following pages and introduce you to all its functions and uses.

SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read this manual carefully before use and

keep it for future reference.

1. This appliance is intended for use by children 8 years of age

and older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,

provided they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance in a safe manner and

understand the potential hazards.

2. Children must not play with the device.

3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by

children unless they are 8 years old and under supervision.

4. Children under the age of 8 must be kept out of the reach

of the appliance and its power supply.

5. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by

the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied

persons in order to avoid a dangerous situation.

6. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the

appliance, its power supply, or the power plug in water or

any other liquid.

7. This appliance is intended for domestic and indoor use. Do

not use it outdoors.

8. Clean surfaces that come into contact with food according

to the instructions in this manual.

9. This appliance is not intended for operation via an external

timer or remote control.

10. Before connecting the plug to the electrical outlet, make sure that the

voltage indicated on the type plate of the appliance corresponds to the

voltage in your power outlet.

11. Plug the power cord into a properly grounded electrical outlet. We

recommend connecting the appliance to a separate electrical circuit. Do

not use extension cables.

12. Place the appliance on a at, dry and solid surface. Do not place

the appliance near re or other heat sources. Place the appliance in

sufcient distance from heat - sensitive surfaces or objects or those that

could catch re, such as curtains, drapes, etc.

13. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the counter or table. Do

not let the power cord touch the electric or gas plate or any hot surface.

14. Use the appliance only with the supplied accessories. The use of

accessories that are not intended for this appliance or are not specied

by the manufacturer as suitable may cause a dangerous situation.

15. Always make sure that the appliance is properly assembled before

connecting it to the power supply.

16. Do not touch the appliance or the power supply with wet or damp hands.

17. Clean the appliance after each use. Always allow the appliance to cool

completely before cleaning it. Do not use scouring pads or harsh cleaners

to avoid damaging the non-stick nish.

18. Unplug the power cord of the appliance from the outlet and from the

appliance when not in use, if you leaving it unattended, before cleaning,

moving, assembling or disassembling.

19. Before replacing the plates, always make sure that the power supply is

disconnected from electrical outlet. Always replace both plates in the

same time. Do not combine replaceable boards.

20. Always use wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensils when removing

nished products from the appliance. Do not use metal utensils, knives,

forks, etc., as this may scratch and damage the non-stick nish of the

removable plates.

21. If the nished product burns to the plate, switch off the appliance and

wait for it to cool down. Then use a wooden or heat-resistant plastic tool

to remove the baked product from the plate.

22. It is forbidden to use a damaged appliance, appliance with a damaged

replaceable plate, power cord or plug.

23. Do not cover the appliance while it is in operation.

24. Always disconnect the power cord by grasping the plug, not by pulling

on the power cord.

USE

Before rst use

1. Remove the appliance and its accessories from the packaging. Before disposing

of the packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check the appliance and

accessories for damage.

2. Wash the replaceable plates in warm water and wipe dry.

3. We recommend switching on the appliance and leaving it in operation for about

5 minutes without any ingredients in place with each pair of replaceable plates to

remove any odors. During this time, you may notice faint smoke. This is a normal

occurrence. Any odor and faint smoke will disappear with use.

Inserting and replacing plates

Warning:

Always make sure that the appliance is switched off and cool and that the

plates are clean and dry before inserting or replacing the plates.

1. To remove the top plate press the two locks that secure it. The plate will come

loose; carefully remove it from the appliance. To remove the bottom plate, press

the two locks that secure it. The plate will come loose; carefully remove it from the

appliance.

2. Insert the edge of the top plate with the wider cutout under the hinge and then

press lightly on the outer edge of the plate to secure it inside the appliance. Correct

locking is indicated by a click. Insert the bottom plate in the same way.

Warning:

Never combine replaceable plates. Always use plates of the same type.

Use

1. Insert the plates into the appliance according to the intended type of cooking.

2. Before using for the rst time, coat the boards with a small amount of butter or oil.

3. Plug the power cord into a power outlet. The red LED lights up. This indicates that

the appliance is connected to the power supply.

4. The process of heating to operating temperature starts. The heating time lasts 5 – 8

minutes.

5. Once the green LED lights up, the appliance is ready for use. The green LED will

light up and go out during use. This indicates that the plates are warming up to

operating temperature. It is not necessary to interrupt the cooking process.

6. Release the lock and carefully lift the top cover.

7. Place the prepared food on the bottom plate, close and press the top plate on the

bottom one. Secure the handles with the lock.

Note:

If you have placed too much or too many pieces of food, you will not be

able to close the handles. Remove some food or cut it into smaller pieces.

Never force the handles closed. You could damage the appliance.

8. After 2-3 minutes, unlock the lock and open the top cover to check the toasting

status. When the dish is ready, remove it using a wooden or heat-resistant plastic

spatula. If the food is not done, close the top cover and continue cooking.

Warning:

Never use metal utensils, knives or forks to remove food. You could scratch

the non-stick coating of the removable plates.

9. Before cooking other food, close the appliance and let it warm up again to the

operating temperature (the green LED lights up).

10. Once all the food has been processed, unplug the appliance the power outlet and

let the appliance cool down.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning or any maintenance, always switch off the appliance, disconnect the

plug from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely.

Warning:

Never immerse the appliance, the power cable and plug in water or any

other liquid.

Do not use plastic or metal scrapers, harsh cleaners, chemicals, gasoline, solvents or

other similar substances to clean parts of the appliance. The surface nish could be

seriously damaged.

Clean the appliance, especially the replaceable plates, after each use. Use a slightly

dampened soft sponge for cleaning. Then wipe dry with a clean cloth.

If food gets baked to the plates, use a soft sponge moistened in warm water with a

little detergent.

Replaceable plates will be easier to clean if they are lukewarm.

Wipe the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp soft sponge. Wipe dry with a

clean cloth.

Storage

Before storing, make sure that the appliance and its accessories are cool and clean.

Store the appliance and its accessories in a dry and well-ventilated place out of the

reach of children or pets.

Do not place any objects on the appliance.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

Lesen Sie vor der Anwendung dieses Benutzer-

handbuch durch und bewahren Sie es für den

künftigen Gebrauch auf.

1. Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und von

Personen mit verminderten physischen, sensorischen und

mentalen Fähigkeiten oder mangelnden Erfahrungen

und Kenntnissen benutzt werden, sofern sie beaufsichtigt

werden oder über die Anwendung des Verbrauchers auf

eine sichere Weise belehrt wurden und eventuelle Gefahren

verstehen.

2. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

3. Reinigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten, die gewöhnlich durch

den Anwender vorgenommen werden, dürfen nur Kinder

durchführen, die alter als 8 Jahre sind und beaufsichtigt

werden.

4. Kinder unter 8 Jahre sind außer Reichweite des Geräts und

des Netzkabels zu halten.

5. Wenn die Stromversorgungsleitung beschädigt ist, muss

sie durch den Hersteller, seinen Servicetechniker oder

eine ähnlich qualizierte Person ersetzt werden, um eine

6. Um ein Stromschlagrisiko zu vermeiden, dürfen Sie das

Gerät, das Netzkabel oder den Netzstecker nicht in Wasser

7. Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich für den Gebrauch im

Haushalt und innerhalb von Gebäuden vorgesehen.

Verwenden Sie es nicht im Freien.

8. Reinigen Sie die Oberächen, die mit der Speise

Benutzehandbuch angeführten Anweisungen.

9. Das Gerät ist nicht für den Betrieb über eine externe

10. Vergewissern Sie sich vor dem Einstecken des Netzsteckers in die

Steckdose, dass die auf dem Typenschild des Geräts angegebene

Spannung mit der Spannung Ihrer Steckdose übereinstimmt.

11. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine ordnungsgemäß geerdete

Steckdose. Wir empfehlen, das Gerät an einen separaten Stromkreis

anzuschließen. Verwenden Sie keine Verlängerungskabel.

12. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene, trockene und feste Oberäche.

Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Feuer oder anderen

Wärmequellen auf. Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von

hitzeempndlichen Oberächen oder Gegenständen auf, die sich

entzünden könnten, wie z.B. Gardinen, Vorhänge usw.

13. Lassen Sie das Netzkabel nicht über die Kante einer Arbeitsplatte

oder eines Tisches hängen. Vermeiden Sie, dass das Netzkabel nicht

mit einem Elektro- oder Gaskochfeld oder einer heißen Oberäche in

Berührung kommt.

14. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur mit dem mitgelieferten Zubehör. Die

Verwendung von Zubehör, das nicht für dieses Gerät bestimmt ist oder

vom Hersteller nicht als geeignet angegeben wurde, kann zu einer

gefährlichen Situation führen.

15. Bevor Sie das Gerät an das Stromnetz anschließen, vergewissern Sie sich

immer, dass es richtig zusammengebaut ist.

16. Berühren Sie das Gerät oder das Netzteil nicht mit nassen oder feuchten

Händen.

17. Reinigen Sie das Gerät nach jedem Gebrauch. Lassen Sie das Gerät

immer vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen. Verwenden Sie keine

Drahttücher oder grobe Reinigungsmittel, um die Antihaftbeschichtung

nicht zu beschädigen.

18. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und trennen Sie

das Gerät vom Stromnetz, wenn Sie es nicht benutzen, wenn es

unbeaufsichtigt bleibt, bevor Sie es reinigen, bewegen, zusammen- oder

auseinanderlegen.

21. Wenn das fertige Produkt an der Platte anbrennt, schalten Sie das

Gerät aus und warten Sie, bis es abgekühlt ist. Dann entfernen Sie

das angebrannte Produkt mit einer hitzebeständigen Holz- oder

Kunststoffutensilie von der Platte.

VERWENDUNG

Vor der Erstverwendung

1. Nehmen Sie das Gerät und sein Zubehör aus der Verpackung. Vergewissern Sie

sich, dass alle Komponenten entfernt wurden, bevor Sie die Verpackung entsorgen.

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass weder Gerät noch Zubehör beschädigt sind.

2. Waschen Sie die austauschbaren Platten in warmem Wasser und wischen Sie sie

trocken.

3. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, das Gerät einzuschalten und es etwa 5 Minuten lang

ohne eingelegte Zutaten laufen zu lassen, die mit jedem Paar herausnehmbarer

Platten eingelegt werden, um eventuelle Gerüche zu entfernen. Während dieser

Zeit können Sie einen schwachen Rauch wahrnehmen. Es handelt sich um eine

normale Erscheinung. Jeglicher Geruch und schwacher Rauch verschwinden mit

dem Gebrauch.

Einlegen und Auswechseln der Platten

Warnung:

Bevor Sie die Platten einlegen oder auswechseln, vergewissern Sie sich

immer, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet und abgekühlt ist und dass die Plat-

ten sauber und trocken sind.

1. Drücken Sie die beiden Sicherungsverschlüsse, um die obere Platte

herauszunehmen. Die Platte löst sich. Nehmen Sie sie vorsichtig aus dem Gerät

heraus. Drücken Sie die beiden Sicherungsverschlüsse, um die untere Platte

2. Schieben Sie den Rand der oberen Platte mit der breiteren Aussparung unter das

Scharnier und drücken Sie dann leicht auf den äußeren Rand der Platte, um sie im

Gerät zu befestigen. Das richtige Einschieben wird durch einen Klickton indiziert.

Setzen Sie die Bodenplatte auf die gleiche Weise ein.

Warnung:

Kombinieren Sie niemals die austauschbaren Platten miteinander. Ver-

wenden Sie immer Platten desselben Typs.

Verwendung

1. Setzen Sie die Platten je nach gewünschter Art der Zubereitung in das Gerät ein.

2. Schmieren Sie die Platten vor der Erstverwendung mit etwas Butter oder Öl ein.

3. Stecken Sie den Stecker des Netzkabels in die Steckdose. Die rote LED-Anzeige

leuchtet auf. Das deutet darauf hin, dass das Gerät an die Stromversorgung

angeschlossen werden.

4. Der Aufwärmprozess auf Betriebstemperatur beginnt. Der Aufwärmprozess dauert

5–8 Minuten.

5. Sobald die grüne LED-Anzeige zu leuchten beginnt, ist das Gerät betriebsbereit.

Während der Benutzung schaltet sich die grüne LED-Anzeige ein und aus.

Dies bedeutet, dass die Platten auf Betriebstemperatur erwärmt werden. Der

Zubereitungsprozess muss nicht unterbrochen werden.

6. Lösen Sie den Verschluss und heben Sie vorsichtig den oberen Deckel an.

7. Legen Sie die vorbereiteten Lebensmittel auf die untere Platte, klappen Sie sie zu

und drücken Sie die obere Platte auf die untere Platte. Sichern Sie die Griffe mit

dem Verschluss.

Bemerkung:

Wenn Sie zu große Mengen oder Stücke von Lebensmitteln eingelegt

haben, können die Griffe nicht mehr schließen. Entfernen Sie die Lebens-

mittel oder schneiden Sie sie in kleinere Stücke. Schließen Sie den Griff

niemals mit Gewalt. Dies könnte das Gerät beschädigen.

8. Lösen Sie nach 2–3 Minuten den Verschluss und klappen Sie den oberen Deckel

auf, um den Bräunungsgrad zu überprüfen. Wenn das Gericht fertig ist, nehmen

Sie es mit einem Holz- oder hitzebeständigen Pfannenwender aus Kunststoff

heraus. Wenn das Gericht noch nicht fertig ist, klappen Sie den Deckel wieder zu

und kochen Sie weiter.

Warnung:

Verwenden Sie niemals Metallbesteck, Messer oder Gabeln, um Lebens-

mittel zu entnehmen. Die Antihaftbeschichtung der abnehmbaren Plat-

ten könnte zerkratzt werden.

9. Schließen Sie das Gerät und lassen Sie es wieder auf Betriebstemperatur kommen,

bevor Sie weitere Lebensmittel zubereiten (die grüne LED-Anzeige leuchtet auf).

10. Sobald alle Lebensmittel verarbeitet sind, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der

Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.

REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG

Schalten Sie das Gerät immer aus, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose

und lassen Sie es vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen oder Wartungsarbeiten

durchführen.

Warnung:

Tauchen Sie das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder den Stecker niemals in Wasser

oder andere Flüssigkeiten.

Verwenden Sie keine Topfkratzer aus Kunststoff oder Metall, grobe Reinigungsmittel,

Chemikalien, Benzin, Lösungsmittel oder ähnliche Stoffe, um Teile des Geräts zu reini-

gen. Es könnte zu ernsthaften Schäden an der Oberäche kommen.

Reinigen Sie das Gerät, insbesondere die abnehmbaren Platten, nach jedem Ge-

brauch. Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung einen leicht angefeuchteten weichen

Schwamm. Verwenden Sie dann ein sauberes Tuch, um das Gerät trocken zu wischen.

Wenn Lebensmittel auf den Platten anbrennen, verwenden Sie einen weichen

Schwamm, der mit warmem Wasser und etwas Spülmittel angefeuchtet ist.

Die abnehmbaren Platten sind leichter zu reinigen, wenn sie lauwarm sind.

Wischen Sie die Außenäche des Geräts mit einem leicht angefeuchteten weichen

Schwamm ab. Wischen Sie sie mit einem sauberen Tuch trocken.

Lagerung

Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Lagerung, dass das Gerät und sein Zubehör abgekühlt

und sauber sind.

Bewahren Sie das Gerät und sein Zubehör an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort

außer Reichweite von Kindern und Haustieren auf.

Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf das Gerät.

1. Tento spotřebič mohou používat děti ve věku 8 let a starší a

nebo těch, které by se mohly vznítit, např. záclony, závěsy apod.

13. Napájecí přívod nenechávejte viset přes okraj desky nebo stolu. Zabraňte,

aby se napájecí přívod dotýkal elektrické nebo plynové desky či se

dotýkal horkého povrchu.

14. Používejte spotřebič pouze s dodávaným příslušenstvím. Použití

příslušenství, které není určeno pro tento spotřebič nebo není

specikováno výrobcem jako vhodné, může vést ke vzniku nebezpečné

situace.

15. Před připojením spotřebiče ke zdroji napájení se vždy ujistěte, že je

správně sestaven.

20. Při vyjímání hotových výrobků ze spotřebiče vždy používejte dřevěné

nebo teplovzdorné plastové náčiní. Nepoužívejte kovové náčiní, nože,

vidličky apod., neboť by mohlo dojít k poškrábání a poničení nepřilnavé

povrchové úpravy vyjímatelných desek.

21. Pokud se hotový výrobek připeče k desce, vypněte spotřebič a vyčkejte,

až vychladne. Poté pomocí dřevěného nebo teplovzdorného plastového

náčiní odstraňte připečený výrobek z desky.

22. Je zakázáno používat poškozený spotřebič, spotřebič s poškozenou

vyměnitelnou deskou, napájecím přívodem nebo vidlicí.

23. Spotřebič nezakrývejte, zatímco je v provozu.

24. Napájecí přívod odpojujte vždy uchopením za vidlici, nikoli tahem za

napájecí přívod.

POUŽITÍ

Před prvním použitím

1. Vyjměte spotřebič a jeho příslušenství z obalu. Před likvidací obalu se ujistěte,

že jste vyjmuli všechny komponenty. Zkontrolujte, zdali nejsou spotřebič ani

příslušenství poškozeny.

2. Vyměnitelné desky omyjte v teplé vodě a otřete dosucha.

3. Doporučujeme spotřebič zapnout a nechat v provozu po dobu asi 5 minut bez

vložených surovin s každým párem vyměnitelných desek, abyste z nich odstranili

případný zápach. Během této doby můžete zaznamenat i slabý kouř. Jedná se o

normální jev. Případný zápach a slabý kouř používáním zmizí.

Vložení a výměna desek

Varování:

Před vložením nebo výměnou desek se vždy ujistěte, že je spotřebič vy-

pnutý a vychladlý, a desky jsou čisté a suché.

1. Pro vyjmutí horní desky stiskněte oba zámky, které ji zajišťují. Deska se uvolní,

opatrně ji vyjměte ze spotřebiče. Pro vyjmutí spodní desky stiskněte oba zámky,

které ji zajišťují. Deska se uvolní, opatrně ji vyjměte ze spotřebiče.

2. Okraj horní desky s širším výřezem vložte pod závěs a poté mírně zatlačte na vnější

okraj desky, abyste ji zajistili uvnitř spotřebiče. Správné zajištění je signalizováno

cvaknutím. Stejným způsobem vložte i spodní desku.

Varování:

Nikdy nekombinujte vyměnitelné desky mezi sebou. Vždy používejte des-

ky stejného typu.

Použití

1. Do spotřebiče vložte desky podle zamýšleného druhu přípravy.

2. Před prvním použitím potřete desky malým množstvím másla nebo oleje.

3. Zapojte vidlici napájecího přívodu do síťové zásuvky. Rozsvítí se červená LED

kontrolka. Ta označuje, že je spotřebič připojen ke zdroji napájení.

4. Spustí se proces zahřívání na provozní teplotu. Doba zahřívání trvá 5–8 minut.

5. Jakmile se rozsvítí zelená LED kontrolka, je spotřebič připraven k použití. Během

používání se bude zelená LED kontrolka rozsvěcet a zhasínat. To označuje zahřívání

desek na provozní teplotu. Není nutné proces přípravy přerušovat.

6. Uvolněte zámek a opatrně zdvihněte horní kryt.

7. Na spodní desku vložte připravené potraviny, přiklopte a přitiskněte horní desku na

spodní. Rukojeti zajistěte zámkem.

Poznámka:

Pokud jste vložili příliš velké množství nebo kousky potravin, nebude mož-

né rukojeti zavřít. Potraviny odeberte nebo nakrájejte na menší kousky.

Nikdy nezavírejte rukojeti násilím. Mohlo by dojít k poškození spotřebiče.

8. Po 2–3 minutách odjistěte zámek a odklopte horní kryt, abyste zkontrolovali stav

opečení. Pokud je pokrm hotový, vyjměte jej pomocí dřevěné nebo teplovzdorné

plastové obracečky. Pokud pokrm hotový není, přiklopte horní kryt a pokračujte v

přípravě.

Varování:

K vyjmutí pokrmu nikdy nepoužívejte kovové náčiní, nože nebo vidličky.

Mohlo by dojít k poškrábání nepřilnavé vrstvy vyměnitelných desek.

9. Před přípravou dalších potravin spotřebič zavřete a nechte jej znovu zahřát na

provozní teplotu (rozsvítí se zelená LED kontrolka).

10. Jakmile jsou všechny potraviny zpracované, odpojte vidlici napájecího přívodu od

síťové zásuvky a nechte spotřebič vychladnout.

ČIŠTĚNÍ A ÚDRŽBA

Před čistěním nebo jakoukoli údržbou vždy spotřebič vypněte, odpojte vidlici napájecí-

ho přívodu od síťové zásuvky a nechte jej zcela vychladnout.

Varování:

Nikdy neponořujte spotřebič, napájecí přívod ani vidlici do vody ani jiné

tekutiny.

K čištění částí spotřebiče nepoužívejte umělohmotné nebo kovové drátěnky, hrubé

čisticí prostředky, chemikálie, benzín, rozpouštědla ani jiné podobné látky. Mohlo by

dojít k vážnému narušení povrchové úpravy.

Spotřebič, zvláště vyměnitelné desky, čistěte po každém použití. K čištění používejte

mírně navlhčenou měkkou houbičku. Poté otřete čistou utěrkou dosucha.

Pokud dojde k připečení potravin na desky, použijte měkkou houbičku navlhčenou v

teplé vodě s trochou přípravku na mytí nádobí.

Vyměnitelné desky se budou lépe čistit, pokud budou vlažné.

Vnější povrch spotřebiče otřete mírně navlhčenou měkkou houbičkou. Otřete čistou

utěrkou dosucha.

Uložení

Před uložením se ujistěte, že jsou spotřebič i jeho příslušenství vychladlé a čisté.

Spotřebič a jeho příslušenství uložte na suché a dobře větrané místo mimo dosah dětí

nebo domácích mazlíčků.

Na spotřebič nepokládejte žádné předměty.
