uct on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on

all the documentation.

Proper Use

The wall clock shows the time by using Radio time signal (DCF). The

device is intended for use indoors at normal room temperatures only.

The device is not intended for commercial use.

DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries can be swallowed,

which may represent a danger to life. If a battery has been swal-

lowed, medical help is required immediately.

Do not use the device if it is damaged.

Safety Instructions for Batteries

Remove the battery from the device if it is not going to be used for

a prolonged period.

CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION! The batter-

ies must never be recharged!

When inserting the battery, ensure the correct polarity! This is shown

in the battery compartment.

If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts before inserting

the battery.

Remove a spent battery immediately from the device. There is an

increased danger of leaks!

If the above instructions are not complied with, the battery may

discharge itself beyond its end voltage. There is then a danger of

leaking. If the battery has leaked inside your device, you should

remove it immediately in order to prevent damage to the device!

Batteries must not be disposed of in the normal domestic waste!

Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries in the

proper manner!

Keep batteries away from children; do not throw batteries in the

ﬁre, short-circuit batteries or take them apart.

Safety / Preparing the product for use / Operation

Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Any

parts of the body coming into contact with battery acid should

be rinsed oﬀ with copious amounts of water and / or a doctor

contacted if necessary!

Preparing the product for use

Remove the battery insulation strip from between the battery and

the contact.

Note: Reception may be considerably reduced by obstructions

(e.g. concrete walls) or sources of interference (e.g. other electrical

devices). In the event of reception problems, change the position

of the wall clock (e.g. to somewhere near a window).

Radio Signal (DCF):

The DCF signal (time signal transmitter) consists of time pulses emitted

by one of the most accurate clocks in the world close to Frankfurt / Main,

Germany – this varies by 1 second in a million years.

Your radio-controlled clock receives these signals under ideal conditions

up to a distance of approx. 1,500 km around Frankfurt / Main. Reception

of the radio signal generally takes approx. 3–10 minutes.

Operation

Receiving the DCF radio time signal

The wall clock automatically starts to search for the DCF radio time signal.

This process takes about 3–10 minutes to complete.

Operation

The reception of the DCF radio time signal by the wall clock can also

be started manually.

Press and keep pressed the REC button

at least 5 seconds. The

wall clock attempts to receive the DCF radio time signal. This process

takes a few minutes to complete.

Note: If the wall clock was not able to receive the DCF radio time

signal because of errors, e.g. due your location to being at too great a

distance from the transmitter or for other reasons, you can set the time

manually. The manually set value is overwritten as soon as reception

of the DCF radio time signal is successful.

Setting the time manually

Press and keep pressed the M.SET button

at least 3 seconds.

The wall clock switches into manual mode.

Press and keep pressed the M.SET button again until the hands

reach the correct position for you to set the time.

Brieﬂy pressing the M.SET button moves the hands forward in one

minute steps to enable you to set the current time manually.

Note: After 8 seconds without pressing the M.SET button, the

wall clock switches out of manual mode and keeps the time as

normal. The manually set value is overwritten as soon as reception

of the DCF radio time signal is successful.

Inserting photos

You can insert your own photographs into the clock‘s photo-holder

To do this, proceed as shown in Fig. B.

Reset the functions (RESET)

If the wall clock does not react, you can press the RESET button

to reset all the settings back to the default values. You can then

start again from the beginning.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Under no circumstances should you use liquids or detergents, as

these will damage the device.

The device should only be cleaned on the outside with a soft dry

cloth.

If the wall clock is not going to be used, remove the battery.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials,

which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to

dispose of your worn-out product.

Disposal / Information

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product

properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and

not in the household waste. Information on collection points

and their opening hours can be obtained from your local

authority.

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive

2006 / 66 / EC. Please return the batteries and / or the device to the

available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect

disposal of the batteries!

Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They

may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste

treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals

are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why

you should dispose of used batteries at a local collection point.

Uvod

Dobro sačuvajte ove upute za uporabu. U slučaju prosljeđi-

vanja uređaja trećim osobama, predajte također svu pripa-

dajuću dokumentaciju.



Namjenska uporaba

Zidni sat pokazuje vrijeme pomoću DCF radio signala. Uređaj je isključivo

namijenjen za pogon u zatvorenim prostorijama na normalnoj sobnoj

temperaturi. Uređaj nije namijenjen za komercijalne svrhe.



Sigurnosne upute za baterije

Otklonite baterije iz uređaja, ako ga se dulje vrijeme nije koristilo.

OPREZ! OPASNOST OD EKSPLOZIJE! Ne punite

baterije nikad ponovno!

Tijekom umetanja baterija, vodite računa o ispravnoj polarizaciji!

Ista je prikazana u baterijskom kućištu.

Ukoliko je potrebno, očistite baterijski kontakt i kontakt uređaja prije

postavljanja baterija.

Istrošenu bateriju odmah odstranite iz uređaja. Postoji povećana

opasnost da baterija iscuri!

Kod nepoštivanja ovog naputka baterija se može isprazniti preko

svog završnog napona. Postoji opasnost da iscuri. Ako je baterija

u Vašem uređaju iscurila odmah je odstranite kako biste izbjegli

oštećenja na uređaju!

Ne bacajte baterije u kućni otpad!

Svaki potrošač zakonski je obvezan, propisno otklanjati baterije!

Držite baterije podalje od djece, ne bacajte baterije u vatru, ne

spajajte ih ukratko i ne rastavljajte ih.

Sigurnost / Stavljanje u pogon / Opsluživanje

Izbjegavajte dodir s kožom, očima i sluznicom. U slučaju dodira

baterijske kiseline, isperite dotično mjesto sa dostatno vode i / ili

obratite se liječniku!



Stavljanje u pogon

Otklonite baterijsku izolaciju između baterije i kontakta.

Uputa: Prijem može biti znatno ometan kroz prepreke (npr. betonski

zidovi) ili izvore smetnji (npr. druge električne uređaje). Ukoliko

nastanu smetnje u prijemu, promijenite položaj zidnog sata (npr. u

blizinu prozora).

Radiosignal (DCF):

Znak DCF (odašiljač vremenskog signala) se sastoji od dva vremenska

impulsa, koje prijenosi jedan od najtočnijih satova na svijetu, u blizini

Frankfurt-a / na Main-i, Njemačka – on varira za 1 sekundu u 1 milijun

godina.

Vaš radiosat prima te signale u optimalnim uvjetima sve do udaljenosti

od cca. 1.500 km oko Frankfurt-a / na Main-i. Prijem radiosignala traje

u pravilu cca. 3–10 minuta.



Opsluživanje



Primanje DCF radio signala

Zidni sat automatski započinje pretragu DCF radio signala. Taj postupak

traje 3–10 minuta.

Opsluživanje

Prijem DCF radio signala može se također ručno pokrenuti na zidnom

satu.

Držite tipku REC

najmanje 5 sekunde pritisnutom. Zidni sat poku-

šava primiti DCF radio signal. Taj postupak traje nekoliko minuta.

Uputa: Ukoliko zidni sat nemože primiti DCF radio signal zbog pogre-

šaka, prevelike udaljenosti odašiljača, i.sl., imate također mogućnost

ručnog namještanja vremena. Čim je prijem DCF radio signala uspješan,

ručno namještene vrijednosti biti će prepisane važećim vrijednostima.



Ručno namještanje vremena

Držite tipku M.SET

najmanje 3 sekunde pritisnutom. Zidni sat

mijenja na ručni pogon.

Ponovno pritisnite tipku M.SET i držite je pritisnutom, kako bi kazaljke

postigle svoj ispravni položaj i kako bi mogli namijestiti vrijeme.

Pritisnite kratko tipku M.SET, kako bi se kazaljke pomicale korak po

korak za jednu minutu. Namijestite tako ručno sat.

Uputa: Nakon 8 sekundi bez pritiska na tipki M.SET, zidni sat na-

pušta ručni modus i vrijeme teče dalje normalno. Čim je prijem

DCF radio signala uspješan, ručno namještene vrijednosti biti će

prepisane važećim vrijednostima.

Postavljanje fotograﬁja

Možete postaviti vlastite fotograﬁje u držač fotograﬁja

sata.

Vraćanje funkcija unazad (RESET)

Pomoću tipke RESET

vraćaju se sve vrijednosti na prethodno

namiještanje, ukoliko zidni sat ne reagira. Tako da se može izvesti

pokretanje iz početka.



Čišćenje i njega

Ne rabite ni u kojem slučaju tekućine ili sredstva za čišćenje, jer

ista bi mogla oštetiti uređaj.

Čistite uređaj isključivo izvana mekom, suhom krpom.

Ako se zidni sat više ne rabi, otklonite bateriju.



Zbrinjavanje otpada

Pakiranje se sastoji od ekološki prihvatljivog materijala,

kojeg možete odložiti preko lokalnih reciklažnih mjesta.

O mogućnostima zbrinjavanja dotrajalog proizvoda možete se

informirati pri vašem općinskom ili gradskom komunalnom uredu.

Ne bacajte dotrajali proizvod u smeće iz kućanstva, zbog

zaštite okoline, već ga predajte na mjestu za stručno odlaganje

otpada. Informacije o mjestima za sakupljanje otpada i njiho-

vom radnom vremenu možete dobiti pri Vašem nadležnom

općinskom uredu.

Zbrinjavanje otpada / Informacije

Oštećene ili istrošene baterije potrebno je sukladno smjernici 2006 / 66 / EC

predati sustavu reciklaže. Vratite baterije i / ili uređaj preko ponuđenih

sabirnih ustanova.

Ugrožavanje okoliša kroz

pogrešno uklanjanje baterija!

Baterije se ne smije uklanjati zajedno s kućnim otpadom. Iste mogu

sadržavati otrovne teške metale i obvezno ih je uklanjati sukladno

odredbama za poseban otpad. Kemički znakovi teških metala su

slijedeći: Cd = kadmij, Hg = živa, Pb = olovo. Stoga predajte istrošene

baterije na komunalno mjesto za sabiranje otpada.


