Originalbetriebsanleitung, die dem Ak-

kupack beiliegenden Sicherheitshinweise und die bei-

liegende Originalbetriebsanleitung Akkupack /

Standardladegerät. Handeln Sie danach. Bewahren Sie

die Hefte für den späteren Gebrauch oder für Nachbe-

sitzer auf.

Neben den Hinweisen in der Betriebsanleitung müssen

Sie die allgemeinen Sicherheits- und Unfallverhütungs-

vorschriften des Gesetzgebers berücksichtigen.

Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

GEFAHR ● Das Gerät kann durch Amputieren

von Händen und Füßen zum Tod und zu schweren Per-

sonenschäden führen sowie Gegenstände schleudern.

● Schwere Verletzungen durch unkonzentriertes Arbei-

ten. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Sie unter

dem Einfluss von Drogen, Alkohol oder Medikamenten

stehen oder müde sind.

melige Kleidung und rutschfeste Stiefel. Arbeiten Sie

nicht barfuß. Tragen Sie keine Sandalen oder kurze Ho-

sen. Vermeiden Sie locker sitzende Kleidung oder Klei-

dung mit Schnüren und Bändern. ● Tragen Sie eine

Schutz- oder Sicherheitsbrille mit Seitenschutz. ● Füh-

ren Sie das Gerät immer quer entlang eines Hanges.

Gefahr von schweren Verletzungen, wenn Sie das Ge-

rät bei der Arbeit an Hängen nach oben und unten füh-

ren. ● Laufen Sie nicht, sondern gehen Sie bei der

Arbeit mit dem Gerät. Sorgen Sie für einen festen, si-

cheren Stand und halten Sie das Gleichgewicht, insbe-

sondere bei der Arbeit an Hängen. ● Unfallgefahr durch

Ausrutschen. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht am Rand

von Abhängen, Gräben, an übermäßigen Steigungen

oder Böschungen.

Arbeitsplatzsicherheit

GEFAHR ● Schwere Verletzungen, wenn vom

Schneidmesser Gegenstände geschleudert werden

oder sich Draht oder Schnur im Schneidwerkzeug ver-

fängt. Untersuchen Sie den Arbeitsbereich vor der Ver-

wendung gründlich auf Gegenstände wie Steine,

Stöcke, Metall, Draht, Knochen oder Spielzeug und ent-

fernen Sie diese. ● Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals,

wenn sich Personen, insbesondere Kinder oder Tiere

im Umkreis von 15 m befinden, da die Gefahr besteht,

dass vom Schneidmesser Gegenstände geschleudert

werden. ● Explosionsgefahr. Das Gerät erzeugt Fun-

ken, die Staub, Gas oder Dämpfe entzünden können.

Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in einer explosionsgefähr-

deten Umgebung, in der sich brennbare Flüssigkeiten,

Gase oder Stäube befinden. ● Schwere Unfälle mit Kin-

dern. Kinder können sich von dem Gerät und der Aktivi-

tät angezogen fühlen. Behalten Sie Kinder im Auge, da

sie sich nicht unbedingt dort aufhalten, wo Sie sie zu-

letzt gesehen haben.

vorsichtig, wenn Sie sich blinden Ecken, Sträuchern,

Bäumen oder Objekten nähern, die Ihre Sicht beein-

trächtigen könnten.

ACHTUNG ● Der Bediener des Geräts ist für Un-

fälle mit anderen Personen oder deren Eigentum ver-

antwortlich.

Sicherer Betrieb

GEFAHR ● Stellen Sie vor jeder Verwendung

des Geräts sicher, dass Messer, Messerbolzen und

Messereinheit weder abgenutzt noch beschädigt sind.

● Verriegeln Sie den Ein-/ Ausschalter niemals in der

EIN-Position, dies ist extrem gefährlich. ● Ziehen Sie

das Gerät nur rückwärts, wenn es absolut notwendig ist.

Gerät nicht, wenn Sie den Motor starten oder während

der Motor läuft. Falls ein Kippen absolut notwendig ist,

z. B. um den Start zu erleichtern, können Sie die Vor-

derseite des Geräts um 5 cm anheben. Drücken Sie da-

zu den Handgriff vorsichtig nach unten. Sie müssen das

Gerät in die normale Betriebsposition bringen (d.h. alle

vier Räder auf dem Boden), bevor Sie mit dem Mähvor-

gang beginnen. ● Messer, die mit einem stromführen-

den Kabel in Kontakt kommen, können freiliegende

Metallteile des Gerätes unter Strom setzen und einen

elektrischen Schlag verursachen.

Gerät nicht mit Gewalt. ● Halten Sie den Motor an, um

die Messer zu stoppen, wenn Sie das Gerät zum oder

vom Mähbereich transportieren oder das Gerät beim

Überqueren von anderem Untergrund als Gras kippen.

● Stoppen Sie das Messer, bevor Sie Kiesflächen über-

queren. ● Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals mit defek-

ten Schutzvorrichtungen oder ohne

Sicherheitsvorrichtungen, wie z. B. Abweisern und /

oder dem Grasfangkorb. ● Halten Sie Ihre Hände oder

Füße nicht in die Nähe von oder unter rotierende Teile.

Schalten Sie den Motor gemäß Anleitung an. ● Heben

oder tragen Sie das Gerät niemals mit laufendem Motor.

● Unebenes Terrain birgt eine erhöhte Rutsch- und Un-

fallgefahr. Meiden Sie Löcher, Furchen, Unebenheiten,

Steine oder sonstige versteckte Objekte. ● Starten Sie

das Gerät nur, wenn Sie sich im sicheren Bereich hinter

dem Griff befinden.

●Alle vier Räder auf dem Boden stehen.

●Der Gras-Auswurfschacht nicht frei liegt, sondern

vom Grasfangkorb oder dem Deckel der Auswurföff-

nung geschützt ist.

●Hände und Füße aller Personen fern vom Schneid-

gehäuse sind.

● Schalten Sie den Motor aus und entfernen Sie den Si-

cherheitsschlüssel. Stellen Sie sicher dass alle beweg-

lichen Teile vollständig angehalten sind:

●Immer, wenn Sie das Gerät unbeaufsichtigt zurück-

lassen, einschließlich bei der Entsorgung des Gras-

schnitts.

●Bevor Sie eine Blockierung entfernen oder die Aus-

wurföffnung reinigen.

●Bevor Sie das Gerät prüfen, reinigen oder daran ar-

beiten.

●Nachdem Sie einen Fremdkörper getroffen haben.

Prüfen Sie das Gerät erst auf Schäden und reparie-

ren Sie diese, bevor Sie das Gerät wieder starten.

●Bevor Sie den Grasfangkorb entfernen oder die Ab-

deckung des Grasauswurfs öffnen.

●Wenn das Gerät anfängt ungewöhnlich zu vibrieren.

Prüfen Sie das Gerät sofort:

–Auf lockere Teile. Ziehen Sie lockere Teile falls

erforderlich fest.

–Auf Schäden, insbesondere am Messer. Repa-

rieren bzw. ersetzen Sie beschädigte Teile.

regelmäßig auf Abnutzung und Verschleiß.

ACHTUNG ● Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Motor-

kontrollkabel bei der Montage oder dem Einklappen des

Griffs niemals eingeklemmt oder anderweitig beschä-

digt wird.

Restrisiken

● Auch wenn das Gerät wie vorgeschrieben verwendet

wird, bleiben gewisse Restrisiken bestehen. Die fol-

genden Gefahren können bei der Benutzung des Ge-

räts entstehen:

●Vibration kann Verletzungen verursachen. Verwen-

den Sie für jede Arbeit das richtige Werkzeug, ver-

wenden Sie die vorgesehenen Griffe und schränken

Sie die Arbeitszeit und Exposition ein.

●Lärm kann zu Hörschäden führen. Tragen Sie einen

Gehörschutz und schränken Sie die Belastung ein.

●Verletzungen durch Kontakt mit den Messern.

●Verletzungen durch geschleuderte Gegenstände.

Risikoverringerung

몇VORSICHT

● Längere Benutzungsdauer des Geräts kann zu vibra-

tionsbedingten Durchblutungsstörungen in den Hän-

den führen. Eine allgemein gültige Dauer für die

Benutzung kann nicht festgelegt werden, weil diese

von mehreren Einflussfaktoren abhängt:

●Persönliche Veranlagung zu schlechter Durchblu-

tung (häufig kalte Finger, Fingerkribbeln)

●Niedrige Umgebungstemperatur. Tragen Sie warme

Handschuhe zum Schutz der Hände.

●Durch festes Zugreifen behinderte Durchblutung.

●Ununterbrochener Betrieb ist schädlicher als durch

Pausen unterbrochener Betrieb.

Bei regelmäßiger, lang andauernder Benutzung des

Geräts und bei wiederholtem Auftreten von Sympto-

men, wie z. B. Fingerkribbeln, kalte Finger, sollten

Sie einen Arzt aufsuchen.

Lebensgefahr durch Schnittverletzungen

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur bestimmungsgemäß.

●Benutzen Sie den Akku-Rasenmäher ausschließ-

lich für den Privathaushalt.

●Das Gerät ist nur zum Einsatz im Freien vorgese-

hen.

●Das Gerät ist zum Mähen von Hausrasen bestimmt.

●Das Gerät ist dafür vorgesehen, von Hand gescho-

ben zu werden. Das Gerät sollte nicht gezogen wer-

den.

●Auf dem Gerät darf nicht geritten werden.

Jede andere Verwendung ist unzulässig. Für Schäden

bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung haftet der

Benutzer.

Inbetriebnahme

Griff einstellen

1. Den Teleskopgriff umklappen bis er hörbar einras-

tet.

Hinweis

Das Gerät funktioniert nur, wenn der Teleskopgriff voll-

ständig herausgezogen ist und die Griffsperren verrie-

Mulchkeil montieren

Der Mulchkeil wird verwendet, wenn der Grasschnitt auf

dem Rasen liegen bleiben soll.

Befolgen Sie alle Warnungen und Sicher-

heitshinweise. Lesen und verstehen Sie alle

Anweisungen, bevor Sie das Produkt benut-

zen.

Achten Sie auf geschleuderte oder fliegende

Objekte.

Halten Sie alle Zuschauer, besonders Kinder

und Haustiere, mindestens 15 m vom Ar-

beitsbereich fern.

Achten Sie auf scharfe Messer. Die Klingen

drehen sich weiter nachdem der Motor aus-

geschaltet ist.

Entfernen Sie vor der Wartung den Sicher-

heitsschlüssel.

Tragen Sie bei der Arbeit einen geeigneten

Augen- und Gehörschutz.

Arbeiten Sie nicht an steilen Hängen.

Setzen Sie das Gerät weder Regen noch

feuchten Bedingungen aus.

Grasfangkorb montieren

Der Grasfangkorb wird verwendet, wenn der Gras-

schnitt zur Entsorgung gesammelt werden soll.

1. Die Klappe des Auswurfschachts öffnen.

3. Den Grasfangkorb am Auswurfschacht montieren.

Darauf achten, dass die Klappe des Auswurf-

schachts den Grasfangkorb verriegelt.

1. Die Akkuklappe öffnen.

2. Den Akkupack in die Aufnahme des Geräts schie-

ben, bis er hörbar einrastet.

3. Den Sicherheitsschlüssel einstecken.

4. Die Akkuklappe schließen.

Betrieb

Allgemeine Hinweise zur Handhabung des

Rasenmähers

Die Laufzeit des Akkus hängt von mehreren Faktoren

ab:

●Vom Zustand, der Länge und der Dichte des Grases

●Von der eingestellten Schnitthöhe

Maximale Flächenleistung, abhängig von der Grasbe-

schaffenheit mit einem 5 Ah Akkupack: ca. 550 m2.

Das Resultat des Mähvorgangs kann wie folgt optimiert

werden:

●Höchstens ein Drittel der Grashöhe abschneiden.

●Beim Mähen von hohem Gras die Geschwindigkeit

reduzieren, mit der das Gerät geschoben wird.

Hinweis

Mähen Sie kein nasses Gras. Nasses Gras klebt an der

Unterseite des Rasenmähers und verhindert das ord-

nungsgemäße Sammeln im Grasfangkorb oder den

Auswurf des Schnittguts.

Rasen mähen

몇WARNUNG

Anheben oder Kippen des Rasenmähers während

des Betriebs

Schnittverletzungen

Das Messer des Akku-Rasenmähers dreht sich unge-

fähr parallel zum Boden, über den es sich bewegt. Ach-

ten Sie darauf, dass alle vier Räder beim Mähen den

Boden berühren.

1. Den Grasfangkorb oder den Mulchkeil montieren

(siehe Kapitel Inbetriebnahme).

2. Mit dem Hebel Schnitthöhenverstellung die Schnitt-

höhe einstellen.

Die Schnitthöhe richtet sich nach dem Zustand, der

Länge und der Dichte des Grases (siehe Kapitel All-

gemeine Hinweise zur Handhabung des Rasenmä-

hers).

3. Den Startknopf und den Schalter EIN / AUS drü-

cken.

4. Den Startknopf loslassen und den Schalter EIN /

AUS gedrückt lassen.

Bei Verwendung des Grasfangkorbs diesen regelmäßig

leeren, da sonst der Auswurfschacht durch Grasschnitt

verstopfen kann (siehe Kapitel Grasfangkorb leeren).

Randbereich mähen

Mit dem Gerät lässt sich auch der Randbereich, z. B.

entlang einer Mauer mähen.

1. Den Rasenmäher dicht an der Mauer entlang schie-

ben.

Der seitliche Einzug sorgt dafür, dass das Gras in den

Schnittbereich gezogen wird.

Wenn der Grasfangkorb voll ist, schließt sich die Klappe

von der Füllstandsanzeige des Grasfangkorbs. In dem

Fall den Grasfangkorb leeren.

1. Die Klappe des Auswurfschachts anheben.

Beim Entfernen des Grasfangkorbs darauf achten,

dass das Motorkontrollkabel in der Kabelhalterung

bleibt.

Transport

Scharfes Messer

Schnittverletzungen

Seien Sie vorsichtig, wenn Sie das Gerät kippen oder

anheben.

Halten Sie alle Körperteile vom Messer fern.

1. Das Gerät ausschalten (siehe Kapitel Betrieb been-

den).

2. Sicherstellen, dass das Messer sich nicht mehr

dreht.

3. Das Gerät abkühlen lassen.

4. Den Sicherheitsschlüssel entfernen (siehe Kapitel

Akkupack entfernen).

5. Den Akkupack entfernen.

6. Beim Transport in Fahrzeugen, das Gerät gegen

Rutschen und Kippen sichern.

Lagerung

Vor jeder Lagerung das Gerät reinigen (siehe Kapitel

Gerät reinigen).

1. Den Sicherheitsschlüssel entfernen.

2. Den Akkupack entfernen (siehe Kapitel Akkupack

entfernen).

3. Die Griffsperren entriegeln.

Tragen Sie Schutzhandschuhe, wenn Sie eine Blockie-

rung prüfen oder entfernen.

1. Das Gerät ausschalten und warten, bis das Messer

zum Stillstand gekommen ist.

2. Den Sicherheitsschlüssel entfernen.

3. Den Akkupack entfernen (siehe Kapitel Akkupack

entfernen).

4. Den Grasfangkorb entfernen und auf Blockierungen

prüfen. Gegebenenfalls Blockierungen entfernen.

5. Den Auswurfschacht auf Blockierungen prüfen. Ge-

gebenenfalls Blockierungen entfernen.

6. Das Gerät zur Seite kippen.

7. Die Unterseite des Geräts und das Messer auf Blo-

ckierungen prüfen. Blockierungen vorsichtig entfer-

nen, da sich das Messer während des Vorgangs

bewegen kann.

Messer ersetzen

1. Den Sicherheitsschlüssel entfernen.

Das Gerät schaltet aus

Der Überlastschutz des Geräts hat ausgelöst.

1. Den Schalter EIN / AUS loslassen.

2. Den Startknopf und den Schalter EIN / AUS drü-

cken.

Der Überhitzungsschutz des Akkupacks hat ausgelöst.

1. Warten bis die Temperatur des Akkupacks im Nor-

malbereich liegt.

2. Falls das Gerät sich nicht einschalten lässt, den Ak-

kupack laden.

sandals or short trousers. Avoid wearing loose clothing

or clothing with cords and straps. ● Wear protective

goggles or safety goggles with side protection. ● Always

guide the device along the face of a gradient. Danger of

severe injuries when you guide the device up and down

a gradient. ● Do not run but rather walk when working

with the device. Maintain a solid and safe footing and

keep your balance, especially when working on gradi-

ents. ● Danger of accident due to slipping. Do not use

the device at the edges of steep slopes or trenches, on

steep slopes or embankments.

Occupational safety

DANGER ● Severe injuries when objects are

flung by the cutting blade or when the cutting tool be-

comes entangled in wires or cords. Inspect the work ar-

ea thoroughly for objects such as stones, sticks, metal,

wires, bones or toys and remove these before using the

device. ● Never use the device when persons, especial-

ly children, are within a radius of 15 m of the working ar-

ea, because the danger exists of objects being flung out

by the cutting blade. ● Danger of explosion. The device

creates sparks that may ignite dust, gas or vapours. Do

not operate the device in explosive atmospheres, such

as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dusts.

● Severe accidents with children. Children can be at-

tracted by the device and your activities. Keep an eye

on children because they do not always remain where

you have last seen them.

몇WARNING ● Do not operate the device on wet

grass or in the rain. ● Do not use the device if there is a

danger of lightning. ● Always mow in daylight or under

good artificial lighting. ● Keep children away from the

mowing area and have them supervised by an adult

who is not the operator, be alert and switch the device

off if a child enters the mowing area. ● Be careful when

approaching blind corners, bushes, trees or objects that

might restrict your view.

ATTENTION ● The device operator is responsible

for accidents with other people and their property.

Safe operation

DANGER ● Check that the blade, blade bolts

and blade unit are undamaged each time before using

the device. ● Never lock the On/Off switch in the ON po-

sition, this is extremely dangerous. ● Pull the device

backwards only when absolutely necessary. If you need

to pull the device away from a wall or obstacle, first pull

downwards to prevent yourself from stumbling or pulling

the device over your feet. ● Danger of coming into con-

tact with the open blade or being hit by flung objects. Do

not tip the device when starting the motor or while the

motor is running. If tipping is absolutely necessary, e.g.

to make starting easier, then you can raise the front of

the device by 5 cm. Press the handle carefully down-

wards for this. You must return the device to the normal

operating position (i.e. all four wheels on the ground)

before starting to mow. ● Knives that come into contact

with a live cable may energize exposed metal parts of

the device and cause an electric shock.

몇WARNING ● The blades on the device are

sharp. Wear sturdy protective gloves and work carefully

when installing, replacing, cleaning or checking the

seating of screws. ● Replace worn or damage parts as

a complete set to maintain the correct balance. ● En-

sure that the device is in a safe condition by regularly

checking that all bolts, nuts and screws are screwed

tight. ● Replace any worn or damaged parts before op-

erating the device. ● Never use the device if the on/off

switch on the handle does not switch on and off correct-

ly. ● Do not forcefully operate the device. ● Stop the mo-

tor, in order to stop the blade when transporting the

device to and from the mowing area or when tipping the

device for crossing ground that is not covered with

grass. ● Stop the blade before crossing gravel surfaces.

● Never use the device with defective or absent protec-

tive devices, such as e.g. deflectors and/or the grass

catcher. ● Do not bring your hands or feet in the vicinity

of, or underneath rotating parts. Switch the motor on ac-

cording to the operating instructions. ● Never lift or carry

the device while the motor is running. ● Uneven terrain

carries an increased risk of slipping and accidents.

Avoid holes, furrows, uneven areas, stones and other

hidden objects. ● Start the device only when you are po-

sitioned in the safe area behind the handle.

●All four wheels are on the ground.

●The grass ejection chute is not open but rather pro-

tected by the grass catcher or the ejection chute

cover.

●The hands and feet of all persons are away from the

cutting housing.

● Switch the motor off and remove the safety key. En-

sure that all moving parts have completely stopped

moving:

●Always when you leave the device unattended, in-

cluding the periods when disposing of the mown

grass.

●Before removing a blockage or cleaning the ejection

chute.

●Before checking, cleaning or working on the device.

●After hitting a foreign object. First check the device

for damage and repair any damage before restarting

the device.

●Before removing the grass catcher or the grass

ejection chute cover.

●When the device starts to vibrate unusually. Imme-

diately check the device:

–For loose parts. Tighten any loose parts if neces-

sary.

–For damage, especially to the blade. Repair or re-

place any damaged parts.

몇CAUTION ● Check the grass catcher regularly

for wear and tear.

ATTENTION ● Take care to ensure that the motor

control cable is not jammed or damaged in any other

way during installation or when folding the handle.

Residual risks

몇WARNING

● Certain residual risks remain present, even when the

device is operated in the prescribed manner. The fol-

lowing dangers can be present when using the de-

vice:

●Vibration can cause injuries. Use the correct tools

for the job, use the handles provided and restrict the

working time and hazard exposure time.

●Noise can cause hearing injuries. Wear hearing pro-

tection and limit the duration of exposure.

●Injuries through contact with the blades.

●Injuries due to flung objects.

Risk reduction

몇CAUTION

● Using the device for longer periods can cause poor

circulation in the hands due to vibrations. A general

period of use cannot be set, because this depends on

several influencing factors:

●Personal tendency to suffer from poor circulation

(frequently cold fingers, tingling sensation in the fin-

gers)

●Low ambient temperature. Wear warm gloves to

protect your hands.

●Holding the device too tightly hindering blood circu-

lation.

●Continuous operation is more harmful than opera-

tion interrupted by work breaks.

You should see a doctor if using the device regularly

and for lengthy periods of time, and in the event of re-

peated occurrences of symptoms such as tingling in

the fingers or cold fingers.

Any other use is prohibited. The user carries full liability

for damage resulting from improper use.

Environmental protection

The packing materials can be recycled. Please

dispose of packaging in accordance with the en-

vironmental regulations.

Electrical and electronic appliances contain valu-

able, recyclable materials and often components

such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil,

which - if handled or disposed of incorrectly - can

pose a potential threat to human health and the environ-

ment. However, these components are required for the

correct operation of the appliance. Appliances marked

Overload protection

The device is equipped with an overload protection sys-

tem. The device switches off automatically when an

overload is detected.

Device description

The maximum amount of equipment is described in

these operating instructions. Depending on the model

used, there are differences in the scope of delivery (see

Adjusting the handle

1. Fold over the telescopic handle out until it audibly

latches into place.

The grass catcher is used when the mown grass is to be

collected for disposal.

care to ensure that the ejection chute flap locks the

grass catcher in place.

Operation

General information on handling the

lawnmower

The run time of the battery depends on several factors:

●The condition, length and density of the grass

●The cutting height setting

The maximum surface performance, depending on the

state of the grass, with a 5 Ah battery pack:

approx. 550 m2.

The results of the mowing process can be optimised as

follows:

●Cut at a maximum of one third of the grass height.

●Reduce the speed at which push the device when

mowing tall grass.

Note

Do not mow wet grass. Wet grass sticks to the under-

side of the lawnmower and prevents correct collection of

the grass in the grass catcher or ejection of the grass.

Mowing lawns

몇WARNING

Lifting or tipping the lawnmower during operation

Incision injuries

The blade of the lawnmower rotates approximately par-

allel to the ground over which it moves. Take care to en-

sure that all four wheels touch the ground when

mowing.

1. Install the grass catcher or mulch plug (see Chapter

Initial startup).

2. Set the cutting height using the cutting height adjust-

ment lever.

tion, length and density of the grass (see Chapter

4. Release the start button and hold the ON/OFF but-

Empty the grass catcher regularly when using the grass

catcher, otherwise the ejection chute can become

clogged with cut grass (see Chapter Emptying the

grass catcher).

Mowing edges

Lawn edges, e.g. along a wall, can also be mown using

the device.

1. Push the lawnmower along the wall, close to the

wall.

5. Remove the battery pack.

6. Secure the device against slipping and tipping over

when transporting in vehicles.

Storage

Clean the device before storing (see Chapter Cleaning

the device).

1. Remove the safety key.

2. Remove the battery pack (see Chapter Removing

the battery pack).

3. Unlock the handle locks.

1. Remove the safety key.

3. Clean the underside of the device (see Chapter

4. Lock the blade and then loosen the screw.

remedy yourself using the following overview. When in

doubt, or in the case of malfunctions not mentioned

The device switches off

The device overload protection system has triggered.

1. Release the ON/OFF switch.

2. Press the start button and the ON/OFF switch.

The battery pack overheating protection has triggered.

1. Wait until the battery pack temperature lies within

the normal range.

2. Charge the battery pack if the device cannot be

switched on.

Consignes de sécurité générales

DANGER ● L'appareil peut entraîner des bles-

sures graves, voire mortelles, par l'amputation des

mains et des pieds et projeter des objets. ● Blessures

graves dues à un manque de concentration pendant le

travail. N'utilisez jamais l'appareil sous l'influence de

drogues, d'alcool ou de médicaments, ou si vous êtes

fatigué.

personnes qui n’ont pas pris connaissance de ces ins-

tructions ne peuvent pas utiliser cet appareil. Des dispo-

sitions locales peuvent limiter l'âge de l'utilisateur. ● Les

enfants ne sont pas autorisés à jouer avec l’appareil.

● Surveillez les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent

pas avec l’appareil. ● Utilisez exclusivement l'appareil

avec le bloc-batterie spécifié dans le présent manuel

d'utilisation. Lors de l'utilisation d'appareils sous batte-

rie, respectez les mesures de précaution de base pour

réduire le risque de blessures, de feu ou de fuite de la

batterie. ● Lorsque vous travaillez avec l'appareil, por-

tez des pantalons longs et lourds, des vêtements à

manche longue et des bottes anti-dérapantes. Ne tra-

vaillez jamais pieds nus. Ne portez pas de sandales ou

de pantalons courts. Evitez des vêtements amples ou

des vêtements avec des rubans et des lacets. ● Portez

des lunettes de sécurité ou de protection avec une pro-

tection latérale. ● Dans une pente, guidez toujours l'ap-

pareil en crabe. Risques de blessure lorsque vous

guidez l'appareil vers le haut et vers le bas lors du travail

en pente. ● Ne courez pas quand vous travaillez avec

l'appareil, marchez. Garantissez la stabilité et mainte-

nez l'équilibre, notamment en cas de travail en pente.

● Risque d'accident en glissant. N'utilisez pas l'appareil

au bord de pentes escarpées ou de fossés ni sur des

montées ou des remblais importants.

Sécurité de l'espace de travail

DANGER ● Blessures graves si des objets

sont projetés par la lame de coupe ou si un câble ou une

corde se coince dans l'outil de coupe. Avant d'utiliser

l'appareil, vérifiez bien qu'il n'y ait pas de pierres, de bâ-

tons, de métal, de câble, d'os ou de jouet dans la plage

de travail et enlevez-les le cas échéant. ● N'utilisez ja-

mais l'appareil si des personnes, notamment des en-

fants ou des animaux se trouvent dans un rayon de 15

m car la lame de coupe pourrait projeter des objets.

● Risque d'explosion. L'appareil génère des étincelles

qui peuvent enflammer la poussière, le gaz ou les va-

peurs. N'utilisez pas l'appareil dans des atmosphères

explosibles dans lesquelles se trouvent des liquides,

gaz ou poussières inflammables. ● Accidents graves

avec des enfants. Les enfants peuvent être attirés par

l'appareil et l'activité. Gardez les enfants à l'œil étant

donné qu'ils ne restent pas forcément au dernier endroit

où vous les avez vus.

reil sur de l'herbe humide ou sous la pluie. ● N'utilisez

pas l'appareil en cas de risque de foudre. ● Tondez tou-

jours le gazon à la lumière du jour ou sous un bon éclai-

rage artificiel. ● Eloignez les enfants de l'environnement

de la tonte et sous la surveillance d'un adulte qui n'est

pas l'utilisateur ; soyez attentif et éteignez l'appareil

quand un enfant entre dans la zone de tonte. ● Soyez

prudent quand vous vous approchez d'un angle sans vi-

sibilité, de haies, d'arbres ou d'autres objets vous empê-

chant de voir ce qu'il y a derrière.

ATTENTION ● L'utilisateur de l'appareil est res-

ponsable des accidents avec d'autres personnes ou

leur propriété.

Fonctionnement sûr

DANGER ● Avant toute utilisation de l'appa-

reil, assurez-vous que la lame, les bras de lame et l'uni-

té de lame ne sont ni usés ni endommagés. ● Ne

verrouillez jamais le bouton marche/arrêt en position

MARCHE, c'est extrêmement dangereux. ● Ne tirez

l'appareil vers l'arrière qu'en cas de nécessité absolue.

Si vous devez enlever l'appareil d'un mur ou d'un obsta-

cle, commencez par regarder vers le bas pour éviter de

trébucher ou que l'appareil ne roule sur vos pieds.

● Risque d'entrer en contact avec la lame exposée ou

d'être heurté par des objets projetés. Ne basculez pas

l'appareil quand vous démarrez le moteur ou pendant

que le moteur tourne. Si vous devez absolument bascu-

ler le moteur, p. ex. pour faciliter le démarrage, vous

pouvez soulever la partie avant de l'appareil de 5 cm.

Appuyez pour cela délicatement sur la poignée. Vous

devez amener l'appareil dans la position de fonctionne-

ment normale (c'est-à-dire les quatre roues sur le sol)

avant de commencer à tondre. ● Les lames entrant en

contact avec un câble conducteur de courant peuvent

mettre sous tension des pièces métalliques exposées

de l’appareil et provoquer une décharge électrique.

몇AVERTISSEMENT ● Les lames de l'appa-

reil sont acérées. Portez des gants de protection résis-

tants et travaillez avec prudence quand vous montez,

remplacez, nettoyez ou vérifiez le serrage des vis.

● Remplacez des pièces usées ou endommagées par

lots pour garder l'équilibre. ● Veillez à ce que l'appareil

soit dans un état sûr en vérifiant à intervalles réguliers

que les goujons, les écrous et les vis sont bien serrés.

● Remplacez les pièces usées ou endommagées avant

de mettre l'appareil en service. ● N'exploitez jamais

l'appareil quand le bouton marche/arrêt sur la poignée

ne s'allume ou ne s'éteint pas correctement. ● Ne faites

pas usage de force pour utiliser l'appareil. ● Arrêtez le

moteur pour arrêter les lames lorsque vous transportez

l'appareil vers ou depuis la zone de tonte ou quand vous

basculez l'appareil en traversant d'autres supports que

de l'herbe. ● Arrêtez la lame avant de traverser des sur-

faces en gravier. ● N'utilisez jamais l'appareil avec des

dispositifs de poussée défectueux ou sans dispositif de

sécurité comme des déflecteurs et/ou un bac à herbe.

● Ne placez pas vos mains ou pieds à proximité de ou

sous des pièces rotatives. Allumez le moteur conformé-

ment aux instructions. ● Ne soulevez jamais ou ne por-

tez jamais l'appareil avec le moteur en marche. ● Un

terrain accidenté présente un risque supplémentaire de

glissement ou d’accident. Evitez les trous, les sillons,

les bosses, les pierres ou autres objets cachés. ● Ne

démarrez l'appareil que si vous vous trouvez dans la

zone sûre derrière la poignée.

●Les quatre roues sont sur le sol.

●La goulotte d'éjection de l'herbe n'est pas appa-

rente, mais elle est protégée par le bac à herbe ou

le couvercle de l'ouverture de décharge.

●Les mains et les pieds de toutes les personnes sont

loin du carter de coupe.

● Coupez le moteur et enlevez la clé de sécurité. Assu-

rez-vous que tous les composants mobiles sont com-

plètement stoppés :

●A chaque fois que vous laissez l'appareil sans sur-

veillance, y compris lors de l'élimination de l'herbe

coupée.

●Avant d'enlever une obstruction ou de nettoyer l'ou-

verture de décharge.

●Avant de vérifier, nettoyer ou travailler sur l'appareil.

●Après avoir rencontré un corps étranger. Vérifiez

que l'appareil n'est pas endommagé et réparez-le

avant de le redémarrer.

●Avant d'enlever le bac à herbe ou d'ouvrir le cache

de l'expulsion d'herbe.

●Lorsque l'appareil commence à vibrer de manière

inhabituelle. Vérifiez l'appareil immédiatement :

–Si des pièces sont lâches. Resserrez les pièces

lâches si nécessaire.

–En cas de dommages, notamment sur la lame.

Réparez et/ou remplacez les pièces endomma-

gées.

몇PRÉCAUTION ● Contrôlez régulièrement

l'absence d'usure sur le bac à herbe.

ATTENTION ● Assurez-vous que le câble de

contrôle du moteur n'est jamais coincé ni endommagé

d'une quelconque autre manière lors du montage ou du

rabattement de la poignée.

Risques résiduels

몇AVERTISSEMENT

● Même si l'appareil est utilisé comme prévu, il y a en-

core certains risques résiduels. Les risques suivants

peuvent être générés lors de l'utilisation de

l'appareil :

●Une vibration peut causer des blessures. Pour

chaque travail, utilisez l'outil approprié, utilisez les

poignées prévues et limitez le temps de travail et

l'exposition.

●Le bruit peut causer des lésions auditives. Portez

une protection auditive et limitez la sollicitation.

●Blessures par contact avec les lames.

●Blessures dues à des objets projetés.

Réduction des risques

몇PRÉCAUTION

● Une durée d'utilisation prolongée de l'appareil peut

provoquer des troubles circulatoires au niveau des

mains en raison des vibrations. Il est impossible de

définir une durée de validité générale pour l'utilisation

car elle dépend de nombreux facteurs d'influence :

●Tendance personnelle à souffrir d'une mauvaise cir-

culation sanguine (doigts souvent froids, déman-

geaison dans les doigts)

●Basse température ambiante. Portez des gants

chauds pour protéger vos mains.

●Circulation sanguine entravée par une saisie trop

ferme.

●Un usage en continu est plus dangereux qu'une uti-

lisation interrompue par des pauses.

Consultez un médecin en cas d'utilisation régulière et

de longue durée de l'appareil ou d'apparition répétée

de symptômes tels que les démangeaisons dans les

doigts, les doigts froids.

●Utilisez la tondeuse à gazon sur batterie unique-

ment pour un usage ménager privé.

●L'appareil est prévu uniquement pour l'emploi à l'air

libre.

●L'appareil est prévu pour la tonte de gazon de parti-

culiers.

●L'appareil est prévu pour être poussé à la main.

L'appareil ne devrait pas être tiré.

●Ne pas chevaucher l'appareil.

Toute autre utilisation est interdite. L'utilisateur est res-

ponsable des dommages résultant d'une utilisation non

conforme.

Protection de l'environnement

Les matériaux d'emballage sont recyclables.

Veuillez éliminer les emballages dans le respect

de l’environnement.

Les appareils électriques et électroniques

contiennent des matériaux précieux recyclables

et souvent des composants tels que des piles,

batteries ou de l’huile représentant un danger po-

tentiel pour la santé humaine et l'environnement, s'ils ne

sont pas manipulés ou éliminés correctement. Ces

composants sont cependant nécessaires pour le fonc-

tionnement correct de l'appareil. Les appareils marqués

par ce symbole ne doivent pas être jetés dans les or-

Etendue de livraison

L’étendue de livraison de l’appareil est illustrée sur l'em-

ballage. Lors du déballage, vérifiez que le contenu de la

cas de dommage dû au transport, veuillez informer

votre distributeur.

Respectez tous les avertissements et les

Protection contre les surcharges

L'appareil est équipé d'une protection contre les sur-

charges. Si une surcharge est constatée, l'appareil se

coupe automatiquement.

Mise en service

Régler la poignée

1. Rabattre la poignée télescopique jusqu'à ce qu'elle

s'enclenche de manière audible.

2. Déverrouiller les blocages de la poignée.

3. Sortir complètement la poignée télescopique.

4. Verrouiller les blocages de la poignée.

Remarque

L'appareil ne fonctionne que si la poignée télescopique

est complètement sortie et que les blocages de la poi-

gnée sont verrouillés.

5. Régler éventuellement l'angle d'inclinaison de la

poignée.

Monter l'obturateur mulching

L'obturateur mulching est utilisé quand l'herbe coupée

doit rester sur le gazon.

1. Ouvrir le clapet de la goulotte d'éjection.

2. Insérer l'obturateur mulching dans la goulotte

d'éjection.

3. Fermer le clapet de la goulotte d'éjection.

Monter le bac à herbe

Le bac à herbe est utilisé quand l'herbe coupée doit être

collectée pour être éliminée.

1. Ouvrir le clapet de la goulotte d'éjection.

2. Retirer l'obturateur mulching.

3. Monter le bac à herbe sur la goulotte d'éjection. Veil-

ler à ce que le clapet de la goulotte d'éjection ver-

rouille le bac à herbe.

1. Ouvrir le cache de la batterie.

2. Pousser le bloc-batterie dans le logement de l'appa-

reil jusqu'à ce que son enclenchement soit audible.

3. Entrer la clé de sécurité.

4. Fermer le cache de la batterie.

Utilisation

Remarques générales pour manipuler la

tondeuse à gazon

La durée de marche de la batterie dépend de plusieurs

facteurs :

●De l'état, de la longueur et de l'épaisseur de l'herbe

●De la hauteur de coupe réglée

Rendement surfacique maximum suivant la qualité de

l'herbe avec un bloc-batterie de 5 Ah : env. 550 m2.

Le résultat de la tonte peut être optimisé comme suit :

●Couper au maximum un tiers de la hauteur de

coupe.

●Si vous tondez des herbes hautes, réduisez la vi-

tesse à laquelle vous poussez l'appareil.

Eloignez tous les spectateurs, notamment

les enfants et les animaux domestiques, à

une distance d'au moins 15 m de la plage de

travail.

Faites attention aux lames acérées. Les

lames continuent de tourner après l'arrêt du

moteur.

Avant la maintenance, enlevez la clé de sé-

curité.

Pendant le travail, portez une protection au-

ditive et oculaire appropriée.

Ne travaillez pas sur des pentes raides.

N'exposez pas l'appareil à la pluie ou à des

conditions humides.
