz utičnice.

 Mrežni kabel uvijek vodite prema na-

trag od uređaja.

 Vodite računa o tome, da ne ugroža-

vate druge osobe letećim iskrama.

Odstranite gorive materijale, koji se nalaze u

blizini. Tijekom brušenja metala stvaraju se iskre.



OPREZ! OPASNOST OD PO-

ŽARA! Spriječavajte pregrija-

vanje brusilice kao i predmeta

koje brusite. Prije radnih stanki, ispraznite

spremnik za prašinu. Brusna prašina u vreći za

prašinu, mikroﬁlter, papirnata vreća (ili ﬁlterska

vreća tj. ﬁlter usisavača) mogu se zapaliti u ne-

povoljnim okolnostima, kao npr. od iskri tijekom

brušenja metala. Posebna opasnost prijeti, ako

je brusna prašina pomiješana sa ostatcima

laka, poliuretana ili drugim kemičkim tvarima,

te ako je predmet kojeg se brusi nakon dugog

obrađivanja već znatno zagrijan.

UPOZORENJE!

TROVNA ISPARENJA!

Obrađivanje štetnih/otrovnih prašina predstav-

lja ugrožavanje zdravlja osobe koja rukuje sa

uređajem, kao i osoba koje se nalaze u blizini.

Nosite zaštitne naočale i

masku za zaštitu od prašine

 U slučaju dugotrajnije obrade drveta,

a posebno kada obrađujete materijale

kod kojih nastaju štetne prašine, ure-

đaj priključite na prikladan eksterni

sustav za usisavanje prašine.

 Prilikom obrade plastike, boja, lakova

itd.osigurajte dostatnu ventilaciju.

 Materijale ili površine, koje obrađuje-

te, ne natopite tekućinama koje sadr-

že otapala.

 Rabite električki alat isključivo za

suho brušenje. Prodiranje vode u električni

uređaj povećava rizik od strujnog udara.

 Izbjegavajte brušenje boja sa sadrža-

jem olova ili drugih materijala štetnih

po zdravlje.

 Materijal sa sadržajem azbesta ne

smije biti obrađivan. Azbest se smatra

kancerogenim.

 Izbjegavajte kontakt sa listom za bru-

šenje, dok je u pokretu.

 Uređaj koristite samo sa montiranim

listom za brušenje.

 Uređaj nikada ne koristite za druge

namjene, i uvijek samo sa originalnim

dijelovima / originalnom opremom.



Uređaj prislonite na površinu predmeta

obrade samo u uključenom stanju.

Uređaj nakon obrade odignite sa predmeta

obrade, te ga zatim isključite.

 Isključeni uređaj pustite da se potpu-

no umiri, prije nego što ga odlažete.

 Uređaj uvijek mora biti čist, suh i na

njemu ne smije biti ulje ili mast za

podmazivanje.

 Održavajte Vaše radno mjesto čisto.

Miješavine materijala su posebno opasne. Pra-

šina od lakih metala može gorijeti ili eksplodirati.

 Ne rabite električni alata s oštećenim

kabelom. Ne dodirujte oštećeni kabel i ne

povlačite utikač, ako se kabel ošteti tijekom rada.

Oštećeni kablovi povećavaju rizik od strujnog

udara.

tama za korištenje. Upotreba drugačijeg

pribora ili dodatnih uređaja nego što su opisan

u uputama za korištenje mogu dovesti do ozlje-

Razgradnja i površina:

Učinak razgradnje i kakvoću površine određuje

jačina zrna brusnog lista.

 Molimo vodite računa o tome, da za obradu

različitih materijala rabite odgovarajuće brusne

listove s različitom granulacijom.



Zamjena lista za brušenje

UPOZORENJE!

OPASNOST OD OZ-

LJEDA! Prije nego što izvodite radove na uređaju,

uvijek izvucite mrežni utikač iz utičnice.

Ekscentarska brusilica raspolaže držačem na čičak,

koji omogućava brzu i jednostavnu zamjenu listova

 Za pražnjenje naprave za prihvat prašine

otklonite istu s uređaja.

UPUTA: Ispraznite napravu za prihvat prašine

pravovremeno i redovito, kako bi osigurali

optimalni usis prašine.

 Gurnite adapter za vanjski usis

na ispušni

i okrenite ga prema desno kako

kontakta sa materijalom za obradu, a tek zatim je

postavite na predmet obrade. Za vrijeme rada ure-

đaja, možete birati između kratkog i trajnog pogona:

Brušenje površina

 Uključite električni alat, položite ga cijelom bru-

snom površinom na podlogu koju želite obrađi-

vati i mičite ga umjerenim tlakom preko izradka

(vidite prikaz B, C, D).

UPUTA: Učinak razgradnje i izgled izbruska

uglavnom su određeni odabirom brusnog lista i

tlačne sile. Isključivo besprijekorni brusni listovi

pridonose dobrom učinku brušenja.

 Vodite računa o ravnomjernoj tlačnoj sili. Pre-

komjerna tlačna sila ne vodi do povećanja bru-

snog učinka, već povećava habanje brusnog lista.

 Ne rabite brusni list, s kojim ste obrađivali metal,

za obradu drugih materijala.



Održavanje i čišćenje

UPOZORENJE!

OPASNOST OD OZ-

LJEDA! Prije nego što izvodite radove na uređaju,

uvijek izvucite mrežni utikač iz utičnice.

Ekscentarska brusilica je samoodržavajuća.

 Čistite uređaj u redovnim vremenskim

razmacima, neposredno nakon završetka rada.

 Za čišćenje uređaja rabite suhu krpu i ni u kojem

slučaju benzin, otapala ili sredstva za čišćenje,

koja nagrizaju plastiku.

 Osigurajte da su ventilacijski otvori uvijek slo-

bodni.



Jamstveni list

Na ovaj uređaj vrijedi jamstvo u trajanju

od 3 godine od datuma kupovine. Uređaj

je pažljivo proizveden i prije isporuke

brižljivo kontroliran. Molimo sačuvajte

blagajnički račun kao dokaz o kupnji.

Molimo da se u slučaju ostvarivanja prava

na jamstvo telefonski povežete sa Vašom

servisnom ispostavom. Samo na taj način

vaša roba može biti besplatno uručena.

Jamstvo vrijedi samo za greške materijala i izrade, a

ne za transportne štete, potrošne dijelove ili oštećenja

lomljivih dijelova, na primjer prekidača ili baterija.

Proizvod je namijenjen isključivo za privatnu, a ne

za gospodarstvenu uporabu.

U slučaju nestručnog rukovanja, rukovanja protiv-

nog namjeni uređaja, primjene sile i zahvata, koji

nisu izvršeni od strane našeg ovlaštenog servisnog

predstavništva, važenje jamstva prestaje. Vaša za-

konska prava ovim jamstvom ostaju netaknuta.

Jamstveni rok se ne produžava uslijed ostvarivanja

prava na jamstvo. To vrijedi i za zamijenjene i po-

pravljene dijelove. Eventualno već prilikom kupovine

prisutna oštećenja i nedostaci moraju biti javljena

neposredno nakon raspakiranja, ali najkasnije dva

dana nakon datuma kupovine. Popravke vršene nakon

isteka jamstvenog roka podliježu obavezi plaćanja.
