1 Einleitung

Die nachfolgenden Texte stammen aus verschiedensprachigen Quellen. Um die Identität der Ursprungstexte zu erhalten, wurden sie sprachlich unverändert in

diese Empfehlung übernommen.

Alle Texte müssen in der Zielsprache in der Bedienungsanleitung abgedruckt werden.

Die nummerierten Absätze dienen ausschließlich der Strukturierung dieser Empfehlung und sind somit nicht in die Bedienungsanleitung zu übernehmen.

Die in dieser Empfehlung verwendeten Labels/Logos können bei Bedarf beim Ersteller dieser Empfehlung angefordert werden (siehe unten).

2 Generelle Produktbezeichnung

In einigen Ländern wird die generelle Bezeichnung des „Funkproduktes“ im Handbuch erwartet mit dem die eindeutige Erkennung und Verbindung von Produkt

mit Produktlabel, Zertifikat dazu und Bedienerhandbuch hergestellt werden kann.

So ist die Empfehlung auch im Bedienerhandbuch den Equipment Name / Model name: „HERMES 3.0” mit aufzunehmen um Nachfragen von Zoll oder

Marktüberwachung zu vermeiden.

3 EG-Konformitätserklärung (Kurzfassung)

3.1 Deutsche Version

Hiermit erklärt Harman Becker Automotive Systems GmbH, dass sich das Gerät HERMES 3.0 in Übereinstimmung mit den grundlegenden Anforderungen und

den übrigen einschlägigen Bestimmungen der Richtlinie 2014/53/EU („Radio Equipment Directive - RED“) befindet.

Das Abdrucken der Kurzfassung der EG-Konformitätserklärung (Declaration of Conformity) in der Bedienungsanleitung, sowie die Bereitstellung der

Langfassung an den Endkunden, ist gesetzlich vorgeschrieben.

Als Alternative kann auch die Langfassung in der Bedienungsanleitung abgedruckt werden, wobei mit der neuen Gesetzgebung 2014/53/EU (RE-Directive) die

Bereitstellung der Langfassung über eine Internetadresse gefordert wird und die beste Möglichkeit zur aktualisierten Information des Endkunden bietet.

Da das CE-Logo für alle Fremdsprachen gleich ist, wurde nachfolgend auf die Darstellung verzichtet.

Nach neuem EU-Gesetz „RED“ kann auf den Abdruck des CE-logos im Bedienerhandbuch verzichtet werden.

Für die Überschrift existiert keine fremdsprachige Standardvorlage, sie muss in die jeweilige Fremdsprache übersetzt werden.

The user manual or instruction manual for an intentional radiator shall caution the user that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party

responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. In cases where the manual is provided only in a form other than paper,

such as on a computer disk or over the Internet, the information required by this section may be included in the manual in that alternative form, provided the

user can reasonably be expected to have the capability to access information in that form.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

RF Exposure Requirements

The maximum reported* SAR values for transmitting systems are shown in a table below. The device conforms to the requirements of the standards when the

11 Konformitätsinformationen Mexico (nur für Mexico - Systeme notwendig)

As set out in Chapter 4 of the 'Disposición Técnica IFT-008-2015', the user manual of any radio equipment for spread spectrum comply with the following conditions:

1) The user manual must be written in Spanish and contains sufficient, clear and true information and must not confuse the consumer in terms of Article 32 of the

Federal Law of Consumer Protection (LFPC).

2) The user manual must contain the following legend or its equivalent in a remarkable position:

'Para cumplimiento de la Ifetel:

'La operación de este equipo está sujeta a las siguientes dos condiciones:

(1) es posible que este equipo o dispositivo no cause interferencia perjudicial y

Decision No. 879, “Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means" (CU TR 020/2011) (same requirements for Decision No. 768 “On the safety

of low-voltage equipment” (ТР ТС ТС 004/2011))

According to this decision:

• Article 5: The minimun requirements for the user manual are:

15. User manual shall be executed in hard copy. A set of operating documents in electronic format may be attached therewith. User manual attached

to technical devices for non-household purposes may be executed in electronic format only.

1. The conformity mark shall be affixed on the device and on the user manual.

4. For BSMI safety, rating (voltage and current) and operation temperature.

5. NCC caution statement. The following warning statement should be written in Chinese:

'Any changes or modifications are not allowed. The product is subject to not cause harmful interference to radio communications and air flight safety. If this

equipment does cause interference, which can be determined stop shipping till the product is improved.

This device may not cause harmful interference, and this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.'

According to Annex 4 of the ‘RRA - Notice on Conformity Assessment of Broadcasting and Communications Equipment’, the User Manual should

include an overview of the equipment, specifications, configuration and operation methods of the device.

For equipment subject to EMC standards, only applicable to Class A Equipment (Industrial Broadcasting & Communication Equipment), the user
