WARNING! Read the instruction manual carefully
before using the appliance. Read all safety warnings and
all instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in
electric shock, re and/or serious injury.
WARNING: Operators shall be adequately instructed on the
use of these machines.

children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
This appliance may only be operated under supervision.
Fire and explosion hazard!
Never suck up into the machine any inammable or explosive
solvents, or liquids like petrol, oil, alcohol, thinners, or small
particles (such as metal lings or ash) that may be hotter than 60°C
- otherwise there is danger of explosion or re!
You are not allowed to use the appliance in the vicinity of inam-
mable gases or substances.
Do not point the nozzle, hose or tube at people or animals.
Keep hair, loose clothing, ngers and all parts of the body away
from openings and moving parts. Do not put any objects into
openings or use with opening blocked. Keep openings free of dust,
lint, hair, and anything else that could reduce the ow of air.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of re, personal injury, and product
damage due to a short circuit, never immerse your tool, battery
pack or charger in uid or allow a uid to ow inside them.
Corrosive or conductive uids, such as seawater, certain industrial
chemicals, and bleach or bleach containing products, etc., Can
cause a short circuit.
Never break open battery packs and chargers and store only in dry
rooms. Keep dry at all times.
Use only System M18 chargers for charging System M18 battery
packs. Do not use battery packs from other systems.
Before starting work, the operating sta must be informed on and
trained within:
use of the machine

This mobile dust extractor is designed, developed and rigorously
tested to function eciently and safely when properly maintained
and used in accordance with the following instructions.
The vacuum cleaners described in this operating manual are
suitable for
commercial use, e.g. in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories,
shops, oces and rental businesses.
industrial use, such as e.g. plants, construction sites and
workshops.
for separation of dust with an exposure limit of greater than 1
mg/m³, (dust class L).
WARNING: This machine is for dry use only.
The following materials should not be picked up by the vacuum
cleaner
hazardous dusts which belong to the classes M and H
hot materials (burning cigarettes, hot ash, etc.)
ammable, explosive, aggressive liquids (e.g. petrol, solvents,
acids, alkalis, etc.)
ammable, explosive dust (e.g. magnesium or aluminium dust,
etc.)
For Dust Class L machines (with type designation -0L, -2L)
following applies:
The appliance is suitable for picking up dry, non-ammable
dust, hazardous dusts with OEL value > 1mg/m³.
Dust Class L (IEC 60335-2-69)
The dusts which belong to this class have OEL values > 1mg/m³
For machines intended for the Dust Class L, the lter material is
tested. The maximum degree of permeability is 1% and there is
no special requirement for disposal.
For dust extractors, ensure adequate air change rate L, when
the exhaust air is returned to the room.
Besides the operating instructions and the binding accident pre-
vention regulations valid in the country of use, observe recognised
regulations for safety and proper use.
Accidents due to misuse can only be prevented by those using the
machine.
READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
Any other use is considered as improper use. The manufacturer
accepts no liability for any damage resulting from such use.
The risk for such use is borne solely by the user. Proper use also
includes proper operation, servicing and repairs as specied by the
manufacturer.
BATTERIES
Battery packs which have not been used for some time should be
recharged before use.
Temperatures in excess of 50°C (122°F) reduce the performance of
the battery pack. Avoid extended exposure to heat or sunshine (risk
of overheating).
The contacts of chargers and battery packs must be kept clean.
For an optimum life-time, the battery packs have to be fully
charged, after use.
To obtain the longest possible battery life remove the battery pack
from the charger once it is fully charged.
For battery pack storage longer than 30 days: Store the battery
pack where the temperature is below 27°C and away from moisture
Store the battery packs in a 30% - 50% charged condition Every six
months of storage, charge the pack as normal.
Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the appliance
before being charged;
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance and
safely disposed of.
If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the
batteries should be removed.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES
Lithium-ion batteries are subject to the Dangerous Goods Legisla-
tion requirements.
Transportation of those batteries has to be done in accordance with
local, national and international provisions and regulations.
The user can transport the batteries by road without further
requirements.
Commercial transport of Lithium-Ion batteries by third parties is
subject to Dangerous Goods regulations. Transport preparation and
transport are exclusively to be carried out by appropriately trained
persons and the process has to be accompanied by corresponding
experts.
When transporting batteries:
Ensure that battery contact terminals are protected and insulated
to prevent short circuit. Ensure that battery pack is secured against
movement within packaging. Do not transport batteries that are
cracked or leak. Check with forwarding company for further advice..
BATTERY PACK PROTECTION
In extremely high torque, binding, stalling and short circuit
situations that cause high current draw, the tool will stop for about
2 seconds and then the tool will turn OFF.
To reset, release the trigger.
Under extreme circumstances, the internal temperature of the
battery pack could raise too much. If this happens, the fuel gauge
will ash until the battery pack cooled down. After the lights go o,
the work may continue.
Place the battery on the charger to charge and reset it.
WORKING INSTRUCTIONS
Only use the appliance if it is in perfect condition. Never use the
dust extractor without a lter, or if the lter is damaged.
Do not use any unsafe work techniques.
Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
Discard lter elements, lter bags and disposal bags in accordance
with the national regulations.
CAUTION: This machine is for indoor use only.
Provide for good ventilation at the working place.
If the machine is not working properly or has been dropped,
damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service
center or dealer.
MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND REPAIR
Remove the battery pack before starting any work on the
appliance.
Only carry out maintenance work described in the operating
instructions.
The ventilation slots of the machine must be kept clear at all times.
The detachable parts (include dust collector) should be removed
for cleaning.

Depending on the number of running hours – the dust lter should
be renewed. Keep the machine clean with a dry cloth, and a small
amount of spray polish.
Never spray water on to the upper section of the vacuum cleaner.
Danger for persons, risk or short-circuiting.
For user servicing, the machine must be dismantled, cleaned and
serviced, as far as is reasonably practicable, without causing risk
to the maintenance sta and others. Suitable precautions include
decontamination before dismantling, provision for local ltered
exhaust ventilation where the machine is dismantled, cleaning of
the maintenance area and suitable personal protection.
During maintenance and repair work all contaminated parts that
could not be cleaned satisfactorily must be:
Packed in well sealed bags
Disposed of in a manner that complies with valid regulations for
such waste removal.
