Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing this Hendi appliance. Read this user
manual carefully, paying particular attention to the safety
regulations outlined below, before installing and using this
appliance for the first time.
Safety instructions
• Only use this appliance outdoors.
• Incorrect operation and improper use of the appliance can
seriously damage the appliance and injure users.
• The appliance may only be used for the purpose it was in-
tended and designed for. The manufacturer is not liable for
any damage caused by incorrect operation and improper use.
• Never try to open the casing of the appliance yourself.
• Do not insert any objects in the casing of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance after it has fallen or is damaged in
any other way. Have it checked and repaired, if necessary, by
a certified repair company.
• Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. This could give rise
to life-threatening situations.
• Always keep an eye on the appliance when in use.
• Children do not understand that incorrect use of appliances
can be dangerous. Therefore, never let children use applianc-
es without supervision.
• Do not use any extra devices that are not supplied along with
the appliance.
• The use of the installation must comply with the applicable
national and local regulations.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabili-
ties, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• This appliance is intended solely for preparing food.
• Gas and electrical installations should be checked at least
once a year.
• Note: the griddle is hot. Let it cool down before touching or
removing it.
• We recommend to use only gas cylinders with a capacity of
more than 10 kilograms.
• Perform gas cylinder replacement away from potential igni-
tion sources.
• Always place the gas cylinder adjacent to the appliance, not
underneath it.
• If a gas leak is detected immediately close the gas valve.
• Note that parts of the barbecue can become very hot. Wear
protective clothing (gloves) if you must touch them anyway.
Special safety instructions
• Use only the supplied pressure regulator.
• This appliance is suited for propane and butane gas.
• Check that there are no kinks in the gas hose.
• Keep the appliance away from (easily) flammable materials.
• If a gas leak is detected immediately close the gas valve on
the gas bottle.
• Certain accessible parts of the barbecue can become ex-
tremely hot during operation. In view of this, keep the barbe-
cue out of reach of children.
• The barbecue may only be installed against or on fire-resist-
ant surfaces.
• The barbecue is intended for professional use and can only be
used by authorized personnel.
• The barbecue must be installed in accordance with the appli-
cable national regulations.
• Do not move the barbecue during use.
• Always close the gas valve on the gas bottle if the barbecue is
no longer being used.
• Changing or modifying this equipment is dangerous and
therefore not allowed.
• Parts which are fastened or sealed by the manufacturer, are
not to be loosened or adjusted by the user.
• Install the barbecue as level as possible with regard to the
grease drain.
• Do not cover the ventilation openings in the barbecue.
• To prevent blockage of the venturis, keep the venturis and the
surrounding area clean of dust, cobwebs, etc.
• Place the gas bottle in the designated container, maximum di-
mensions of the gas bottle: diameter 40 cm and height 59 cm.
WARNING: some parts of the appliance can become hot. Keep
children away from the barbecue.
Connecting the gas bottle
1 = Main tap
2 = Pressure regulator
3 = Gas hose
4 = Gas Bottle
5 = Rubber washer
Attach the pressure regulator to the gas bottle using the large
nut. Always ensure that the rubber sealing washer is present
in the nut. Tighten the nut well. Note that the nut has a left-
hand thread. Check the connections for leaks using a soap and
water solution.
Every time a newly filled gas bottle is connected, a new rubber
washer must be fitted. In most cases, your gas supplier will
include it with the bottle.
Igniting the gas barbecue
Turn the knob fully to the right. Press the knob and turn left to
the maximum position. Keep the knob pressed and press the
ignition button a few times. Keep the knob pressed in for ap-
proximately 10 more seconds. The burner will continue to burn.
Let the barbecue burn for approximately 15 minutes before
putting meat on the grid, as the burners must first heat the
chamber before it can pass its heat to the upper grid.

Extinguishing the gas barbecue:
Turn the knob fully to the right. Note! After turning off the
burners, wait approximately 10 minutes before reigniting the
burners.
When disconnecting the gas bottle or after turning off the burn-
ers, always turn off the regulator on the gas bottle!
Note! After turning off the burners, wait approximately 10

tap on the appliance!
If your barbecue has a griddle
Before you start using the griddle for the first time, please fol-
low the following procedure:
• Remove the grids and place the griddle above the burners.
• Pour a layer of oil in the pan and heat the pan until the inside
smokes and darkens.
• Sprinkle the pan generously with salt (unwanted substances
like water and dirt will be absorbed by the salt).
• Clean the pan using kitchen paper. The pan is now ready to
be used.
Note! Keep the griddle slightly greased at all times to prevent
oxidation.
If you barbecue is equipped with a heat shield
The heat shield must be cleaned and degreased thoroughly af-
ter each use in order to prevent the risk of fire!
Cleaning & maintenance
• Clean and degrease the barbecue after each use (to prevent
the risk of fire!)
• Thoroughly clean the upper grid after each use
• Clean the stainless steel burner container after each use
If the barbecue will not be used for an extensive period of
time, it is recommended to lightly oil the non-stainless steel,
non-lacquered parts using an acid free oil. The gas hose must
be replaced every 2 years, as it becomes porous over time. Gas
bottles, even when empty, must be stored in an upright position.
It is recommended to sign a maintenance contract with your
supplier to ensure you can make optimal use of your barbecue.

If the appliance does not function properly, please check the
below table for the solution. If you are still unable to solve the
problem, please contact the supplier/service provider.

• It is recommended to replace the gas hose and pressure
regulator after 2 years (check the production date), as they
become porous over time. Also check the hose assembly
(incl. quick coupling and pressure regulator) for leaks at least
once a year and each time after using the appliance. U must
always check the condition of the hose assembly (including
quick coupling and pressure regulator).
• Check the hose/quick coupling and the pressure regulator for
cracks/damage before each use. In case of damage/cracks,
replace the affected parts immediately.
• Always observe the local safety regulations (such as the local
fire regulations). These may differ depending on your location.
• Use only original parts when replacing or changing parts.
• Always store gas bottles in an upright position, in use as well
as when empty.
Warranty
Any defect affecting the functionality of the appliance which
becomes apparent within one year after purchase will be re-
paired by free repair or replacement provided the appliance has
been used and maintained in accordance with the instructions
and has not been abused or misused in any way. Your statutory
rights are not affected. If the appliance is claimed under war-
ranty, state where and when it was purchased and include proof
of purchase (e.g. receipt).
In line with our policy of continuous product development we
reserve the right to change the product, packaging and docu-
mentation specifications without notice.
Discarding & Environment
When decommissioning the appliance, the prod-
uct must not be disposed of with other household
waste. Instead, it is your responsibility to dispose
to your waste equipment by handing it over to a
designated collection point. Failure to follow this
rule may be penalized in accordance with applicable regula-
tions on waste disposal. The separate collection and recycling
of your waste equipment at the time of disposal will help con-
serve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled in a man-

ner that protects human health and the environment.
For more information about where you can drop off your waste
for recycling, please contact your local waste collection compa-
ny. The manufacturers and importers do not take responsibility
for recycling, treatment and ecological disposal, either directly
or through a public system.

Befestigen Sie den Druckregler mit der großen Mutter an der
Gasflasche. Stellen Sie immer sicher, dass sich die Gummidi-
chtungsscheibe in der Mutter befindet. Ziehen Sie die Mutter
gut an. Beachten Sie, dass die Mutter ein Linksgewinde hat.
Überprüfen Sie die Anschlüsse mit einer Seifen- und Wasser-
lösung auf Undichtigkeiten.
Jedes Mal, wenn eine neu befüllte Gasflasche angeschlossen
wird, muss eine neue Gummischeibe montiert werden. In den

Gasgrill entzünden
Drehen Sie den Knopf ganz nach rechts. Drücken Sie den Knopf
und drehen Sie ihn bis zur maximalen Position nach links.
Halten Sie den Knopf gedrückt und drücken Sie die Zünd-
taste einige Male. Halten Sie den Knopf noch ca. 10 Sekunden
gedrückt. Der Brenner brennt weiter.
Lassen Sie den Grill etwa 15 Minuten lang brennen, bevor Sie
Fleisch auf das Gitter legen, da die Brenner zuerst die Kammer
erwärmen müssen, bevor sie ihre Wärme an das obere Gitter

Wenn Ihr Grill eine Grillpfanne hat
Bevor Sie das Griddle zum ersten Mal verwenden, befolgen Sie

• Entfernen Sie die Gitter und platzieren Sie das Gitter über
den Brennern.
• Eine Schicht Öl in die Pfanne gießen und die Pfanne erhitzen,

Wenn das Grillfest über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht ver-
wendet wird, wird empfohlen, die nichtrostenden, nicht lack-
ierten Stahlteile mit einem säurefreien Öl leicht zu ölen. Der
Gasschlauch muss alle 2 Jahre ausgetauscht werden, da er mit
der Zeit porös wird. Gasflaschen müssen, auch wenn sie leer
sind, aufrecht gelagert werden.

• Verplaats de barbecue niet tijdens gebruik.
• Sluit altijd de gasklep op de gasfles als de barbecue niet meer
wordt gebruikt.
• Het wijzigen of aanpassen van deze apparatuur is gevaarlijk

• Onderdelen die door de fabrikant worden bevestigd of ver-
zegeld, mogen niet door de gebruiker worden losgemaakt of

• Dek de ventilatieopeningen in de barbecue niet af.
• Om verstopping van de venturi’s te voorkomen, moeten de
venturi’s en het omliggende gebied vrij worden gehouden van
stof, spinnenwebben, enz.
• Plaats de gasfles in de daarvoor bestemde container, maxi-
male afmetingen van de gasfles: diameter 40 cm en hoogte
59 cm.
WAARSCHUWING: sommige onderdelen van het apparaat
kunnen heet worden. Houd kinderen uit de buurt van de bar-
becue.

De gasfles aansluiten

Bevestig de drukregelaar met de grote moer aan de gasfles.
Zorg er altijd voor dat de rubberen afdichtingsring in de moer
aanwezig is. Draai de moer goed vast. Merk op dat de moer
een linkse schroefdraad heeft. Controleer de aansluitingen op
lekken met een zeep- en wateroplossing.
Telkens wanneer een nieuw gevulde gasfles wordt aangesloten,
moet een nieuwe rubberen ring worden aangebracht. In de
meeste gevallen zal uw gasleverancier deze bij de fles voegen.
De gasbarbecue ontsteken
Draai de knop volledig naar rechts. Druk op de knop en draai
naar links naar de maximale stand. Houd de knop ingedrukt en
druk een paar keer op de ontstekingsknop. Houd de knop nog
ongeveer 10 seconden ingedrukt. De brander blijft branden.
Laat de barbecue ongeveer 15 minuten branden voordat u vlees
op het rooster zet, omdat de branders eerst de kamer moeten
verwarmen voordat deze zijn warmte naar het bovenste rooster
kan overbrengen.
De gasbarbecue blussen:
Draai de knop volledig naar rechts. Opmerking! Wacht na het
uitschakelen van de branders ongeveer 10 minuten voordat u
de branders weer aansteekt.
Zet bij het loskoppelen van de gasfles of na het uitschakelen

Als uw barbecue een bakplaat heeft
Volg de volgende procedure voordat u de rooster voor het eerst
gebruikt:
• Verwijder de roosters en plaats de bakplaat boven de brand-
ers.
• Giet een laag olie in de pan en verwarm de pan totdat de bin-
nenkant rookt en donkerder wordt.
• Bestrooi de pan rijkelijk met zout (ongewenste stoffen zoals
water en vuil worden door het zout geabsorbeerd).
• Reinig de pan met keukenpapier. De pan is nu klaar voor ge-
bruik.
Opmerking! Houd de bakplaat te allen tijde licht gesmeerd om
oxidatie te voorkomen.
Als je barbecue is uitgerust met een hitteschild
Het hitteschild moet na elk gebruik grondig worden gereinigd
en ontvet om het risico op brand te voorkomen!
Reiniging en onderhoud
• Reinig en ontvet de barbecue na elk gebruik (om het risico op
brand te voorkomen!)
• Reinig het bovenste rooster grondig na elk gebruik
• Reinig de roestvrijstalen brandercontainer na elk gebruik
Als de barbecue gedurende een lange periode niet wordt
gebruikt, wordt aanbevolen om de niet-roestvrijstalen, niet-
gelakte onderdelen licht te oliën met een zuurvrije olie. De
gasslang moet elke 2 jaar worden vervangen, omdat deze na
verloop van tijd poreus wordt. Gasflessen moeten, zelfs als ze
leeg zijn, rechtop worden bewaard.
Het wordt aanbevolen om een onderhoudscontract te onder-
tekenen met uw leverancier om ervoor te zorgen dat u optimaal
gebruik kunt maken van uw barbecue. Neem contact op met
uw leverancier voor meer informatie over de voorwaarden.

Se il barbecue è dotato di uno schermo termico
Lo schermo termico deve essere pulito e sgrassato accurata-
mente dopo ogni utilizzo per evitare il rischio di incendio!
Pulizia e manutenzione

• Pulire accuratamente la griglia superiore dopo ogni utilizzo
• Pulire il contenitore del bruciatore in acciaio inossidabile
dopo ogni utilizzo
Se il barbecue non viene utilizzato per un lungo periodo di
tempo, si consiglia di oliare leggermente le parti in acciaio non
inossidabile non laccate utilizzando un olio privo di acido. Il
tubo del gas deve essere sostituito ogni 2 anni, man mano che
diventa poroso nel tempo. Le bombole di gas, anche se vuote,
devono essere conservate in posizione verticale.
Si consiglia di firmare un contratto di manutenzione con il for-

• Si consiglia di sostituire il tubo del gas e il regolatore di pres-
sione dopo 2 anni (controllare la data di produzione), in quan-
to diventano porosi nel tempo. Controllare inoltre che il grup-

di pressione) non presenti perdite almeno una volta all’anno
e ogni volta dopo l’uso dell’apparecchiatura. U deve sempre

• Controllare il flessibile/giunto rapido e il regolatore di pres-

Instrucțiuni speciale privind siguranța
• Utilizați numai regulatorul de presiune furnizat.

• Țineți aparatul la distanță de materiale (ușor) inflamabile.

Conectarea sticlei de gaz
1 = Tarod principal
2 = Regulator de presiune
3 = Furtun pentru gaz
4 = Sticlă de gaz
5 = Șaibă de cauciuc
Atașați regulatorul de presiune la butelia de gaz folosind pi-
ulița mare. Asigurați-vă întotdeauna că șaiba de etanșare din
cauciuc este prezentă în piuliță. Strângeți bine piulița. Rețineți
că piulița are un filet pe stânga. Verificați conexiunile pentru
scurgeri folosind o soluție de săpun și apă.
De fiecare dată când este conectată o sticlă de gaz nou um-
plută, trebuie montată o nouă șaibă de cauciuc. În majoritatea
cazurilor, furnizorul dvs. de gaz îl va include împreună cu sticla.
Aprinderea grătarului cu gaz
Rotiți complet butonul spre dreapta. Apăsați butonul de selec-
tare și rotiți la stânga în poziția maximă. Țineți apăsat butonul
de selectare și apăsați butonul de aprindere de câteva ori.
Țineți apăsat butonul timp de aproximativ 10 secunde. Arzăto-
rul va continua să ardă.
Lăsați grătarul să ardă timp de aproximativ 15 minute înainte
de a pune carnea pe grătar, deoarece arzătoarele trebuie să
încălzească mai întâi camera înainte de a putea trece căldura
la grătarul superior.
Stingerea grătarului cu gaz:
Rotiți complet butonul spre dreapta. Notă! După oprirea

reaprinde arzătoarele.

Dacă grătarul dvs. are o tavă
Înainte de a începe să utilizați grătarul pentru prima dată, vă
rugăm să urmați următoarea procedură:
• Scoateți grătarele și așezați grătarul deasupra arzătoarelor.
• Turnați un strat de ulei în cratiță și încălziți cratița până când
interiorul fumează și se întunecă.
• Presărați vasul generos cu sare (substanțe nedorite precum
apa și murdăria vor fi absorbite de sare).
• Curățați cratița folosind hârtie de bucătărie. Vasul este acum
gata de utilizare.
Notă! Păstrați grătarul ușor uns în permanență pentru a pre-
veni oxidarea.
Dacă grătarul este echipat cu un scut termic
Scutul termic trebuie curățat și degresat bine după fiecare uti-
lizare pentru a preveni riscul de incendiu!
Curățare și întreținere

• Curățați temeinic grila superioară după fiecare utilizare
• Curățați recipientul arzătorului din oțel inoxidabil după fie-
care utilizare
Dacă grătarul nu va fi utilizat pentru o perioadă lungă de timp,
se recomandă ungerea ușoară a pieselor din oțel necolorat și
nelaccheat cu un ulei fără acid. Furtunul de gaz trebuie înlocuit
la fiecare 2 ani, pe măsură ce devine poros în timp. Sticlele de
gaz, chiar și atunci când sunt goale, trebuie depozitate în poziție
verticală.
Se recomandă să semnați un contract de întreținere cu furni-
zorul dvs. pentru a vă asigura că puteți utiliza în mod optim
grătarul dvs. Contactați furnizorul pentru mai multe informații
despre aceste condiții.
Depanare
Dacă aparatul nu funcționează corespunzător, verificați tabelul
