quality product. The instructions for use are a part of this product.

They contain important information about safety, use and disposal.

Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all the oper-

ating and safety instructions. Only use the product as described and

for the indicated purpose. When passing this product on to others,

please be sure to include all its documentation.

Intended use

This device is specially designed for a multitude of creative hobby

tasks for gluing heat sensitive materials such as paper, ﬂowers, wood,

cardboard, packaging, plastic, leather, ceramic, glass and fabric. The

material which is to be glued must be clean, dry and grease free. Any

other use or modiﬁcation to the device shall be considered as improp-

er use and could give rise to considerable dangers. The manufacturer

is not liable for damage caused by improper use. The device is not

intended for commercial use.

Safety instructions

ATTENTION!

► Read all the instructions. Failure to observe the following

instructions can result in electric shock, ﬁre and / or serious

injury.

Keep all safety advice and instructions in a safe place

for future reference.

■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and

above and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that

they are under supervision or have been told how to use the

appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children

must not use the appliance as a plaything. Cleaning and user

maintenance tasks may not be carried out by children unless they

are supervised.

■ Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do

not play with the device.

■ ATTENTION! This device must be stood on its stand leg

when

it is not in use.

■ Keep the device away from rain and moisture. Water entering

an electrical device increases the risk of electric shock.

■ Do not use the cable for any purpose for which it was not inten-

ded, e.g. to carry the product, to hang it up or to pull the mains

plug out of the mains socket. Keep the cable away from heat, oil,

and sharp edges. If the mains cable is damaged or severed whist

in use, do not touch it, remove the mains plug immediately.

Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of an electric shock.

■ If the mains power cable of this appliance is damaged, it must

be replaced by the manufacturer or its service department, or a

similarly qualiﬁed person to prevent hazards.

■ Use in weather protected rooms only.

■ Unplug if you will not be using the device for more than 30

minutes.

■ Let the device completely cool down after use and before storing.

■ Do not use on material containing asbestos.

■ Avoid the risk of injury and burns as well as heath hazards:

Risk of burning! The glue and the nozzle reach over plus 105 °C.

Do not touch the nozzle or the glue. Do not let the hot glue touch

people or animals. If there is contact with skin immediately put

the aﬀected area under cold running water for several minutes.

Do not try to remove the glue from your skin.

■ Always run the power cable away from the appliance to the rear.

♦ Use only the accessories and attachments detailed in the opera-

ting instructions, or those which are compatible with the device.

Operation

Prepare the area to be glued:

■ Do not use any ﬂammable solvents to clean the area.

■ The room temperature and the temperature of the material to be

glued may not be colder than +5 °C and no warmer than + 50 °C.

■ The area must be clean, dry and grease free.

♦ Smooth out the surface before gluing.

♦ Warm up cooled material such as steel for a better join.

1. Fold the stand leg

out. Set the device aside.

2. Put a glue cartridge in the feed canal

3. Let the device warm up for 5 minutes. The device is now ready

to use.

Gluing:

♦ Press the feed trigger

to start and control the ﬂow of glue.

1. Apply the glue in dots. Apply the glue in a zigzag line on ﬂexible

material e.g. textiles.

2. Press both glued together work-pieces together immediately

after applying the glue for approx. 30 seconds. The glued area

is resilient after approx. 5 minutes.

3. Place the glue gun on its stand leg

between gluing.

Switching the device oﬀ:

♦ Pull the mains plug from the socket.

Maintenance and cleaning

WARNING! UNPLUG THE MAINS PLUG FROM

THE SOCKET BEFORE CLEANING.

■ The low temperature glue gun is maintenance free.

■ Always keep the device clean, dry and free of oil or grease.

■ Do not allow liquids to enter the equipment. Please use a soft

cloth for cleaning the housing. Never use petrol, solvents or

cleaning agents that attack plastic.

Disposal

Disposal of the appliance

The packaging is made of environmentally friendly material

and can be disposed of at your local recycling centre.

Do not dispose of power tools in the normal

domestic waste!

European Directive 2012/19/EU requires that worn-out power

tools be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally

compatible manner.

Your local community or municipal authorities can provide informa-

tion on how to dispose of the worn-out appliance.

Warranty

This appliance is provided with a 3-year warranty valid from the

date of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care

and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a war-

ranty claim, please contact your Customer Service unit by telephone.

This is the only way to guarantee free return of your goods.

NOTE

► This warranty is valid only for material or manufacturing faults,

not for damage sustained during carriage, parts subject to wear

and tear or damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial

purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in the case of misuse

or improper handling, use of force or modiﬁcations which have not

carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.

Your statutory rights are not restricted by this warranty. The warranty

period is not prolonged by repairs eﬀected under the warranty. This

also applies to replaced and repaired components.

Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be

reported immediately after unpacking, but no later than two days

after the date of purchase.

Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be

subject to charge.

proizvoda. One sadrže važne napomene za sigurnost, rukovanje i

zbrinjavanje. Prije uporabe uređaja upoznajte se sa svim pripadaju-

ćim uputama za uporabu i svim sigurnosnim napomenama. Proizvod

koristite isključivo na opisani način i u navedenim područjima uporabe.

U slučaju predaje proizvoda trećim osobama priložite i predajte i

Namjenska uporaba

Uređaj je posebno prikladan za mnoštvo kreativnih primjena u hobi-

jima, za lijepljenje materijala osjetljivih na toplinu, kao što su papir,

cvijeće, drvo, karton, pakiranja, plastika, koža, keramika, staklo i

tkanine. Materijal koji se lijepi mora biti čist, suh i odmašćen. Svaki

drugi način uporabe i svaka izmjena uređaja smatra se nenamjen-

skom i krije znatnu opasnost od nastanka nezgode. Proizvođač ne

preuzima odgovornost od štete nastale uslijed korištenja uređaja

kontakta s kožom, mjesto kontakta nekoliko minuta držite pod

mlazom hladne vode. Ne pokušavajte ljepilo odstraniti s kože.

■ Mrežni kabel uvijek postavite prema nazad iza uređaja.
