• The product is intended for private, non-com-

mercial use only.

• Protect the product from dirt, moisture

and overheating, and only use it in a dry

environment.

• Keep this product, as all electrical products,

out of the reach of children!

• Use the product for its intended purpose only.

• Do not use the product in the immediate

vicinity of heaters or other heat sources or in

direct sunlight.

• Do not operate the product outside the power

limits given in the specications.

• Do not use the product in areas where the

use of electronic devices is not permitted.

•Do not use the product in moist environments

and avoid splashes.

4. Introduction

The converter can be used universally, and has

a Scart input and a digital HDMI output. It is

used to convert an analogue image and audio

transmission into a digital signal. It therefore

allows you to connect playback devices that only

have a Scart interface, such as video recorders,

set-top boxes, DVD players or game consoles,

for example, to a monitor or at-screen TV with

a HDMI input.

5. Getting started and operation

Note

• Always refer to the operating instructions

for all the devices you are connecting.

• Lay all cables so that they do not pose a

tripping hazard.

• Do not bend or crush the cable.

Before installation, ensure that all devices to be

connected are switched off.

• Connect the Scart input (1) of the converter

to your playback device, for example, DVD

player or set-top box, using a Scart cable (not

included in delivery package).

• Connect the HDMI output (2) of the converter

to the corresponding input on a TV or monitor

using a HDMI cable (not included in delivery

package).

• Connect the supplied USB cable to the

‘DC/5V’ connection (3).

• Connect the USB cable to an unused USB

input on your PC or TV. The power LED (4)

lights up red.

• Alternatively, the converter can be operated

using a suitable USB power supply unit (not

included in delivery package). Please refer to

the operating instructions for the USB power

supply unit used.

Note

The output signal can be set to 1080p or

720p using the switch (5).

6. Care and Maintenanc

Note

Disconnect the device from the power supply

before cleaning it or if it is not going to be

used for a long period of time.

• Only clean this product with a slightly damp,

lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive

cleaning agents.

• Make sure that water does not get into the

product.

4. Einführung

Der Konverter ist universell einsetzbar und ver-

fügt über einen Scart-Eingang sowie einen digi-

talen HDMI-Ausgang. Er dient zur Umwandlung

einer analogen Bild- und Tonübertragung in ein

digitales Signal. Somit können Wiedergabege-

räte, die nur eine Scart-Schnittstelle haben, wie

z.B. Videorekorder, Set-Top-Boxen, DVD-Player

oder Spielekonsolen an ein Monitor oder Flat TV

mit HDMI-Eingang angeschlossen werden.

5. Inbetriebnahme und Betrieb

Hinweis

• Beachten Sie generell die

Bedienungsanleitungen aller zu

verbindenden Geräte.

• Verlegen Sie alle Kabel so, dass sie keine

Stolpergefahr darstellen.

•Knicken und quetschen Sie das Kabel nicht.

Stellen Sie vor der Installation sicher, dass alle

Geräte, die sie anschließen wollen, ausge-

schaltet sind.

• Verbinden Sie den Scart-Eingang (Scart-Input)

(1) des Konverters über ein Scart-Kabel

(nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) mit Ihrem

Wiedergabegerät, z.B. einem DVD- Player

oder einer Set-Top-Box.

• Verbinden Sie den HDMI-Ausgang (HDMI-

Output) (2) des Konverters über ein HDMI-

Kabel (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten)

mit dem entsprechenden Eingang eines

Fernsehers oder Monitors.

• Schließen Sie das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel am

Anschluss „DC/5V” (3) an.

• Verbinden Sie das USB-Kabel mit einem freien

USB Eingang Ihres PCs oder Ihres Fernsehers.

Die Power LED (4) leuchtet nun rot.

• Alternativ kann der Konverter über

ein geeignetes USB-Netzteil (nicht im

Lieferumfang enthalten) betrieben werden.

Beachten Sie hierzu die Bedienungsanleitung

des verwendeten USB-Netzteils.

Hinweis

Mit dem Umschalter (5) kann das

Ausgangssignal auf 1080p oder 720p

eingestellt werden.

6. Wartung und Pege

Hinweis

Trennen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung und

bei längerem Nichtgebrauch vom Netz.

• Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem

fusselfreien, leicht feuchten Tuch und verwen-

den Sie keine aggressiven Reiniger.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in das

Produkt eindringt.

7. Haftungsausschluss

Haftung oder Gewährleistung für Schäden, die

aus unsachgemäßer Installation, Montage und

unsachgemäßem Gebrauch des Produktes oder

4. Introduction

Le convertisseur peut être utilisé de façon uni-

verselle et dispose d’une entrée péritélévision et

d’une sortie HDMI numérique. Il sert à convertir

une transmission vidéo ou sonore analogique en

un signal numérique. Les lecteurs ne disposant

que d’une interface péritélévision, par ex. les

magnétoscopes, les récepteurs DVB-T externes,

les lecteurs DVD ou les consoles de jeu, peuvent

ainsi être raccordés à un écran ou à un téléviseur

à écran plat avec entrée HDMI.

5. Mise en service et fonctionnement

Remarque

• Veuillez consulter les modes d‘emploi

de chaque appareil que vous désirez

connecter.

• Posez tous les câbles de telle sorte qu’ils ne

présentent aucun risque de chute.

• Faites attention à ne pas plier ni coincer

le câble.

Avant l’installation, assurez-vous que tous les

appareils que vous souhaitez brancher sont

hors tension.

• Raccordez l’entrée péritélévision (Scart Input)

(1) du convertisseur à votre lecteur, par ex. un

lecteur DVD ou un récepteur DVB-T externe, à

l’aide d’un câble péritélévision (non fourni).

• Raccordez la sortie HDMI (HDMI Output) (2)

du convertisseur à l’entrée d’un téléviseur

ou d’un écran à l’aide d’un câble HDMI

(non fourni).

• Branchez le câble USB fourni au port «

DC/5V » (3).

• Branchez le câble USB à une entrée USB libre

de votre PC ou de votre téléviseur. La LED

Power (4) s’allume en rouge.

• En alternative, le convertisseur peut être

utilisé avec un bloc secteur USB adapté (non

fourni). Veuillez alors consulter le mode

d’emploi du bloc secteur USB utilisé.

Remarque

Le commutateur (5) permet de régler le signal

de sortie sur 1080p ou sur 720p.

6. Soins et entretien

Remarque

Débranchez l'appareil avant de procéder à

son nettoyage et en cas de non-utilisation

prolongée.

• Nettoyez le produit uniquement à l’aide d’un

chiffon non pelucheux légèrement humide ;

évitez tout détergent agressif.

• Veillez à ce qu’aucun liquide ne pénètre dans

le produit.

7. Exclusion de garantie

par une installation, un montage ou une

4. Introducción

El convertidor es de uso universal y tiene una

entrada de euroconector, así como una salida

digital HDMI. Se utiliza para convertir una trans-

misión de imagen y sonido en una señal digital.

Esto signica que los dispositivos de reproducci-

ón que sólo tienen una interfaz de euroconector,

como grabadoras de vídeo, decodicadores,

reproductores de DVD o consolas de juegos,

pueden conectarse a un monitor o a un televisor

de pantalla plana con entrada HDMI.

5. Puesta en marcha y funcionamiento

Nota

• Observe siempre las instrucciones de

uso de todos los dispositivos que desee

conectar.

• Tienda todos los cables de modo que no

constituyan un peligro de tropezar.

• No doble ni aplaste el cable.

Antes de la instalación, asegúrese de que

todos los dispositivos que desea conectar están

apagados.

• Conecte la entrada de euroconector (Scart-

Input) (1) del convertidor a su dispositivo

de reproducción, p. ej., un reproductor de

DVD o decodicador, mediante un cable de

euroconector (no incluido en el volumen de

suministro).

• Conecte la salida HDMI (HDMI-Output) (2) del

convertidor con la entrada correspondiente

del televisor o del monitor con ayuda de un

cable HDMI (no incluido en el volumen de

suministro).

• Conecte el cable USB suministrado con la

conexión «DC/5V» (3).

• Conecte el cable USB con una entrada USB

libre del PC o del televisor. El LED Power (4)

luce ahora en rojo.

• Como alternativa, el convertidor puede

ser operado a través de una fuente de

alimentación USB adecuada (no incluida en

el volumen de suministro). Para ello, consulte

las instrucciones de manejo de la fuente de

alimentación que utilice.

Nota

El conmutador (5) permite ajustar la señal de

salida a 1080p o 720p.

6. Mantenimiento y cuidado

Nota

Desconecte el dispositivo de la red eléctrica

antes de limpiarlo y cuando no lo vaya

a utilizar durante un período de tiempo

prolongado.

• Limpie este producto sólo con un paño

ligeramente humedecido que no deje pelusas

y no utilice detergentes agresivos.

• Asegúrese de que no entre agua en el

producto.

4. Inleiding

De converter kan universeel worden gebruikt

en beschikt over een scart-ingang evenals

een digitale HDMI-uitgang. Hij dient voor het

omzetten van een analoge beeld- en geluidsover-

dracht in een digitaal signaal. Zodoende kunnen

weergavetoestellen die alleen over een scart-

interface beschikken, zoals bijv. videorecorders,

settopboxen, dvd-spelers of spelconsoles, op een

monitor of atscreen met HDMI-ingang worden

aangesloten.

5. Ingebruikneming en werking

Aanwijzing

• Neem algemeen de bedieningsinstructies

van alle aan te sluiten apparatuur in acht.

• Leg alle kabels zodanig dat zij geen

struikelgevaar vormen.

• De kabel niet knikken of inklemmen.

Controleer vóór het installeren dat alle

toestellen, welke u wenst aan te sluiten, zn

uitgeschakeld.

• Verbind de scart-ingang (scart-input) (1) van

de converter via een scart-kabel (niet bde

levering inbegrepen) met uw weergavetoestel,

bv. een dvd-speler of een settopbox.

• Verbind de HDMI-uitgang (HDMI-output)

(2) van de converter via een HDMI-kabel

(niet bde levering inbegrepen) met de

respectievelke ingang van een tv of monitor.

• Sluit de meegeleverde USB-kabel op het

aansluitpunt „DC/5V” (3) aan.

• Verbind de USB-kabel met een vre USB-poort

van uw pc of tv. De Power-led (4) brandt

nu rood.

• Alternatief kan de converter via een geschikte

USB-voedingsadapter (niet bde levering

inbegrepen) worden gebruikt. Neem hiervoor

de handleiding van de gebruikte USB-

voedingsadapter in acht.

Aanwijzing

Met de keuzeschakelaar (5) kan het

uitgangssignaal op 1080p of 720p worden

ingesteld.

6. Onderhoud en verzorging

Aanwijzing

Trek de stekker van het apparaat uit het

stopcontact voordat u het reinigt en wanneer

het apparaat gedurende langere tijd niet

wordt gebruikt.

• Reinig dit product uitsluitend met een

pluisvre, licht vochtige doek en maak geen

gebruik van agressieve reinigingsmiddelen.

• Let erop dat er geen water in het product

binnendringt.

7. Uitsluiting van garantie en aanspra-

kelkheid

Hama GmbH & Co KG aanvaardt geen enkele

aansprakelkheid of garantieclaims voor schade

of gevolgschade, welke door ondeskundige

installatie, montage en ondeskundig gebruik van

het product ontstaan of het resultaat zn van het

niet in acht nemen van de bedieningsinstructies

en/of veiligheidsinstructies.

• Il prodotto è concepito per l’uso domestico

privato, non commerciale.

• Proteggere il prodotto da sporcizia, umidità e

surriscaldamento e utilizzarlo solo in ambienti

asciutti.

• Tenere questo apparecchio, come tutte le

apparecchiature elettriche, fuori dalla portata

l’apparecchio da soli. Fare eseguire

qualsiasi lavoro di riparazione al personale

specializzato competente.

4. Introduzione

Il convertitore ha un utilizzo universale e

presenta un ingresso scart come anche un uscita

HDMI digitale. Viene utilizzato per trasformare

un’immagine analogica con rispettivo suono in

un segnale digitale. In questo modo è possibile

collegare i dispositivi di riproduzione che hanno

solo un interfaccia scart, ad es. videoregistratori,

altoparlanti set top; lettori DVD o console per

videogiochi, ad un monitor oppure ad un televi-

sore a schermo piatto con un ingresso HDMI.

5. Messa in esercizio e funzionamento

Avvertenza

• Osservare le istruzioni per l‘uso di tutti i

dispositivi da collegare.

• Disporre tutti i cavi in modo da non

inciamparsi.

• Non piegare, né schiacciare il cavo.

Prima dell’installazione, accertarsi che tutti i

dispositivi che si desidera collegare siano spenti.

• Collegare l’ingresso scart (scart-input) (1)

del convertitore tramite il cavo scart (non

contenuto nella confezione) con il rispettivo

dispositivo di riproduzione, ad es. un lettore

DVD o una cassa set top.

• Collegare l’uscita HDMI (HDMI output) (2)

del convertitore tramite il cavo HDMI (non

compreso nella confezione) con il rispettivo

ingresso del televisore o del monitor.

• Collegare il cavo USB compreso nella

confezione all’attacco „DC/5V” (3).

• Collegare il cavo USB con l’ingresso USB

libero del proprio PC o del proprio televisore.

Il LED di carica (4) rosso si accende.

• In alternativa è possibile alimentare il

convertitore con un cavo di rete USB adatto

(non compreso nella confezione). Per fare ciò,

consultare le istruzioni per l’uso del cavo di

alimentazione USB utilizzato.

Avvertenza

Con l’interruttore (5) è possibile impostare il

segnale in uscita su 1080p o 720p.

6. Cura e manutenzione

Avvertenza

Prima della pulizia e in un caso di lungo

inutilizzo, scollegare il dispositivo dalla rete

elettrica.

• Pulire il prodotto unicamente con un panno

che non lascia pelucchi e appena inumidito e

non ricorrere a detergenti aggressivi.

• Fare attenzione a non fare penetrare acqua

nel prodotto.

7. Esclusione di garanzia

Hama GmbH & Co KG non si assume alcuna

responsabilità per i danni derivati dal montaggio

o l‘utilizzo scorretto del prodotto, nonché dalla

4. Wprowadzenie

Uniwersalny konwerter wyposażony w wejście

Scart i cyfrowe wyjście HDMI. Służy do

przetwarzania obrazów i dźwięków analogowych

na sygnałcyfrowy. Dzięki temu odtwarzacze

wyposażone wyłącznie w złącze Scart, jak mag-

netowidy, przystawki STB, odtwarzacze DVD czy

konsole gier można podłączyćdo wejścia HDMI

monitora lub telewizora z płaskim ekranem.

4. Bevezetés

A konverter univerzálisan alkalmazható, és

rendelkezik egy SCART bemenettel, valamint egy

digitális HDMI kimenettel. Az analóg kép- és

hangátvitel digitális jellé alakítására szolgál.

Ennek segítségével a csak egy Scart interfésszel

rendelkezőlejátszó eszközök, pl. videomagnók,

set-top boxok, DVD-lejátszók vagy játékkonzolok

monitorhoz vagy síkképernyős TV-hez csatla-

koztathatók HDMI bemenettel.

5. Üzembe vétel és üzemeltetés

Hivatkozás

• Vegye gyelembe minden csatlakoztatni

kívánt eszköz kezelési útmutatóját.

• Úgy helyezze el az összes kábelt, hogy azok

ne okozzanak botlásveszélyt.

• Ne törje meg és ne csíptesse be a kábelt.

• Csatlakoztassa az átalakító Scart-bemenetét

(1) a lejátszó eszközhöz egy Scart kábellel

(nem a szállítási terjedelem része), pl. DVD-

lejátszóhoz vagy set-top boxhoz.

• Csatlakoztassa az átalakító HDMI-kimenetét

(HDMI output) (2) a televízió vagy monitor

megfelelőbemenetéhez egy HDMI kábellel

(nem a szállítási terjedelem része).

• Csatlakoztassa a mellékelt USB kábelt a

„DC/5V” csatlakozóhoz (3).

• Csatlakoztassa az USB kábelt tévékészüléke

vagy a számítógépe szabad USB

bemenetéhez. A tápfeszültségjelzőLED (4)

ekkor vörösen világít.

• Alternatív megoldásként az átalakító

megfelelőUSB hálózati adapterrel is

működtethető(nem a szállítási terjedelem

része). Ehhez kapcsolódóan olvassa el az USB

hálózati adapter használati útmutatóját.

6. Karbantartás és ápolás

• Protejaţi produsul de impurităţi, umiditate,

supraîncălzire și utilizaţi-l numai în mediu

uscat.

• Acest aparat, ca de altfel toatăaparatura

electronică, nu are ce căuta în mâinile

copiilor!

• Folosiți produsul numai în scopul pentru care

a fost conceput.

• Evitaţi folosirea produsului în imediata

apropiere a sistemului de încălzire, a altor

• Reciclarea materialului pachetului se execută

comform normelor locale de salubrizare în

vigoare.

• Nu deschideți produsul și nu-l utilizați în

continuare în caz de deterioare.

• Nu încercaţi săreparaţi sau sădepanaţi

aparatul. Operaţiile de reparaţii se execută

numai de personal de specialitate.

4. Introducere

Convertorul este utilizabil universal și dispune

de o intrare Scart și o ieșire HDMI digitală.

Servește la convertirea transmisiilor analogice de

sunet și imagine în semnale digitale. Astfel pot

conectate aparate de redare care au numai o

interfață Scart precum videorecorder, boxe Set-

Top, DVD-Player sau console pentru jocuri la un

monitor sau televizor plat cu intrări HDMI.

5. Punere în funcțiune și utilizare

Instrucțiune

• În general trebuie respectate instrucțiunile

de utilizare ale tuturor aparatelor care

urmeazăsă e racordate.

• Pozați cablurile în așa fel sănu vă

împiedicați de ele.

• Nu îndoițişi nu striviţi cablul.

Înainte de instalare, asigurați-văcătoate apara-

tele pe care doriți săle conectați sunt oprite.

• Cu un cablu Scart (nu este în livrare) conectați

intrarea Scart (Scart-Input)(1) a convertorului

cu aparatul de redare de ex. DVD-Player sau

boxe Set-Top.

• Cu un cablu HDMI (nu este în livrare)

conectați ieșirea HDMI (HDMI-Output) (2) a

convertorului cu intrarea corespunzătoare a

televizorului sau monitorului.

• Conectați cablul USB livrat la racordul

„DC/5V” (3).
