ckelt, um bei der Anwendung mit dem

Massageaufsatz (1a) beste Ergebnisse

zu erzielen. Zur Aktivierung halten Sie

den Ein- / Ausschalter (4) gedrückt, bis

das weiße und rote Blinken aufhört (ca.

10 Sekunden). Verfahren Sie ebenso, um

diese Funktion auszuschalten.

Einschaltsperre (D)

Um die Reisesperre zu aktivieren, drü-

cken Sie den Ein- / Ausschalter 3 Sekun-

den lang, bis ein Piepton die erfolgreiche

Aktivierung bestätigt. Um das Gerät zu

entsperren, drücken Sie den Ein- / Aus-

schalter erneut 3 Sekunden lang. Lassen

Sie den Ein- / Ausschalter los, sobald das

Gerät angeht. Das Gerät kann auch ent-

sperrt werden, indem Sie es mit dem

Netzteil aufladen.

Die Betriebszeit beträgt 50 Minuten,

wenn das Gerät innerhalb von 24 Stunden

nach Vollladung benutzt wird. Laden Sie

das Gerät wieder auf, wenn die gelbe

Ladekontrollleuchte aufleuchtet oder der

Motor ausgeht. Eine 15-minütige Schnell-

ladung ermöglicht eine Betriebszeit von

10 Minuten.

Die beste Umgebungstemperatur für das

Laden, die Verwendung und die Aufbe-

wahrung liegt zwischen 15 und 35 °C. Bei

höheren oder niedrigeren Temperaturen

kann der Ladevorgang länger dauern.

Am Ende seiner Lebensdauer kann der

Akku beim Braun Kundendienst ersetzt

werden.

Epilation (A)

Tipps für Einsteiger

• Wenn Sie bisher noch keinen Epilierer

verwendet haben, kann es einige Zeit

dauern, bis sich Ihre Haut an die Epila-

tion anpasst. Zu Beginn sollte die Epi-

lation wöchentlich durchgeführt werden,

um das Zupfempfinden zu reduzieren.

• Erstanwender sollten abends epilieren,

damit Rötungen über Nacht verschwin-

den können. Um die Haut zu entspan-

nen, empfehlen wir, nach der Epilation

eine Feuchtigkeitscreme aufzutragen.

• Die Epilation ist einfacher und ange-

nehmer, wenn die Haare zwischen

0,5 und 3 mm lang sind.

Wenn die Haare länger sind, empfehlen

wir Ihnen, sie zu kürzen.

• Durch Peelings werden eingewach-

sene Haare vermieden und optimale

Voraussetzungen für die Epilation

geschaffen.

• Wir empfehlen die Verwendung des

Massage-Aufsatzes mit aktivierter

SensoSmart-Funktion.

Vorbereitungen

Trockenanwendung: Ihre Haut muss

trocken und frei von Fett und Creme sein.

Nassanwendung: Achten Sie darauf,

dass Ihre Haut gut angefeuchtet ist,

damit das Gerät optimal gleiten kann.

Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Verwen-

dung des Geräts immer, dass der Epilier-

kopf (2) sauber und mit einem Aufsatz

versehen ist.

Wie man epiliert

Straffen Sie Ihre Haut immer beim Epilie-

ren. Bewegen Sie das Gerät langsam

und gleichmäßig, ohne Druck auszu-

üben, entgegen der Haarwuchsrichtung

in Richtung des Lichts.

Je nach Modell stehen verschiedene

Aufsätze zur Verfügung:

Massagerollenaufsatz (1a):

für besten Hautkomfort

Aufsatz für optimalen Hautkontakt (1b):

für mehr Effizienz

Beine:

Wenn Sie die Kniekehle epilieren, strecken

Sie das Bein gerade durch.

Sensible Bereiche:

Reinigen Sie empfindliche Bereiche

zuerst sorgfältig und trocknen Sie sie

sorgfältig ab, um Rückstände (wie Deo-

dorant) zu entfernen. Wenn Sie Ihre Ach-

seln epilieren, halten Sie Ihren Arm hoch,

um die Haut zu straffen, und führen Sie

das Gerät in unterschiedliche Richtun-

gen. Da die Haut direkt nach der Epila-

tion ggf. empfindlicher ist, vermeiden Sie

die Verwendung von reizenden Substan-

zen wie z. B. alkoholhaltige Deodorants.

Gesicht:

Reinigen Sie Ihre Haut vor dem Epilieren

gründlich mit einem desinfizierenden,

alkoholhaltigen Gesichtswasser. Straffen

Sie die Haut mit einer Hand und bewe-

gen Sie den Epilierer mit der anderen

Hand langsam in Richtung des Lichts.

Reinigung des Epilierkopfs

Schalten Sie das Gerät nach dem Ge-

brauch aus und reinigen Sie den Epilierkopf:

Entfernen Sie den Aufsatz (1a/b). Bürs-

ten Sie die Pinzetten aus, während Sie

die Pinzettenwalze manuell drehen. Neh-

men Sie den Epilierkopf ab und klopfen

Sie leicht darauf, um die Haare aus dem

Inneren des Kopfbereichs zu entfernen.

Wenn eine gründliche Reinigung erfor-

derlich ist, können Sie das Gerät mit dem

Epilierkopf unter heißes fließendes Was-

ser halten. Nehmen Sie dann den Epilier-

kopf ab und schütteln Sie ihn gründlich

aus, um sicherzustellen, dass das restli-

che Wasser heraustropft. Stellen Sie

sicher, dass der Epilierkopf trocken ist,

bevor Sie ihn wieder anbringen.

Allgemeine Informationen zur Epilation

Alle Methoden der Haarentfernung an

der Wurzel können zu Reizungen (z. B.

Jucken, Beschwerden und Hautrötun-

gen) führen, je nach Zustand der Haut

und der Haare. Das sind normale Reakti-

onen, die auch rasch wieder abklingen.

Sie können jedoch stärker auftreten,

wenn Sie zum ersten Mal epilieren oder

wenn Sie empfindliche Haut haben.

In aller Regel nehmen die Hautreaktio-

nen und das Schmerzempfinden nach

mehrmaliger Anwendung deutlich ab.

Falls die Hautreizungen nach 36 Stunden

noch anhalten, sollten Sie sich an Ihren

Arzt wenden.

Um das Risiko einer Infektion oder Ent-

zündung durch Bakterien zu minimieren,

die bei Mikroverlet

zungen in die Haut ein-

dringen, reinigen Sie den Epilierkopf und

Ihre Haut vor jedem Gebrauch gründlich.

Wenn Sie Zweifel bezüglich der Verwen-

dung dieses Geräts haben, wenden Sie

sich bitte an Ihren Arzt.

In den folgenden Fällen sollten Sie unbe-

dingt zunächst Ihren Arzt konsultieren,

bevor Sie das Gerät verwenden: Ekzeme,

Wunden, Entzündungen auf der Haut wie

Follikulitis (eiternde Haarfollikel) und

Krampfadern um Muttermale herum,

verringerte Immunität der Haut, z. B.

Hämophilie, Candida oder Immun-

schwäche.

Rasur (B)

Der Rasieraufsatz (10) wurde für eine

schnelle und gründliche Rasur von Bei-

nen, Achseln sowie der Bikinizone entwi-

ckelt. Rasieren Sie auf trockener Haut,

um beste Ergebnisse zu erzielen.

Um die Haare auf 3 mm Länge zu trimmen,

setzen Sie die Trimmerkappe (9) auf und

führen Sie sie flach über die Haut, mit

der Öffnung entgegen der Haarwuchs-

richtung.

Reinigung

Reinigen Sie niemals die Scherfolie mit

der Bürste, weil das die Folie beschädi-

gen könnte. Sie können

den Rasierauf-

satz unter fließendem Wasser reinigen.

Zum Trocknen entfernen Sie den Rasier-

aufsatz. Ölen und pflegen Sie die Scher-

teile regelmäßig (1. Folie / 2. Trimmer).

Entsorgung

Das Gerät enthält Akkus und wieder-

verwertbare Elektrobauteile. Um

die Umwelt zu schützen, entsorgen

Sie es nicht im Hausmüll, sondern

bringen Sie es zu den örtlichen Sammel-

stellen.

Änderungen vorbehalten.

Garantie

Als Hersteller übernehmen wir für dieses

Gerät – nach Wahl des Käufers zusätzlich

zu den gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsan-

Press the power button (4) to turn the

appliance on and off.

When it is switched on, the Smart light (3)

shines to provide good visibility of fine hairs.

SensoSmart

pressure control (E)

The SensoSmart light (3) turns red when

you apply too much pressure. This func-

tion has been developed to provide best

epilation results when using the massage

cap (1a). To activate it, press and hold

the power button (4) until the white and

red flashes stop (10 seconds). Proceed

the same way to disable this function.

Travel lock (D)

To activate the travel lock, press the

power button 3 seconds until a beep

confirms successful activation. To unlock

the device, press the power button again

3 seconds. Release the power button,

when the appliance starts running.

How to replace heads

Turn off the appliance, press the release

button (7) and take off the head. Attach a

different one.

Before use, charge the appliance for

2 hours using the power supply (8).

Operation time is up to 50 minutes when

used within 24 hours after charging.

Recharge when the yellow charging light

comes on or when the motor has stopped

completely. A 15-minute quick charge will

provide 10 minutes operation time.

The best temperature range for char-

ging, using and storing the appliance is

between 15 °C and 35 °C. Beyond this

range, charging might take longer.

The built-in rechargeable battery can be

replaced at an authorized Braun Service

Centre when it has reached the end of its

useful life.

Epilation (A)

Tips for beginners

• If you have not used an epilator before,

it may take some time for your skin to

adapt to epilation. In the beginning,

epilate on a weekly basis to help

reduce the discomfort.

• First time users should epilate in the

evening so that reddening can disap-

pear overnight. To relax the skin, we

recommend applying a moisturizing

cream after epilation.

• Epilation is easier and more comfor-

table when the

hair is between 0.5 –

3 mm long. If hairs are longer,

recommend that you shorten them.

• Exfoliation avoids ingrown hairs and

provides optimum conditions for

epilation.

• We recommend using the massage

cap with the SensoSmart function

activated.

Getting prepared

Dry usage: Your skin must be dry and

free from grease or cream.

Wet usage: Make sure your skin is very

moist to

achieve optimum gliding condi-

tions for the appliance.

Make sure that the epilation head (2) is

clean and provided with a cap.

How to epilate

Always stretch your skin while epilating.

Guide the appliance in a slow, continu-

ous movement without pressure against

the hair growth in the direction of the

light.

Depending on model, there are various

epilation caps available:

Massage cap (1a):

for best comfort

Skin contact cap (1b):

for increased efficiency

Legs:

When epilating behind the knee, keep

the leg stretched out straight.

Sensitive areas:

First thoroughly clean and carefully dry

sensitive areas to remove residues (like

deodorant). When epilating the under-

arm, keep your arm raised up so that the

skin is stretched and guide the appliance

in different directions. As skin may be

more sensitive after epilation, avoid

using irritating substances such as deo-

dorants with alcohol.

Face:

Before epilating, clean your skin thor-

oughly with a disinfecting toner contain-

ing alcohol. Stretch the skin with one

hand and slowly guide the epilator with

your other hand in the direction of the light.

Cleaning the epilation head

After use, turn off the appliance and

clean the epilation head:

Remove the cap (1a/b). Brush out the

tweezers while turning the tweezer ele-

ment manually. Take off the epilator head

and gently tap it to remove hairs from

inside the head.

If a thorough clean is needed, you may

hold the appliance with the epilation

head under hot running water. Then take

off the epilation head and shake off

remaining water. Make sure it is dry

before reattaching.

General information on epilation

All methods of hair removal from the root

can lead to irritation (e.g. itching,

discomfort and reddening of the skin)

depending on the condition of the skin

and hair. This is a normal reaction and

should quickly disappear, but may be

stronger when you are re moving hair at

the root for the first few times or if you

have sensitive skin.

In general, skin reactions and the sensa-

tion of pain tend to diminish considerably

with repeated use.

If, after 36 hours, the skin still shows irri-

tation, we recommend that you contact

your physician.

To minimize the risk of infection or

inflammation due to bacteria penetrating

the skin when it comes to micro-injuries,

thoroughly clean the epilation head and

your skin before each use.

Shaving (B)

The shaver head (10) is designed for a

fast and close shave of legs, underarms

and bikini area. Shave on dry skin to

obtain best results.

For trimming hairs to 3 mm length, attach

the trimmer comb (9) and guide it flat

over the skin, with the opening against

the direction of hair growth.

Cleaning

Do not clean the shaver foil with the

brush as this may damage it. The shaver

head can be cleaned under running

water. For drying purposes, remove the

shaving unit. Lubricate it regularly (1. foil /

2. trimmers).

Disposal

This product contains batteries and recy-

clable electronic waste. To protect

the environment, do not dispose of

it in the household waste, but take

it to appropriate local collection points.

Le voyant SensoSmart (3) devient rouge

lorsque vous appliquez trop de pression.

Cette fonction a été développée pour

massage (1a). Pour l'activer, maintenez

le bouton d'alimentation (4) enfoncé

jusqu'à ce que les flashs blancs et

rouges s'arrêtent (10 secondes).

Procédez de la même manière pour

désactiver cette fonction.

Verrou de voyage (D)

Pour activer le verrou de voyage,

appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation

pendant 3 secondes jusqu’à ce qu’un

bip sonore confirme l’activation.

Pour déverrouiller l’appareil, appuyez

sur le bouton d’alimentation à nouveau

pendant 3 secondes. Relâchez le bouton

d’alimentation, lorsque l’appareil com-

mence à fonctionner. Vous pouvez

également déverrouiller l’appareil en le

chargeant.

La durée de fonctionnement de l’appareil

va jusqu’à 50 minutes pour une utilisa-

tion 24 heures après le chargement.

Rechargez lorsque le témoin de charge

devient jaune ou lorsque le moteur s’est

arrêté. Une charge rapide de 15 minutes

vous donnera 10 minutes d’opération.

La température idéale de chargement,

d’utilisation et de stockage de l’appareil

se situe entre 15 et 35 °C. En dehors de

cette échelle de température, le charge-

ment peut être plus long.

La batterie rechargeable intégrée peut

être remplacée par un centre de service

Braun agréé lorsqu’elle a atteint la fin de

sa vie utile.

Épilation (A)

Conseils pour débutantes

• Si vous n’avez jamais utilisé d’épila-

teur, cela peut prendre un certain

temps pour votre peau s’adapte à

l’épilation. Au début, épilez-vous une

fois par semaine afin de réduire les

désagréments.

• Pour les premières utilisations, épilez-

vous le soir pour que les rougeurs

disparaissent pendant la nuit. Il est

recommandé d’appliquer une crème

hydratante pour apaiser la peau après

l’épilation.

• L’épilation est plus facile et plus

confortable lorsque les poils mesurent

entre 0,5 et 3 mm.

Si les poils sont plus longs, nous

recommandons de les raccourcir.

• L’exfoliation évite l’apparition de poils

incarnés et fournit les conditions opti-

males pour l’épilation.

• Nous vous recommandons d'utiliser

l’accessoire de massage (1a) avec la

fonction SensoSmart activée.

Se préparer

Utilisation à sec : assurez-vous que votre

peau est sèche et débarrassée de toute

huile ou crème.

Utilisation sous l’eau : Pour obtenir de

meilleurs résultats, assurez-vous que

votre peau est bien humide.

Assurez-vous que la tête d’épilation (2)

est propre et équipée d’un accessoire.

Comment s’épiler

Tendez toujours bien votre peau lors de

l’épilation. Guidez l’appareil avec un

mouvement lent et continu, sans exercer

de pression, dans le sens inverse de la

pousse des poils, dans le sens de la

lumière.

Selon le modèle, plusieurs accessoires

sont disponibles :

Accessoire massage (1a) :

pour un confort optimal de la peau

Accessoire de contact avec la peau (1b) :

pour une meilleure efficacité

Jambes :

Gardez la jambe tendue lorsque vous

épilez l’arrière des genoux.

Zones sensibles :

Commencez par nettoyer et sécher soi-

gneusement les zones sensibles pour

éliminer les résidus (comme le déodo-

rant). Lorsque vous vous épilez les ais-

selles, maintenez le bras levé afin que

votre peau soit bien étirée puis guidez

l’appareil dans différentes directions. La

peau peut être plus sensible après l’épi-

lation. C’est pourquoi, il est préférable

d’éviter d’utiliser des produits irritants,

comme des déodorants avec alcool.

Visage :

Avant l’épilation, nettoyer votre peau

avec un tonifiant désinfectant contenant

de l’alcool. Étirer la peau d’une main,

guider lentement l’épilateur avec l’autre

main dans le sens de la lumière.

Nettoyage de la tête d’épilation

Après utilisation, éteindre l’appareil et

nettoyer la tête d’épilation :

Retirer l’accessoire (1a/b). Brosser les

pincettes en les faisant tourner manuel-

lement. Prendre la tête d’épilation et la

secouer doucement pour enlever les

poils à l’intérieur de la tête.

Si un nettoyage complet est nécessaire,

vous pouvez maintenir l’appareil et la

tête d’épilation sous l’eau courante

chaude. Puis, retirez la tête d’épilation et

secouez-là pour l’égoutter correcte-

ment. Assurez-vous qu’elle soit sèche

avant de la remettre en place.

Informations générales sur l’épilation

Toutes les méthodes d’épilation à la

racine peuvent entraîner des irritations

cutanées (par exemple, démangeaisons,

gêne et rougeur de la peau) selon l’état

de votre peau et de vos poils. Il s’agit

d’une réaction normale qui doit dispa-

raître rapidement. Cette réaction peut

être plus importante après les

premières

épilations ou si vous avez une peau sensible.

En général, les réactions cutanées et la

sensation de douleur tendent à diminuer

considérablement après plusieurs utilisa-

tions. Si votre peau montre toujours des

signes d’irritation après 36 heures, il est

recommandé de consulter un médecin.

tion et votre peau avant chaque utilisation.

En cas de doutes à propos de l’utilisation

de cet appareil, consultez un médecin.

Dans les cas suivants, cet appareil

devrait uniquement être utilisé après

avoir consulté un médecin : eczéma,

plaies, réactions inflammatoires de la

peau telles que la folliculite (follicules

Rasage (B)

La tête de rasage (10) est conçue pour

un rasage rapide et précis des jambes,

des aisselles et du maillot. Rasez sur

peau sèche pour des résultats optimaux.

Pour tondre des poils de 3 mm de lon-

gueur, fixez le sabot tondeuse (9) et gui-

dez-le à plat sur la peau, avec l’ouverture

dans le sens inverse de la pousse

du poil.

Nettoyage

Ne pas laver la grille du rasoir avec la

brosse. Cela pourrait l’endommager.

La tête de rasage peut être nettoyée à

l’eau courante. Pour le séchage, retirez

l’unité de rasage. Lubrifier régulièrement

(1. grille / 2. tondeuses).

Mise au rebut

Ce produit contient des piles et des

déchets électriques recyclables.

Afin de contribuer à la protection de

l’environnement, ne le jetez pas

avec les ordures ménagères. Déposez-le

au centre de collecte approprié.
