1 About this product
The Potrero415 conference table by Coalesse
(Steelcase brand) is subject to continuous quality
control during manufacture and distribution. This
ensures fault-free functionality.
The product is designed according to the state of
the art (in Germany at the time of construction)
and recognised safety rules. However, hazards may
still arise. Please follow the respective safety
instructions! Malfunctions that could impair safety
must be eliminated immediately. We reserve the
right to make technical changes to the products for
technical reasons.
Steelcase applies a quality management system
that meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001.
The Potrero415 product range complies with EN
15372 (Level 2).
Steelcase carries the eco-audit seal of the "Eco
Management and Audit Scheme".
1.1 Intended use
The Potrero415 conference table is exclusively
designed to be used as office furniture. Any other
use or extended use is considered improper.
Intended use also includes following all
instructions in the User's Manual!
1.1.1 Foreseeable misuse
Improper use of the product may result in dangers
to life and limb as well as property damage. For this
reason, improper use is prohibited. In case of
improper use, Steelcase assumes no liability for any
damage that may occur and does not guarantee
that the components will function properly.
Improper use includes:
■ Loading of objects with a total weight of more
than 100 kg.
■ Use in combination with products that are not
Steelcase products.
■ Outdoor use.
■ Use in damp rooms.
The list does not claim to be exhaustive.
1.1.2 Users with limitations
Children from the age of 8 and individuals with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack
of experience and knowledge may use the
Potrero415 conference table:
■ under supervision;
■ after instructions in safe use;
■ when they recognise and understand the
potential danger situations.
Children are not allowed to play with the
conference table.
Children may not carry out cleaning and
maintenance tasks.

2.1 Safety instructions
You may only use and operate the Potrero415
conference table in a technically perfect condition
and in compliance with the User's Manual.
The user of the Potrero415 conference table
undertakes to follow the safety instructions and
warnings in this User's Manual.
Besides the User's Manual, the owner must provide
and observe the general and local accident
prevention and environmental protection
regulations.
2.2 Safety instructions and
warnings
To prevent personal injury and damage to property,
this User's Manual includes warnings at the
appropriate locations. The symbols and signal
words have the following meaning:

death or severe injury if the safety precautions are
not followed.

The Potrero415 conference table is used as office
furniture. It is available in several models, sizes and
surface finishes and can be equipped with various
accessories.
For dimensions and weight of your product, please
refer to the delivery note.

4 Transport and storage
4.1 Safety instructions
Risk of injury and damage!
Transporting a table that has already been
assembled may result in injury or damage.
Only transport the conference table
when it has been dissassembled!
CAUTION
Risk of damage!
Moving the Potrero415 conference table
will cause the adjusting wheels to rotate
and possible damage to the table may
occur.
4.2 Interim storage
If the conference table has to be temporarily stored
before installation, the following conditions should
be fulfilled:
■ Undamaged transport packaging
■ Sufficient carrying capacity of the floor
■ Dry floor
■ Level storage surface
■ Temperature range +5 °C to +40 °C
■ Max. rel. humidity: 80 %
4.3 Checking the delivery
contents
After unpacking, check the product immediately for
transport damage and completeness; if applicable,
inform the manufacturer as soon as possible of any
damage.
4.4 Disposing the packaging
material
The packaging includes the following:
■ Outer packaging made of cardboard
■ Bubble wrap made of polyethylene (PE)
■ Edge protectors made of cardboard or
polyethylene (PE)
■ Corner protectors made of polyethylene (PE)
These materials are recyclable. If assembled by
Steelcase or an assembly company authorised by
Steelcase, the manufacturer will dispose of the
packaging. If you install yourself, please ensure
sorted separation and return to the recycling cycle.
4.5 Conference table assembly
For assembly of the Potrero415 conference table,
please follow the attached assembly instructions.
Steelcase recommends that a specialist
dealer or assembly company carries out
the assembly.
Setup and use of the product require detailed
planning. For this purpose, Steelcase AG offers its
own planning department.
The partially assembled components of the
Potrero415 conference table are usually delivered
by specialist dealers or directly from the
manufacturer.
4.6 Attaching accessories
For attaching accessories such as cable ducts or
power connections on the Potrero415 conference
table, please refer to the enclosed assembly
instructions.
4.7 Conference table
disassembly
The Potrero415 conference table can be
disassembled. Disassembly should be carried out by
qualified personnel. Ask the manufacturer for
disassembly instructions.
Before you disassemble the conference table:
Remove all objects from the conference table.
First remove the glass top (optional)
If
you want to disassemble the
Potrero415
conference table for good and
dispose of it, follow the instructions
under
Disposal, page 10.

5.1 Safety instructions
The Potrero415 conference table should only be
used and operated in faultless condition and in
compliance with the instructions in the user
manual.
Before attaching desk utensils to accessories,
ensure the following:
■ Ensure that the conference table has been
assembled in accordance with the provided
assembly instructions.
■ The maximum permissible load-bearing
capacity of the conference table and of the
accessories must not be exceeded.
Danger from electrical
voltage!
The metal fasteners between table top and
table frame may be energised in case of
damage to live cables and connectors.
Do not earth electrical
devices on the table frame!
Risk of injury and damage!
When loading the assembled conference
table or its accessories with a weight higher
than the approved weight, the fastening
screws may t
ear.
Note the permissible weight.
Risk of injury and damage!
Transporting a table that has already been
assembled may result in injury or damage.
Only transport the conference table
when it has been dissassembled!
Liquids damage the contacts of the
sockets!
Do not pour liquids over the cable ducts
or sockets!
The arrangement of more than 3
sockets can lead to damage to the
electrical installation!
Connect a maximum of 3 sockets to
each other!
The table is only
voltage-
free if all plugs
are disconnected from the mains.

maintenance and repair work.
Only use suitable tools for these
operations!

The components of the Potrero415 conference
table should be checked for their functionality at
regular intervals.

Only authorised specialist personnel may carry out
maintenance work. For this purpose, please contact
our customer service (see

).
Check conference table and fastening
elements for damage and cracks.
CAUTION
Using unapproved spare parts may
cause damage to the conference table.
Only components provided
by Steelcase
may be used as spare parts.
Coordinate
the installation of differing parts with
Steelcase.

■ Inadequate monitoring of the product

■ Maintenance through a third party.

6.3.2 Cleaning and care

Aggressive cleaning agents may cause
product damage or discolouration!
Use only care and cleaning agents
that
are suitable for the respective materials
(wood, plastic, metal, etc.).
Remove dust and dirt from the conference
table and installed accessories periodically.

Disassembly should be carried out by qualified
personnel.
If you want to remove and dispose of the
Potrero415 conference table permanently,
proceed as follows:
Remove the glass top (optional).
Disassemble the conference table.
Separate the resulting parts according to
– reusable components
– material groups to be disposed of (wood,
metal, plastic, electrical parts, etc.)
and return them to the recycling process. Follow all
applicable regional regulations. When dismantling,
also follow the instructions for dismantling /
recycling.

deliver, assemble and set up the desk.
The manufacturer or a specialist retailer will instruct
the users.

x Weiterverkauf an Dritte, wenn diesem/diesen die Betriebsanleitung
nicht mitgeliefert wird.
x Katastrophenfälle durch Fremdkörpereinwirkung und höhere Gewalt.
Bei umfangreichen Montage-, Wartungs- und Entsorgungstätigkeiten
ist unbedingt qualifiziertes Fachpersonal heranzuziehen.

Der Konferenztisch Potrero415 von Coalesse
(Steelcase Marke) unterliegt in ihrer Fertigung und
in ihrem Vertrieb einer ständigen Qualitätskontrolle.
Somit wird die fehlerfreie Funktionalität
gewährleistet.
Das Produkt ist nach dem Stand der Technik (in
Deutschland zum Zeitpunkt der Konstruktion) und
den anerkannten sicherheitstechnischen Regeln
konstruiert. Trotzdem können Gefahren entstehen.
Beachten Sie hierzu die jeweiligen
Sicherheitshinweise! Störungen, die die Sicherheit
beeinträchtigen, sind umgehend zu beseitigen.
Änderungen an den Produkten aus technischen
Gründen behalten wir uns vor.
Steelcase wendet ein Qualitätsmanagement-System

Das Produkt Potrero415 erfüllt die Richtlinie EN

1.1 Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Der Konferenztisch Potrero415 ist ausschließlich
für den Einsatz als Büromöbel konzipiert. Eine
andere oder darüberhinausgehende Benutzung gilt
als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.

ur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung
gehört auch das Beachten aller Hinweise
aus der Bedienungsanleitung!
1.1.1 Vorhersehbarer Fehlgebrauch
Wird das Produkt nicht bestimmungsgemäß
verwendet, können sowohl Gefahren für Leib und
Leben als auch Sachbeschädigungen auftreten. Aus
diesem Grunde ist eine bestimmungswidrige
Verwendung untersagt. Bei nicht
bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung übernimmt
Steelcase keine Haftung für eventuell auftretende
Schäden und keine Garantie für einwandfreies und
funktionsgemäßes Arbeiten der Komponenten.
Mögliche bestimmungswidrige
Verwendungen:
Ŷ Beladung mit Gegenständen mit einem
Gesamtgewicht von mehr als 100 kg.
Ŷ Verwendung in Kombination mit Produkten, die
keine Steelcase-Produkte sind.
Ŷ Verwendung im Außenbereich.
Ŷ Verwendung in Feuchträumen.
Die Auflistung erhebt keinen Anspruch auf
Vollständigkeit.
1.1.2 Benutzer mit Einschränkungen
Der Konferenztisch Potrero415 kann von Kindern
ab 8 Jahren sowie von Personen mit verringerten
physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn:
Ŷ sie beaufsichtigt werden
Ŷ sie des sicheren Gebrauchs unterwiesen
wurden
Ŷ sie die potentiellen Gefahrsituationen erkennen
und verstehen
Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Konferenztisch
spielen.
Reinigung und Wartungsaufgaben dürfen
nicht von Kindern durchgeführt werden.

Der Konferenztisch Potrero415 darf nur in
technisch einwandfreiem Zustand und unter
Beachtung der Bedienungsanleitung benutzt und
bedient werden.
Der Benutzer des Konferenztisches Potrero415
verpflichtet sich, die Sicherheitsvorschriften und
Warnhinweise in dieser Bedienungsanleitung stets
zu beachten.
Ergänzend zur Bedienungsanleitung sind die
allgemeingültigen sowie die örtlichen Regelungen
zur Unfallverhütung und zum Umweltschutz vom
Besitzer bereitzustellen und zu beachten.

Zur Vermeidung von Personen- und Sachschäden
enthält diese Bedienungsanleitung an den

Der Konferenztisch Potrero415 dient als
Büromobiliar. Er ist in mehreren Modellen, Größen
und Oberflächenausführungen erhältlich und kann
mit verschiedenem Zubehör bestückt werden.

zur Veranschaulichung der Komponenten. Alle
Konferenztische können sowohl in einer Sitz- als

4 Transport und
Montage
4.1 Sicherheitsvorschriften
Gefahr von Verletzungen und
Beschädigungen!
Der Transport eines bereits montierten
T
isches kann zu Verletzungen oder
Beschädigungen führen.
Konferenztisch ausschließlich im
demontierten Zustand transportieren!

Beschädigungsgefahr!
Das Verschieben des Konferenztisches
Potrero415 führt zur Drehung der
Stellräder und möglichen Beschädigungen.
4.2 Zwischenlagerung
Soll der Konferenztisch vor dem Aufstellen
zwischengelagert werden, sind folgende
Bedingungen zu erfüllen:
Ŷ Unverletzte Transportverpackung
Ŷ Ausreichende Tragfähigkeit des Bodens
Ŷ Trockener Boden
Ŷ Ebene Abstellfläche
Ŷ Temperaturbereich +5 °C bis +40 °C
Ŷ Max. rel. Luftfeuchtigkeit 80 %
4.3 Lieferung prüfen
Nach dem Auspacken ist das Produkt sofort auf
Transportschäden und auf Vollständigkeit zu
überprüfen und ggf. ein Schaden dem Hersteller
schnellstmöglich zu melden.
4.4 Verpackungsmaterial
entsorgen
Die Verpackung besteht aus folgenden Materialien:
Ŷ Umverpackung aus Karton
Ŷ Bläschenfolie aus Polyethylen (PE)
Ŷ Kantenschützer aus Karton oder Polyethylen
(PE)
Ŷ Eckenschützer aus Polyethylen (PE)
Diese Materialien sind recyclingfähig. Bei Montage
durch Steelcase oder eines durch Steelcase
autorisierten Montageunternehmens wird die
Verpackung durch den Hersteller entsorgt. Sollten
Sie selbst montieren, so sorgen Sie bitte für
sortenreine Trennung und Rückführung in den
Wertstoffkreislauf.
4.5 Konferenztisch montieren
Für die Montage des Konferenztisches Potrero415
beachten Sie bitte die beigefügte
Montageanleitung.
Steelcase empfiehlt, die Montage durch
den Fachhandel bzw. durch ein
Montageunternehmen durchführen zu
lassen.
Die Aufstellung und die Verwendung des Produktes
bedarf einer ausführlichen Planung. Hierfür bietet
die Steelcase AG eine eigene Planungsabteilung an.
Die teilmontierten Baugruppen des
Konferenztisches Potrero415 werden in der Regel
über den Fachhandel oder direkt vom Hersteller
angeliefert.
4.6 Zubehör montieren
Für die Montage von Zubehör wie. Kabelkanal oder
Stromanschlüssen an dem Konferenztisch
Potrero415 beachten Sie bitte die beigefügte
Montageanleitung.
4.7 Konferenztisch
demontieren
Der Konferenztisch Potrero415 kann demontiert
werden. Die Demontage soll von hierzu
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.
Fragen Sie beim Hersteller nach einer
Demontageanleitung.
Bevor Sie der Konferenztisch demontieren:
Entfernen Sie alle Gegenstände vom
Konferenztisch.
Entfernen Sie zuerst die Glasplatte (optional)
Soll der Konferenztisch Potrero415
endgültig zerlegt und entsorgt werden,
beachten Sie die Hinweise unter

5 Bedienen und

5.1 Sicherheitsvorschriften
Der Konferenztisch Potrero415 darf nur in
technisch einwandfreiem Zustand und unter
Beachtung der Betriebsanleitung benutzt und
bedient werden.
Bevor Sie Schreibtischutensilien am Zubehör
anbringen, stellen Sie Folgendes sicher:
Ŷ Der Konferenztisch wurde gemäß der
beiliegenden Montageanleitung montiert.
Ŷ Die maximal zulässige Tragfähigkeit des
Konferenztisches und des Zubehörs darf nicht
überschritten werden.
Gefahr durch elektrische
Spannung!
Die metallischen Verbindungsteile zwischen
T
ischplatte und Tischgestell können bei
Schäden an stromführenden Kabeln und
V
erbindungen unter Spannung stehen.
Elektrische Geräte nicht am
Schreibtischgestell erden!
Gefahr von Verletzungen und
Beschädigungen!
Beim Belasten des montierten
Konferenztisches oder ihrem Zubehör mit
höherem als dem zugelassenen Gewicht
können die Befestigungsschauben reißen.
Zulässiges Gewicht beachten!
Gefahr von Verletzungen und
Beschädigungen!
Der Transport eines bereits montierten

isches kann zu Verletzungen oder
Beschädigungen führen.
Konferenztisch ausschließlich im

Flüssigkeiten beschädigen die
Kontakte der Steckdosen!
Keine Flüssigkeiten über die
Kabelkanäle oder Steckdosen schütten!
Die Aneinanderreihung von mehr als 3
Steckdosen kann zu Beschädigungen
der Elektrik Installation führen!
Maximal 3 Stromdosen aneinander
verbinden!
Der Tisch ist nur dann spannungsfrei,
wenn alle Stecker vom Stromnetz
getrennt sind.
