Introduction

Please make yourself familiar with the

foot warmer before preparing it for use

or using it for the ﬁrst time. Please read

the following operating instructions and the impor-

tant safety instructions carefully. Always use the foot

warmer only as described and for the stated areas

of use. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you

pass the foot warmer on to anyone else, please en-

sure that you also pass on all the documentation.

Proper use

This foot warmer is intended for applying heat to

the human body. Do not use the foot warmer wear-

ing shoes, as this would reduce your sensitivity to

heat and also soil the foot warmer. This foot warmer

is not intended for use in hospitals or for commer-

cial use. In particular it must not be used for babies

described in these operating instructions.

This foot warmer is not intended for use in

hospitals or for commercial use.

warner or whose physical, sensory or intellec-

tual capacities are limited must never be

allowed to use the foot warmer without supervi-

sion or instruction by a person responsible for

aﬀected by illness or who have scarred skin in

the area where the heat will be applied, or

Do not use the foot warmer on

RISK OF INJURY FROM

BURNS! Excessively long use can

cause skin burns.

ATTENTION! Do not fall asleep under any

circumstances while the foot warner is in opera-

tion. There is a risk of receiving skin burns.

Under certain circumstances, the

electrical and magnetic ﬁelds emit-

ted from the foot warmer could

interfere with the proper functioning of your

heart pacemaker. However, the levels are far

below the permissible limits: electric ﬁeld

strength: max. 5000 V / m, magnetic ﬁeld

strength: max. 80 A / m magnetic ﬂux density:

max. 0.1 milli-Tesla. Ask your doctor and, if

relevant, the manufacturer of your heart pace-

maker before you use this foot warmer.

Avoid damage to the foot

heat up slightly during operation. For this rea-

son, the control unit

be lying on the foot warmer during operation.

or damage. If you ﬁnd such signs of damage,

if the cables are damaged or if the foot

warmer has not been used properly, it must be

returned to the manufacturer or to the service

department before it is used again. There is a

danger of electric shock and injury.

Repairs must only be carried out by specially

trained personnel or at a repair shop author-

ised by the manufacturer, since special tools

are necessary. Unsatisfactory repairs can lead

to considerable danger for the user.

Only have the foot warmer re-

paired by qualiﬁed specialist personnel using

OEM spare parts. This will ensure your foot

warmer remains safe to use.

If the mains power cable of the

foot warmer is damaged, it has to be replaced

by the manufacturer or its service department

or a similarly qualiﬁed person in order to avoid

hazards.

Safety system

Note: This foot warmer is equipped with a safety

system. The electronic sensor technology prevents

the entire surface of the foot warmer from overheat-

ing by automatically switching oﬀ in the event of a

fault. If the safety system switches the foot warmer

oﬀ automatically due to a fault, then the function

display

on the control unit

is no longer illu-

minated, even if the heating pad is switched on.

Please note that, for safety reasons, the foot

warmer must not be used after a fault and must

be returned to the service address indicated.

Preparing the product for use

Note: When the foot warmer is used for the ﬁrst

time, you may notice a smell of plastic; however,

this will disappear after a short time.

Switching on / oﬀ / Selecting

the temperature

Insert the mains plug into the mains socket.

Switching on:

Set Level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 on the control

unit

to switch the foot warmer on.

Note: The function display

illuminates

after the foot warmer is switched on.

Note: This foot warmer features rapid heating,

which allows it to heat up within the ﬁrst 15

minutes of operation.

Switching off:

Set Level 0 on the control unit

to switch the

foot warmer oﬀ.

Note: the function display

ceases to illuminate.

Selecting the temperature:

Just before using the heating pad, set it to the

highest temperature setting (setting 6). This will

cause the heating pad to warm up quickly.

If you are going to use the foot warmer for a

number of hours, set it to the lowest tempera-

ture setting (setting 1).

The foot warmer can of course be used at any

time if it is switched oﬀ. Its teddy plush lining

will warm your feet even if an electric socket is

nowhere near.

Automatic switch-oﬀ

Note: The foot warmer switches itself oﬀ automati-

cally after about 90 minutes. The function display

then starts to ﬂash.

Then select the setting 0 and after about

5 seconds, reset the foot warmer to the desired

temperature setting to switch it on again.

Switch the foot warmer oﬀ (setting 0) and pull

the mains plug out of the mains socket if the

heating pad is not to be used after it has

switched itself oﬀ automatically.

Cleaning and Care

The foot warmer should be kept clean as it

may not be washed.

DANGER TO

LIFE BY ELECTRIC SHOCK! Re-

move the mains plug from the socket

before you clean the foot warmer. There is

otherwise a risk of an electric shock.

Small stains can be removed with a cloth or

moist sponge and if necessary with a little mild

detergent. The foot warmer may not become

saturated. There is otherwise a risk of an elec-

tric shock.

RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE

PRODUCT OR PROPERTY!

Please note that the foot warmer

must not be washed in a machine, spin-dried or

tumbler-dried, dry-cleaned, wrung out, man-

gled or ironed. The foot warmer It may other-

wise be damaged.

If you do not intend to use the foot warmer for

any length of time, store it in the original pack-

aging in a dry environment and without weigh-

Disposal

The packaging and packaging material

consist of environmentally friendly mate-

rials. They can be disposed of at your

local recycling facility.

2002 / 96 / EC relating to old electrical and elec-

tronic appliances and its translation into national

law, used electrical equipment must be collected

separately and recycled in an ecologically compat-

ible way.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for

more details of how to dispose of your worn out

foot warmer.

Warranty / Service centre

We provide a 3-year warranty covering faults in

materials or manufacture of the product from the

purchase date.

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage resulting from improper use.

• Wear parts.

• Defects that were known to the customer at the

time of purchase.

• Damage for which the customer was responsible.

This warranty does not aﬀect the customer‘s legal

rights.

The customer must provide proof of purchase in

order for any warranty claims within the warranty

period to be honoured. Claims under the warranty

diﬃculties encountered during use. Many of these

complaints can be resolved by telephone or email.

Ovaj grijač za noge je namijenjen za zagrijavanje

ljudskih nogu. Ne koristite ovaj grijač za noge kada

imate obuvene cipele, jer nećete dovoljno osjetiti

toplinu koju proizvodi grijač za noge, te Vam se isti

Kako bi uključili grijač za noge namjestite na

dijelu za upravljanje

stupanj 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

ili 6.

Napomena: Nakon uključivanja grijača za

noge zasvijetli pokazivač funkcioniranja

Napomena: Ovaj grijač za noge raspolaže

funkcijom brzog grijanja, koja omogućuje brzo

zagrijavanje u roku od 15 minuta.

Isključivanje:

Namjestite na dijelu za upravljanje

stupanj

0, kako biste isključiti grijač za noge.

Odabir temperature:

Kratko prije primjene namjestite najveći stupanj

temperature (stupanj 6). Na taj način postižete

brže zagrijavanje.

Za primjenu preko nekoliko sati, namjestite

najniži stupanj temperature (stupanj 1).

Grijač za noge može se naravno koristiti i

kada je isključen. Njegova podstava grije i

kada u blizini nemate utikač.

utikač iz utičnice, ako više ne želite koristiti

Čišćenje i održavanje

Grijač za noge držite u čistom stanju, jer se ne

smije prati.
