Do not use this vacuum cleaner to clean building waste or debris.

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should be observed, including the

Unplug from outlet when not in use and before conducting maintenance.

Use only as described in this manual.
Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
Do not operate the vacuum cleaner or adapter if it has been
damaged in any way.
If the vacuum cleaner is not working as it should, has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped in water, return it
to a customer care center.
Do not handle the adapter or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
Use only on dry, indoor surfaces.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
Do not allow the vacuum cleaner to be used as a toy.
Do not allow the vacuum cleaner to run unattended at any time.
Use the vacuum cleaner only for its intended use as described in
these instructions.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner without a dust bin.
Empty the dust bin before it is full in order to maintain the best
effi ciency.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner to pick up matches, live ashes or
cigarette butts.
Keep the vacuum cleaner away from stoves and other heat
sources.
Heat can deform and discolour the plastic parts of the unit.

Avoid picking up hard, sharp objects with the vacuum cleaner as
they may damage the cleaner parts.
Do not stand on the hose assembly.
Do not put weight on the hose.
Do not block the suction or the exhaust port.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
Unplug the adapter from the outlet when not in use and before
servicing.
Don’t carry the vacuum cleaner by holding the hose.
Use the handle on the vacuum cleaner set.

VACUUM CLEANER
Do not pick up hard or sharp objects such as glass, nails,
screws, coins, and etc.
Do not use without a fi lter in place.
When servicing the unit, never put fi ngers or other objects into
the fan chamber in case the unit accidentally turns on.
Do not put any objects into openings.
Do not use with any openings blocked; keep openings free of
dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air fl ow.
Do not pick up toxic materials (chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain
cleaner, etc.).
Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoke, such as
cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
Do not use to pick up fl ammable or combustible liquids such as
gasoline, nor use on areas where they may be present.
Do not use vacuum cleaner in an enclosed space fi lled with
vapours given off by oil based paint, paint thinner, moth proofi ng
substances, fl ammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapours.
Do not mutilate or incinerate batteries as they will explode at
high temperatures.

BATTERY ADAPTER
Do not modify the polarized plug to fi t a non-polarized outlet or
extension cord.
Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
Do not charge the unit outdoors.
Unplug the adapter from the outlet when not in use and before
servicing.
Use only the adapter supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
Do not use with a damaged cord or plug.
Do not pull or carry by the cord, use the cord as a handle, close
the door on the cord, or pull the cord around sharp edges or
corners.
Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not use extension cords or outlets with inadequate current
carrying capacity.
Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
Do not attempt to open the adapter.
Repairs should only be carried out by a qualifi ed customer care
centre.
Do not expose the adapter to high temperatures or allow
moisture or humidity of any kind to come into contact with the
adapter.
Do not incinerate the appliance even if it is severely damaged.
The batteries can explode in a fi re.
Contact the Samsung Electronics customer care center to
replace the battery.

BEFORE USING THE VACUUM CLEANER
Pipe
Adjust the length of the pipe by sliding the
length control button located in the center of
the telescopic pipe.
For storage, park the fl oor nozzle
Do not pick up a machine while the
oor nozzle parked.

PREPARING FOR USE & CHARGING CLEANER
To charge the battery for the fi rst time
The rechargeable battery is not fully charged
when it is fi rst supplied.
Before using the vacuum cleaner for the fi rst
time, it is advisable to charge the battery fully
by adapter.
Install the adapter on a fl at surface and
then plug the power cable.
Connect the adapter to the main body.
(When the adapter and the main body are
assembled, the led turns on.)

You can check the status of the battery
charge at the main body.
CAUTION
When removing the plug from the electrical outlet, grasp the plug,
not the cord.

OPERATING CLEANER
Before charging is completed, the
battery charge indicator is dimming.
After approximately 4hours all the sections
of the battery charge indicator are lit up,
showing that the battery is fully charged.
When the light (main body) is full, the charge
is completed.
During using, please be sure to charge the
cleaner when the last light blinks quickly.

During charging, the main body is not working.
NOTE
Charge the product in the following cases.
- When using the product for the fi rst time after purchasing it or after not using it
for a long period.
- When the battery level is low and the suction power is weak.
To charge the battery fully when the battery is discharged takes approximately 4
hours.
If you separate the cleaner from the adapter, the battery is naturally discharged.
- It is recommended that you keep the cleaner connected to the adapter.
(However, if you are going on a business trip or holiday, disconnect the power
cord of the adapter from the wall outlet.)
Depending on the level of the battery, there may be differences in the noise.

ABOUT THE BATTERY
The powerful Li-lon battery has been used.
The warranty for the battery is 6 months from the
time of purchase.
To purchase a new battery, please contact the service
center.
Since this battery is only for this cleaner, do not use it for
other appliances or purposes.
Do not disassemble or modify the product.
Charge the product in a well-ventilated location.
Do not expose the battery to heat or fi re.
Do not connect metal objects to the (+) or (-) terminal.
Keep the product indoors (0°C~40°C).
When the battery is not working correctly, do not disassemble it.
Contact your nearest Service Center.
If the battery charge and usage time have decreased after the battery has been used a few
times, please replace the battery by contacting the Service center as the battery life may
have reached its end.
Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme usage or temperature conditions.
If the liquid gets on skin, wash quickly with water.
If the liquid gets into the eyes, fl ush them immediately with clean water for a minimum of
10 minutes. Seek medical attention.
To extend battery life
It is advantageous to recharge the battery after the battery is fully discharged.

DUST SENSOR (OPTION)
Dust Sensor Operations
Indicates the amount of dust being picked
up and passing by the sensor which assist
the user to clean more ef ciently.
The dust sensor is activated automatically
when the cleaner runs and is turned off
when the cleaner is stopped.
Green : Amount of dust passing
sensor is small.
Red : Amount of dust passing sensor
is large.
If the red light does not light up
when cleaning a dusty location
- Clean the sensors (2EA) with a dry
cloth.
- Take care when you use the cleaner
because the dust sensor may
malfunction or may break due to an
impact.
Installing the Batteries
If the dest sensor does not work, change the
batteries.
