1.3 Produktinformationen

Hilti Produkte sind für den professionellen Benutzer bestimmt und dürfen nur von autorisiertem, eingewiese-

nem Personal bedient, gewartet und instand gehalten werden. Dieses Personal muss speziell über die auftre-

tenden Gefahren unterrichtet sein. Vom Produkt und seinenHilfsmitteln können Gefahren ausgehen, wenn sie

von unausgebildetem Personal unsachgemäß behandelt oder nicht bestimmungsgemäß verwendet werden.

Typenbezeichnung und Seriennummer sind auf dem Typenschild angegeben.

2 Sicherheit

2.1 Allgemeine Sicherheitsmaßnahmen

▶ Überprüfen Sie das Gerät vor dem Gebrauch. Lassen Sie das Gerät vom Hilti Service reparieren, wenn

es beschädigt ist.

▶ Machen Sie keine Sicherheitseinrichtungen unwirksam und entfernen Sie keine Hinweis- und Warnschil-

der.

▶ Nach einem Sturz des Gerätes aus größerer Höhe sollte die Funktionsfähigkeit untersucht werden.

▶ Um Fehlmessungen zu vermeiden, müssen Sie das Empfangsfeld sauber halten.

▶ Behandeln Sie das Gerät sorgfältig.

▶ Lassen sie das Gerät trocknen bevor Sie es verstauen und lagern.

2.2 Elektrische Sicherheit

▶ Die Batterien dürfen nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelangen.

▶ Überhitzen Sie die Batterien nicht und setzen Sie sie keinem Feuer aus. Die Batterien können explodieren

und es können toxische Stoffe freigesetzt werden.

▶ Laden Sie die Batterien nicht auf.

▶ Verlöten Sie die Batterien nicht im Gerät.

▶ Entladen Sie die Batterien nicht durch Kurzschluss. Die Batterien können erhitzen und Brandblasen

verursachen.

▶ Öffnen Sie die Batterien nicht und setzen Sie sie nicht übermäßiger mechanischer Belastung aus.

2.3 Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit

Obwohl das Gerät die strengen Anforderungen der einschlägigen Richtlinien erfüllt, kann Hilti die Möglichkeit

nicht ausschließen, dass das Gerät durch starke Strahlung gestört wird, was zu einer Fehloperation führen

kann. In diesem Fall oder anderen Unsicherheiten müssen Kontrollmessungen durchgeführt werden.

Ebenfalls kann Hilti nicht ausschließen dass andere Geräte (z.B. Navigationseinrichtungen von Flugzeugen)

gestört werden.

WARNUNG! Dies ist eine Einrichtung der Klasse A gemäß EN 55011. Die Einrichtung kann im Wohnbereich

Funkstörungen verursachen. In deisem Fall kann vom Betreiber verlangt werden, angemessene Maßnahmen

durchzuführen.

3.2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Das Produkt ist zur Detektion von Laserstrahlen beim Linienlaser PM 2-LG und PM 40-MG bestimmt.

Vom Gerät und seinen Hilfsmitteln können Gefahren ausgehen, wenn sie von unausgebildetem Personal

unsachgemäß behandelt oder nicht bestimmungsgemäß verwendet wird.

Manipulationen oder Veränderungen am Gerät sind nicht erlaubt.

Befolgen Sie die Angaben zu Betrieb, Pflege und Instandhaltung in der Bedienungsanleitung.

Berücksichtigen Sie die Umgebungseinflüsse. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wo Brand oder Explosionsge-

fahr besteht.

5 Bedienung

5.1 Ein- / Ausschalten

▶ Drücken Sie die Ein- /Austaste, um das Gerät ein- oder auszuschalten.

5.2 Arbeiten mit dem Empfänger

▶ Der Empfänger PMA 31 G kann für Distanzen bis 35 m (115 ft) vom Gerät entfernt benutzt werden. Die

Anzeige des Laserstrahls erfolgt optisch und akustisch.

5.3 Arbeiten mit der horizontalen Linie

▶ Halten Sie den Empfänger PMA 31 G in den Laserstrahl, sodass das Empfangsfenster senkrecht zur

Linienebene ist.

Hinweis

Wenn das Empfangsfenster nicht senkrechtzur Linienebene ist, kann es zu fehlerhaften Messungen

kommen.

5.4 Arbeiten mit der vertikalen Linie

1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die vertikale Linie senkrecht zur Wand (bzw. zur Detektionsfläche) projiziert wird.

Hinweis

Wenn die vertikale Linie nicht senkrecht zur Wand bzw. zur Detektionsfläche projiziert wird, kann

es zu fehlerhaften Messungen kommen.

2. Schalten Sie den Empfänger PMA 31 G mit der Ein- /Aus-Taste ein.

3. Halten Sie den Empfänger PMA 31 G in den Laserstrahl, sodass das Empfangsfenster senkrecht zur

Linienebene ist.

Hinweis

Wenn das Empfangsfenster nicht senkrechtzur Linienebene ist, kann es zu fehlerhaften Messungen

kommen.

5.5 Lautstärke einstellen

▶ Stellen Sie mit der Taste zur Einstellung des akustischen Signals die gewünschte Lautstärke ein.

5.6 Reinigen und trocknen

▶ Blasen Sie den Staub von der Oberfläche.

▶ Berühren Sie Anzeigefelder bzw. das Empfangsfenster nicht mit Ihren Fingern.

▶ Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem sauberen, weichen Tuch. Falls nötig, befeuchten Sie das Tuch mit

Alkohol oder Wasser.

▶ Beachten Sie die Temperaturgrenzwerte bei der Lagerung Ihrer Ausrüstung, speziell im Sommer oder

Winter, wenn Sie Ihre Ausrüstung im Fahrzeuginnenraum aufbewahren (-30 °C bis +60 °C) (-22 °F bis

140 °F).

6 Transport und Lagerung

6.1 Transportieren

▶ Verwenden Sie für den Transport oder Versand Ihrer Ausrüstung entweder den Hilti Versandkoffer oder

eine gleichwertige Verpackung.

Hinweis

Für den Versand des Geräts müssen Sie die Batterien isolieren oder aus dem Gerät entfernen.

6.2 Lagern

▶ Nass gewordene Geräte auspacken.

▶ Geräte, Transportbehälter und Zubehör abtrocknen (bei höchstens 63 °C/ 145 °F) und reinigen.

▶ Ausrüstung erst wieder einpacken, wenn sie völlig trocken ist, anschließend trocken lagern.

▶ Führen Sie nach längerer Lagerung oder längerem Transport Ihrer Ausrüstung vor Gebrauch eine

Kontrollmessung durch.

6.3 Transport und Lagerung von Akku-Geräten

Transport

VORSICHT

Unbeabsichtigter Anlauf beim Transport. Durch eingesetzte Akkus kann es zu unkontrolliertem

Anlauf beim Transport des Gerätes kommen und dieses beschädigt werden.

▶ Gerät immer ohne eingesetzte Akkus transportieren.

▶ Akkus entnehmen.

▶ Gerät und Akkus einzeln verpackt transportieren.

▶ Akkus nie in loser Schüttung transportieren.

▶ Nach längerem Transport Gerät und Akkus vor Gebrauch auf Beschädigung kontrollieren.

Lagerung

VORSICHT

Unbeabsichtigte Beschädigung durch defekte Akkus. Durch auslaufende Akkus kann das Gerät

beschädigt werden.

▶ Gerät immer ohne eingesetzte Akkus lagern.

▶ Gerät und Akkus möglichst kühl und trocken lagern.

▶ Akkus nie in der Sonne, auf Heizungen, oder hinter Glasscheiben lagern.

▶ Gerät und Akkus unzugänglich für Kinder und unbefugte Personen lagern.

▶ Nach längerer Lagerung Gerät und Akkus vor Gebrauch auf Beschädigung kontrollieren.

7 Entsorgung

Hilti Geräte sind zu einem hohen Anteil aus wiederverwertbaren Materialien hergestellt. Voraussetzung

für eine Wiederverwertung ist eine sachgemäße Stofftrennung. In vielen Ländern nimmt Hilti Ihr Altgerät zur

Verwertung zurück. Fragen Sie den Hilti Kundenservice oder Ihren Verkaufsberater.

2 Safety

2.1 General safety rules

▶ Check the condition of the tool before use. If damaged, have the tool repaired by Hilti Service.

▶ Do not render safety devices ineffective and do not remove information and warning notices.

▶ After falling from considerable height, the tool should be checked for correct, accurate operation.

▶ To avoid measurement errors, the receiving area must be kept clean.

▶ Handle the tool carefully.

▶ Allow the tool to dry before putting it into storage.

2.2 Electrical safety

▶ Keep the batteries out of reach of children.

▶ Do not allow the batteries to overheat and do not expose them to fire. The batteries may explode and

release toxic substances.

▶ Do not charge the batteries.

▶ Do not solder the batteries into the tool.

▶ Do not discharge the batteries by short-circuiting. The batteries may get hot, presenting a risk of personal

injury (burns).

▶ Do not attempt to open the batteries and do not subject them to excessive mechanical stress.

2.3 Electromagnetic compatibility

Although the device complies with the strict requirements of the applicable directives, Hilti cannot entirely

rule out the possibility of interference to the device caused by powerful electromagnetic radiation, possibly

leading to incorrect operation. Check the accuracy of the device by taking measurements by other means

when working under such conditions, or if you are unsure. Likewise, Hilti cannot rule out the possibility of

interference with other devices (e.g. aircraft navigation equipment).

3.2 Intended use

The tool is designed to detect laser beams from the PM 2-LG and PM 40-MG line lasers.

The tool and its ancillary equipment may present hazards when used incorrectly by untrained personnel or

when used not as directed.

Modification of the tool is not permitted.

Observe the information printed in the operating instructions concerning operation, care and maintenance.

Take the influences of the surrounding area into account. Do not use the device where there is a risk of fire

or explosion.

5 Operation

5.1 Switching on and off

▶ Press the on / off button to switch the tool on or off.

5.2 Working with the receiver

▶ The PMA 31 G receiver can be used at distances of up to 35 m (115 ft) from the laser tool. The laser

beam is indicated visually and by a signal tone.

5.3 Working with the horizontal line

▶ Hold the PMA 31 G receiver in the laser beam with the receiving window at right angles to the projected

plane of the line.

Note

Results may be inaccurate if the receiving window is not held at right angles to the projected plane

of the line.

5.4 Working with the vertical line

6 Transport and storage

6.1 Transport

▶ Use the Hilti shipping box or packaging of equivalent quality for transporting or shipping your equipment.

Note

The batteries must be insulated or removed from the tool before the tool is shipped or sent by mail.

6.2 Storage

▶ Remove the tool from its case if it has become wet.

▶ The tool, its carrying case and accessories should be cleaned and dried (at maximum 63 °C/145 °F).

▶ Repack the equipment only once it has dried completely and then store it in a dry place.

▶ Check the accuracy of the equipment before it is used after a long period of storage or transportation.

6.3 Transport and storage of cordless tools

Transport

CAUTION

Inadvertent starting during transport. Uncontrolled starting during transport may occur if the battery

is fitted, thereby resulting in damage to the tool.

▶ Always remove the battery before transporting the tool.

7 Disposal

Most of the materials from which Hilti tools and appliances are manufactured can be recycled. The

materials must be correctly separated before they can be recycled. In many countries, your old tools,

machines or appliances can be returned to Hilti for recycling. Ask Hilti Service or your Hilti representative

for further information.

2 Sécurité

2.1 Consignes de sécurité générales

▶ Avant toute utilisation, l'appareil doit être contrôlé. Faire réparer l'appareil par le S.A.V. Hilti s'il est

endommagé.

▶ Ne pas neutraliser les dispositifs de sécurité ni enlever les plaquettes indicatrices et les plaquettes

d’avertissement.

▶ Si l'appareil est tombé d'une grande hauteur, sa fonctionnalité doit être contrôlée.

▶ Pour éviter toute erreur de mesure, toujours bien nettoyer la zone de réception.

▶ Manier l'appareil avec soin.

▶ Laisser sécher l'appareil avant de le ranger et de le stocker.

2.2 Sécurité relative au système électrique

▶ Les piles doivent être tenues hors de portée des enfants.

▶ Ne pas surchauffer les piles et ne pas les exposer au feu. Les piles peuvent exploser et des substances

toxiques peuvent être dégagées.

▶ Ne pas recharger les piles.

▶ Ne pas souder les piles dans l'appareil.

▶ Ne pas décharger les piles en provoquant un court-circuit. Les piles peuvent chauffer et se déformer.

▶ Ne pas ouvrir les piles et ne pas les soumettre à des contraintes mécaniques excessives.

2.3 Compatibilité électromagnétique

Bien que l'appareil réponde aux sévères exigences des directives pertinentes, Hilti ne peut exclure la

possibilité que l'appareil soit perturbé sous l'effet d'un fort rayonnement, ce qui pourrait provoquer un

dysfonctionnement. Dans ce cas ou en cas d'autres incertitudes, des mesures de contrôle doivent être

effectuées pour vérifier la précision de l'appareil. De même, Hilti ne peut exclure l'éventualité que d'autres

5 Utilisation

5.1 Mise en marche / Arrêt

▶ Appuyer sur la touche Mise en marche / Arrêt pour mettre l'appareil respectivement en marche ou en

arrêt.

5.2 Utilisation du récepteur

▶ Le récepteur PMA 31 G peut être utilisé jusqu'à des distances allant jusqu'à 35 m (115 ft) de l'appareil.

Le fonctionnement du faisceau laser est signalé optiquement et acoustiquement.

5.3 Utilisation de la raie horizontale

▶ Maintenir le récepteur PMA 31 G dans le faisceau laser de sorte que la fenêtre de réception soit

perpendiculaire au plan de la raie.

Remarque

Si la fenêtre de réception n'est pas perpendiculaire au plan de la raie, les mesures risquent d'être

faussées.

5.4 Utilisation de la raie verticale

1. Vérifier que la raie verticale est projetée perpendiculairement au mur (resp. à la surface de détection).

5.5 Réglage du volume sonore

▶ Nettoyer l'appareil uniquement avec un chiffon propre et doux. Si nécessaire, humidifier le chiffon avec

de l'eau ou de l'alcool.

▶ Si le matériel est entreposé à l'intérieur d'un véhicule, respecter les plages de températures, notamment

6 Transport et stockage

6.1 Transport

▶ Pour transporter ou renvoyer le matériel, utiliser soit le carton de livraison Hilti, soit tout autre emballage

de qualité équivalente.

Remarque

Pour expédier l’appareil, toujours isoler les batteries ou les retirer de l’appareil.

6.2 Stockage

▶ Si votre appareil a été mouillé, le déballer.

▶ Sécher et nettoyer l'appareil, son coffret de transport et les accessoires (température max. 63 °C /

145 °F).

▶ Ne réemballer le matériel qu'une fois complètement sec, puis le stocker au sec.

▶ Si votre matériel est resté longtemps stocké ou s’il a été transporté sur une longue distance, vérifier sa

précision (mesure de contrôle) avant de l’utiliser.

6.3 Transport et stockage des appareils sur accu

Transport

ATTENTION

Mise en marche inopinée lors du transport. Si les accus n'ont pas été retirés, il y a risque de mise

en marche inopinée lors du transport de l'appareil, et que celui-ci soit alors endommagé.

▶ Toujours retirer les accus avant de transporter l'appareil.

▶ Retirer les accus.

▶ Transporter l'appareil et les accus emballés séparément.

▶ Ne jamais transporter les accus en vrac.

Stockage

ATTENTION

Endommagement involontaire du fait d'accus défectueux. Des accus qui coulent risquent

▶ Toujours retirer les accus avant de stocker l'appareil.

▶ Stocker l'appareil et les accus si possible au frais et au sec.

▶ Ne jamais stocker les accus exposés au soleil, sur des installations de chauffage ou derrière des vitres.

▶ Stocker l'appareil et les accus hors de portée des enfants et des personnes non autorisées.

▶ Avant toute utilisation consécutive à un stockage prolongé de l'appareil et des accus, toujours vérifier

qu'ils ne sont pas endommagés.

7 Recyclage

Les appareils Hilti sont fabriqués pour une grande partie en matériaux recyclables. Le recyclage

présuppose un tri adéquat des matériaux. Hilti reprend les appareils usagés dans de nombreux pays en vue
