Cleaning
CAUTION
Possible damage to the appliance!
► Protect the appliance from moisture and liquid penetration.
► To avoid irreparable damage to the appliance, never submerse the appliance
in water.
► Ensure that you remove the power adapter

from the mains power socket
before cleaning the appliance.
► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage
the surface of the housing.
► Never clean the water tank

■ Clean the water tank

regularly every two weeks to avoid mould and bacteria.
To do this, fill the water tank

with lukewarm water and add a commercial
detergent. Rinse it out several times with lukewarm water. Furthermore, we recom-
mend disinfecting after cleaning. To do this, use a commercial, alcohol-based
disinfectant or one containing a high percentage of alcohol. Both substances are
completely harmless if you rinse out several times with lukewarm water afterwards.
■ Remove any dust deposits on the air intake and outlet openings (

+ ) using
a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. In order to clean the interior cooling ribs, remove
the cover on the air outlet opening , and pull the water tank

out of the
appliance. Also clean the cooling ribs with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner.
■ Clean the housing only with a soft damp cloth and a mild washing-up liquid.
Storage
■ Disconnect the power adapter

from the appliance and empty the water
tank

, if you are not intending to use the appliance for some time.
■ Store the appliance in a dry and dust-free environment.
Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance in normal domestic waste.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your
community waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations.
