Soft start / stop interfaces are required whenever an
electrical engine is powered through a rather sensitive device.
Especially when starting an electrical engine by applying
nominal voltage to its terminals, a huge current spike
appears in the circuit. If, for example, the above-mentioned
engine is powered from an UPS or AVR, this sudden current
spike can easily trigger the overload protection in the UPS/
AVR, which halts the UPS into error state and shuts down the
electrical power. Even if the engine is powered directly from
the power socket, this spike can cause the electrical fuse to go
o. To avoid this risk, the soft start module interface powers
the engine gradually, starting from a much lower voltage
and increasing gradually to the nominal voltage in an user-
dened period of time. The area of usability is very large,
from any domestic appliances that use electrical engines
(central heating unit, etc.) to water pumps, wood gaters etc.

Installation

Step 1.
Remove the plastic protection cover and unscrew the
outputs terminals. Connect the electrical engine to the
output terminals and tighten the screws position.
Step 2.
Make sure the power cord is not plugged in and connected
to the input terminals.
Note! Connect the FAN wires to input terminals, if 2kW
module is installed. Tighten the screws and put back the
plastic protection cover.
Step 3.
Make sure that the switch control (3) has the jumper
connected and Plug in the power cord to the grid socket to
soft start.
This soft start module is designed for indoor use only.
Before installation, please inspect the unit. Be sure that
nothing inside the package is damaged.

Operation:

With jumper always connected, only soft-start
is available by directly controlling input power
switch on/o.
Remarks: For safety and easy operation , instead
of the jumper it is recommended to install a
power switch.
Adjustable starting voltage ( 5 ) – set the starting
output voltage that is delivered upon powering
the device or closing the ‘switch’ terminals.
Adjustable ramping time (4) – set the time at
which the output voltage increases from the
starting voltage to the rated voltage (220V a.c.).

rezervei de energie din diferite medii de utilizare, de la
rezidential la industrial.
Interfetele Soft Start/Stop sunt necesare ori de cate ori
un motor electric e alimentat printr-un dispozitiv sensibil
la socurile de curent. In special in momentul pornirii unui
motor electric prin aplicarea tensiunii nominale la borne,
prin circuit apare la pornire, un curent de intensitate foarte
mare. Daca, de exemplu, respectivul motor e alimentat
printr-un UPS sau AVR, acest varf de curent poate cauza
intrarea UPS-ului (AVR-ului) in protectie la supracurent,
lucru care opreste functionarea UPS-ului si intreruperea
alimentarii cu curent. Chiar daca motorul este alimentat
direct de la o priza de curent normala (rezidentiala),
varful de curent poate provoca activarea sigurantelor.
Pentru a evita aceste neajunsuri, modulul Soft Start
alimenteaza motorul progresiv, incepand de la o tensiune
mult mai mica si crescand aceasta tensiune pana la
valoarea nominala intr-un timp predenit de utilizator.

Instalare 5
Pasul 1.
Demontati protectia de plastic si slabiti cele 2 suruburi ale
iesirii. Conectati motorul electric la aceste terminale si
strangeti suruburile.
Pasul 2.
Asigurati-va ca cablul de alimentare nu e conectat la priza.
Slabiti suruburile intrarii. Conectati cablul de alimentare
la aceste 2 terminale si strangeti suruburile.
OBS! pentru modelul 2KW conectati si cele 2 re ale
ventilatorului la terminalele A – B.
Pasul 3.
Puneti inapoi capacul de protectie din plastic. Asigurati-va
ca conectorul pentru intrerupatorul de comanda (3) are
jumper-ul conectat. Introduceti cablul de alimentare in
priza pentru a porni motorul.
A nu se expune intemperiilor, umezelii, caldurii
excesive. Inainte de instalare vericati integritatea
produsului si a celorlalte componente din cutie.

Operare:

Conectorul pentru intrerupatorul de comanda:
Inchis (jumperul pus) – soft start; deschis
(jumperul scos)
– soft stop. Cu jumperul pus, numai soft-start-
ul e functional, prin introducerea cablului de
alimentare in priza de curent.
OBS: Pentru siguranta si usurinta in exploatare,
in locul jumper-ului se recomanda montarea
unui întrerupător
Butonul de reglaj tensiune (5) – se ajusteaza
tensiunea initiala de pornire
Butonul de reglaj timp (4) – se ajusteaza timpul
de rampa (timpul in care tensiunea creste de
la cea initiala (stabilita din butonul 5) la cea
nominala (220V c.a.)
